Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 62z: Windows Aktivierung

Hallo,
Alte Systemdaten;
Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1
Installed from 'OEM' media.
Product ID: 00371-OEM-8992671-**** match to CD Key data
CD Key: 237XB-*****-MV8MH-*****-24367
Neue Systemdaten;
Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1
Installed from 'OEM' media.
Product ID: 00371-OEM-8992671-**** match to CD Key data (gleich wie auf altem System)
keine aktivierte Windowsversion

  • Extra ssd in Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 72 SFF

    Hi.
Is it possible to add a extra ssd disk in a Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 72 SFF?

Regarding memory - buy Samsung / Hynix / Crucial - these are what lenovo mainly uses. Don't worry about latency.
No point in buying GPU that needs 6 pin connector to use with E72. Please check if you really have 180W PSU or 280W PSU (presuming it is tower). If 280W, you are OK. If 180W you ll have to replace PSU for use with discrete graphics. I would suggest GF GTX 750 Ti (check the length). Make sure you can return parts if it doesn't work for you ...

  • Help with FN keys on my new Thinkcentre Edge E73 SFF

I bought 5 brand new Lenovo Thinkcentre Edge E73 ssf desktops.
They came with wired slim usb keyboards. The problem is that i can't switch to normal F (function keys) without holding the FN key. I searched the forum and tryed several programs but nothing changes. Nothing helps.
I also looked in the bios but there's no option for the keyboard.
Please tell me what to do?

    Hello Bstruik,
I had a similar problem 1,5 years ago with an other lenovo SFF.  This exe fixed it for me: http://support.lenovo.com/en_JP/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS032471
This link points to the win8 version of the file.  Not sure if it will work on win7 cause i haven't tested it myself.
I will need to test it in a couple of days as i also purchased a new E73SFF for a customer.
Lenovo, why is this exe not part of the default install?  Function keys are still popular in any ERP environment...
    Good luck.

  • ThinkCentre Edge 72 Fan running at 100%

    Hello,
I use a ThinkCentre Edge 72 3484 PC which CPU fan is constantly (load and idle) running at 100% speed (2500rpm). This resulsts in a very noisy working area and is very annoying. I installed the latest BIOS (F1KT63A / 21.01.2014), the latest chipset device driver (9.3.0.1020 / 16.05.2012), the latest Lenovo Desktop Power Manager (3.20.0006 / 12.12.2013), loaded Setup defaults after BIOS update and checked the C1E state (enabled, C1E only and also every other settings which I can choose) and also installed Speedfan to check the temperatures and fan-speed. The fan is running at 100% even though the CPU temperature is only at 23°C. I even opened the desktop case and checked if the CPU fan is installed correct and that all four pins of the fan connector are fine.
    Specs:
    Model: ThinkCentre Edge 72 (3484)
OS: Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 with latest windows updates
    Chipset driver: 9.3.0.1020 / 16.05.2012
    BIOS version: F1KT63A / 21.01.2014
    Lenovo Desktop Power Manager: 3.20.0006 / 12.12.2013
How do I fix this issue? Every help appreciated.

  • Thinkcentre Edge 92z (AIO) - Dead after BIOS update

Today I started Lenovo System Update to check for new updates for my ThinkCentre Edge 92z (model 3396BSG). System Update found a BIOS update. I started System Update from my Win64 Pro System.
Initially the display was showing white characters on black background. After a while a new window appeared with yellow characters on black background.
No interaction was done by me.
Some minutes later the system turned off.
I turned the system on and - nothing. The system didn´t show any startup  messages, no splash screen - nothing. During "boot" (in fact no boot at all) I was not able to enter the BIOS - the systems seems to ignore any keyboard interactions.
To my opinion something during BIOS update killed my system.
I would appreciate any hints or comments.
    Thank you and regards, Ingolf.

The machine is running again - after replacement of the system board. Thank you to Lenovo support and the technican.
    Regards, Ingolf.

No, they want swap the motherboard for free (I've also bough a 3 year additional warranty). I've to reinstall the Windows system to "proove" that it also not working correctly. And still not possible to destinguish between the 3 theoretical options listed below. Otherwise they will charge 380EUR + the price for the motherboard (guessing 200 EUR) which is not acceptable. Theoretically only the cause which are possible are:- Hardware problem
    - Driver problem
    - Windows OS problem I also uninstalled all graphic card drivers (Intel HD4600 and Nvidia GT740M driver in safe mode with Driver uninstaller). Rebooted. Afterwards with opened device manager to see the graphic card devices I was installing the latest driver package. Intel HD4600 driver installs well, when the Nvidia GT740M driver will be installed computer crashes instantly.https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-edge-laptops/thinkpad-edge-e540/downloads/DS039880

  • WinPE NIC driver for Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e (4004)

I am trying to deploy our windows image to a new group of Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e (4004) when they pxe they would just reboot.  I pxe booted again and hit f8 did an ipconfig and no network address.  I know the NIC is a relteck so I went to the
site download the nic drivers for windows 7 and imported them and updated by boot image.
    http://support.lenov...&DocID=HT073565
But I still PXE and get no ip address I am on the same vlan as my server and when I login to another computer on that port I get an IP.  So I am pretty sure I have a driver issue.  I loaded that driver in windows 7 and it is defiantly the right driver
    for the model.
Can someone help me out thanks.

  • Lenovo ThinkCentre A58-7515

    Hallo,

    Saludos Cordiales,
    Alez Curquejo

  • Thinkcentre-edge-72 PCI communication PCI simple

thinkcentre-edge-72 PCI communication PCI simple  where find this driver?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Good day and welcome to the community.
I believe that device is supported via the Intel AMT and Management Engine Interface packages, which can be found on your support site: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/thinkcentre-edge-desktops/thinkcen... in the Chipset section.
The AMT / MEI feature set is generally only useful for machines in an enterprise environment facilitating out-of-band remote management.
    Hope this helps.

  • Bios protection from infection with virus or bios recovery of Lenovo Thinkpad Edge e545

I have Lenovo Thinkpad Edge e545 laptop. Among downloads there are no bios images but only backup cd iso file. Does laptop bios somehow protected from beeing infected with virus when OS installed on laptop is infected? If not, is there a way to recover bios from usb flash? Or is there some other way to recover already infected bios without help of technical support center?

    Dear Wyacheslav1
    Welcome in lenovo community
Actually there is no relationship between the Virus and the BIOS also the BIOS cannot be infected such as the windows . So if you have any debut that your machine has been attacked by a Virus, you can install any antivirus application to scan for this virus and to protect the machine from such attack
    Thanks

  • Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z and CS5 Design Premium - will it work?

    Hello!
I am a solo in-house designer with little hardware savvy. My company is upgrading all of it's computers to the Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z and wishes to lump me in with the rest of the staff. I am assured it meets the *minimum* specs for CS5 but in speaking with other designers, I have been told it will run it but I probably won't be happy the performance. My IT department is willing to listen to any concerns I have but I want to be able to voice them in an intelligent manner and in their language. The basic specs for the system are below:
    ThinkCentre M90z series 3091
Intel Core i5-650 Processor (3.20GHz,4M Cache)
dual core hyper thread I5 650 chip that supports OGL 2.1
      Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64
      23-inch AIO 150W 85%Plus / Intel Q57 Planar / Non Touch with Camera
      4GB PC3-10600 1333MHz SoDIMM (2 DIMM)
    My daily use includes:
    InDesign
    PhotoShop
    Illustrator
    Flash
and may soon include video editing with a yet-to-be-determined software.
    Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
    Tara

For all the applications you mentioned, apart from video editing, it will do OK. For video editing (AE, EN, PR) it is woefully underspecced and does not meet minimum requirements.
For video editing you really need a much more powerful PC, think i7-950, 12 GB RAM, nVidia GTX 460+ and at least 2 but preferably 3 7200 RPM SATA disks. For a laptop, your only sensible brands are Sager or Clevo.

  • Lenovo Yoga 13 after Windows 8.1 Upgrade

After upgrading to Win 8.1, i encountered a number of problems with Audio, and Video these problems were all solved by simple driver updates but one main problem seems to persist. Whenever the screen is tilted outside of laptop mode (when in tent, presentation or tablet mode) the performance of the laptop slows down tremendously. Video and Audio playback is sluggish and the overall system runs slowly until you return it to laptop mode then everything runs smoothly. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated as i just purchased this product which was not cheap, being a student and all.
