Lenovo Tablet A3300/supp​ort sucks

Got my A3300 January 2015 which is included in my Globe Plan. I just used it for browsing and movies, after 3 weeks, I was not able to use it becuse whenever I try to turn it on, it just displays a white screen.  I went to globe and they said I can turn over my tablet to them or I can bring it to the nearest service provider. I opted to go to the nearest service provider so I can have my tab back in a shorter time, however, it's already been 2 mos 3 weeks but they were not able to fix it yet (Gigahertz-Megamall). Everytime I call, they always inform me that they had not received the part of the tab they had ordered and that they will update me the next day  - but they never do give me updates. This is frustrating! For Globe Telecom to give you a gadget that they won't be able to help you escalate/fix the issue and for Lenovo's support that takes months and who knows maybe a year! I really hope I won't retrieve my tab after the warranty is over.

  • Lenovo Tablet 2 Installation Problems - Help would be GREATLY appreciated as Lenovo WILL NOT HELP.

    Hi everyone.  I've been pulling my hair out with this and I'm just about at my breaking point after 15 some hours of messing with this but I thought I would give it one last shot.
    I have a Lenovo Tablet 2 that originally came with Windows 8 and later was upgraded via the store to 8.1.  When I went to do a complete format and re-install it asked me for media.  This product does not come with media. I figured the worst thing was that I would have to go the long way and install Windows without the recovery partition and reinstall all the drivers manually.  Boy was I wrong.  I booted to my UEFI enabled USB Windows 8.1 installer stick which was created using the new Mediacreationtool that Microsoft released to make either an ISO or USB stick.  Knowing this is UEFI only (more on that later), I downloaded the ISO and created the USB stick using RUFUS.  That booted fine and i blew away all the partitions and started the install.  Install goes fine until the very last step and says "windows could not update the computer's boot configuration".  The end.  Game over.  I can't get past this.  I've tried the following:
    1. Created a DaRT disc and did a complete clean of the drive
    2. tried a Windows 10 Disc - same thing
    3. Tried to edit the BCD using bcdedit command (more on that later) and nothing.
    I've probably done a half dozen other random things and I'm still back at the same position here.  The big issue with this device is that it is 32BIT UEFI only BIOS.  Terrible to work with because everything considers UEFI to be a 64bit only function so there isn't much that I can even get to boot.  
    Back to BCD Edit.  Anything I try to do just gives me the result of "The boot configuration data store could not be opened.  The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.".  I cannot createstore, edit the store, or do anything with it.  
    Again, i'm at wits end here.  I contacted Lenovo and it's out of warranty so they told me to pound sand.  I asked them just for a recovery media which every device should come with and **bleep** the OEMs for not doing that aymore and they told me to go pound the same mound of sand.  Help would be GREATLY appreciated.  This thing is slowly walking it's way to the trash can.  It's a mental thing at this point now and I have to get this working.  Please help.  Thank you.

    Yup, we had to do a clean install and same issue nothing will work after a stock clean install of windows 8.1 pro or 8 pro or 8n or 8.1n or any 8-1 for that mater we tried 6 loads with same issue on the IO file for the atom CPU Chipset...When you try to download the drivers from there site for the IO drivers and install it stop there and does not work with there Leveno drivers and if out of warentee they do not even care if there own leveno drivers for 8.1 do not work with 8.1 for the IO drivers on Leveno download site...When we called Microsoft they even sugest getting another tablet from another better supported MFG. WOW I own 4 Leveno products and almost got a new tablet a few nights ago but will not get any more leveno products till I research the issues they have with stock roms! Reinstalls should be much more friendly and updates should be listed correctly on the web site...They do not say it is a ported win8.0 frankinstien windows load when you buy their tablet. But they should say it is kinda windows 8.0 almost and that only there usb key will let you reaload the hack-up windows the tablet needs.

    Recently i bought lenovo tablet with windows 8.1 OS 32 bit.
    My flash project windows projector .exe file is running but i cannot able to click any buttons in that flash exe. I developed this project in AS3 and flash player 11.
    And i checked my old presentation developed in as2 it will work fine i can able to click the buttons also. I will try all but no use. Please help me to sort out this problem.

    Hallo, vor etwa einem Monat habe ich mir ein Lenovo Tablet Yoga 10 gekauft. Seit heute morgen startet das Tablet nicht mehr richtig. Es bleibt stehen, wenn der Schriftzug "Lenovo" auf dem Bildschirm erscheint. Desweiteren läd das Tablet seit heute nciht mehr richtig. Gibt es Lösungsvorschläge?

  • Support for Lenovo tablet A7-40 ?

    Hi all,
    Recently bought a A7-40 lenovo tablet since then got a few firmware update.
    Now i'd really like to know if this tablet will get an upgrade to Lollipop because it's a pretty recent tablet.
    Why Lenovo don't provide official image of the android system for each of their tablet and don't provide official roadmap of their upgrade plan ?
    Feel like Lenovo means "selling a lot of products and then drop the support".
    If any Lenovo officials stops by, a little answer would be appreciated !

    That being said...There's nothing wrong with your tablet,just got updated to Android 4.4 and Lenovo's Android 4.4 new UI=User Interface(you were running Android 4.2 before).
    On the old 4.2 UI to remove/uninstall an app you had to long press on the app's icon and drag it to that RUBBISH ICON.
    Now on the new UI(and on Android 4.4 devices in general) things are a lot simpler: Just long press on the desired app icon and then press the ''X'' situated on the upper left side of the icon.....That's it....No more ''RUBBISH ICON'' on Android 4.4 KitKat.

    Install A3000 FM tuner on S6000 - I found a link to the A3000 FM tuner software which was easily installed onto the S6000.
    I can't remember where I saw the reference - maybe on this site but google for A3000 FM tuner apk or software and you should find the article and link to the software.
    It works great and is the best FM tuner I have used, ever! Very sensitive, easy to tune with lots of preset slots for quick tuning.
    Please remember though that you must have the earphones or a link cable plugged into the S6000 earphone socket to work as an aerial. If I recall correctly, you can switch playback between earphones and the onboard loudspeakers or use the bluetooth function to transmit to offboard loudspeakers.

    Hallo X-perten!
    Ich habe ein Lenovo Tablet 2, welches bisher ohne Probleme lief. Es ist mit den Windows (8.1) und Lenovo-Updates auf dem aktuellen Stand. Auch das BIOS.
    Seit gestern jedoch funktioniert die Touch-Funktion nicht mehr. Die Stifteingabe funktioniert problemlos, ebenso alle Anschlüsse und die Programme. Aber auf Gesten reagiert das Display nicht mehr. Weder auf dem Desktop noch über die Kachelansicht. Ein BT-Maus war problemlos zu verbinden und zu benutzen.
    Im Gerätemanager steht unter den Eingabegeräten (HID) zweimal ein I2C HID-Gerät, einmal jedoch als Problembehaftet. Die aktuelle Treibersoftware ist schon installiert, jedoch konnte das gerät nicht initialisiert werden
    Unter "Geräte und Drucker" findet ich beim Tablet den Hinweis, dass eine Problembehandlung erforderlich ist. Führe ich sie durch, wird mir eine Lösung für das "Treiberproblem" angezeigt, jedoch nicht durchgeführt. Der Fehler bleibt bestehen.
    Eine Systemwiederherstellung des Systems von vor drei Wochen habe ich durchgeführt, jedoch ohne Erfolg.
    Die aktuellsten Lenovo-Treiber habe ich nachinstalliert.
    Was nun? Hat jemand noch eine Idee?

  • Lenovo Tablet Thinkpad 10

    I have recently bought a tablet, thinkpad 10. The first thing I do with new taptops is change the desktop resolution and font size.  So, on my new tablet, I selected Desktop (I have win 8.1 pro) and followed directions to increase the font size.  I chose a very large font size, expecting to be able to change it to smaller if necessary.  I can't do that - the relevant Save, Apply buttons are not visible.  Can anyone help me with this?  I need to reselect a smaller font size.

    How does one report counterfeit products (i.e. tablets) to Lenovo? All phone numbers either ring busy, not in service, or trigger an unrelated automated system. 

    should be ported by
    1-downloading source code based on cm10.1 (4.2.2) if your device support it.
    2-create a manifest file that have all repos for your levono tablet.
    3-change kernel setting to match your device.
    4-build the source to got a flashable zip.

    A DOA unit is just like returning a defective product out of the box. If you bought a product directly from Lenovo, see the Lenovo Return Policy. I also recommend you contact the Lenovo Support (1-877-453-6686) to obtain a case number and on how to go about returning the unit.
    In addition, If you bought a product via a reseller (i.e. bestbuy, staples, costco etc.), they also have policies in returning a defective unit (see Bestbuy return policy, Costco Return Policy, Staples Return Policy).
    As an alternative, you may opt to get the unit fixed thru lenovo as it will be faster than getting a replacement unit

  • Lenovo tablet A3000 doesn't charge as it powered on

    Hello
    Please I have the following strange problem with my A3000 tablet, recently as I try to cahrge the tablet while it is powered on I got the charge mark on the battery for few seconds and then it disappear and the tablet of course doesn't charge. However as I turn off the tablet and connect the charger it start to charge normally without any problem.
    Any suggestions?

    Try a forced restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).It shoud charge fine.
