Was nicht funktioniert? Viele Grüße Magg0

Hallo Magg0,
unter dem folgenden Link findest du die Liste für Lenovo supported systems (launched prior to July 2015) for Windows 10 Upgrade.

  • Lenovo U410 Battery Sudden Drop to 0%

    Hi guys n girls,
I just got Lenovo U410 Windows 8 in February 2013. This afternoon when i was using the laptop in power saver mode, I was able to use an hour from 60% to 48%. After checking the battery percentage when it was at 48%, 5 minutes later the low battery warning showed up saying the laptop has 6% left, then it shut down itself.
    Following are the situations:
I seldom use it and I left it for 1 week plus, and two days ago I used it for 15 minutes, and then I took it out n used it today.
I used it in power saver mode.
I was running the windows update.
    Steam was on for updating.
    I was running open office.
Is this normal ? Does this happen to others ? IS there a way to solve this ?
    Thanks

  • U410: Windows + Debian from scratch

    Hello,
I bought a Lenovo U410 (HDD: 750 GB, SDD: 32 GB, 8 GB RAM) in Germany in August last year. It was working really good until I tried to install Ubuntu on it. When I was trying to do it, I got lots of problems because of the RAID configuration (I read many users had the same problem). I wasn't able to do it, and as I needed the laptop to work and I didn't have the time to investigate how to install both operating systems without problems, I just managed after a while to reinstall Windows on the HDD. So now I'm not using in fact the SSD drive, and I even have a problem with the partitions on that drive, as you can see in the image attached.
    Link to image
Now I need to format everything again and install both Windows (with a partition for the OS and another for data) and Debian from scratch. The problem is that I'm not pretty sure how to do it properly, beacuse of the problems I had before. In fact, I don't even know which would be the best configuration (regarding partitions, RAID, OS on SSD or HDD, drivers, etc, etc...). Could anyone give me advice on this and a set of instructions to do it right? In addition, I have the drivers which came with the laptopt, but should get the new versions?
I would really appreciate your help, as I need to get this ASAP.
    Thanks in advanced!

    hi maxi_m_88,
The Lenovo U410 uses the Intel Smart Respose Technology for it's caching needs. If you want to have two partitions for data and OS with your current setup, try to:
    1. Delete the SSD volume using Disk Management to make it an unallocated space
    2. Follow this instruction on how to install Intel Smart Response Technology.
    3. When done,  Windows should now have a single Drive C:\. From here, use Disk Management to shrink the HDD into two (this partition will be for your Data).
Let me know if you get any errors
    Cheers

  • Lenovo U410 8.1 Audio Issues

I have owned the Lenovo U410 Ideapad for a decent while now and I have been consitently satisfied with its preformance. Recently I uprgraded to Windows 8.1 and it does not play any sound from any source. After some searching I found the software to fix it.
    The "Conexant Audio Driver for Windows 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit) – IdeaPad U310, U310 touch, U410,"
So of course I downloaded it, but the problem persists where sound does occur, with every 1/7 videos on Youtube, or sound lasts for moments but nothing is consistent.
Any solutions? It would be immensly appreciated.

    hi Squeaking_Lemur,
    Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Is the issue happening on local mp3 files(audio saved on your pc and not through the internet)?
Try opening Device Manager and open Sound, video, and game controllers Uninstall the conexant entry there and restart your system see if that will work.
If still non try this again

    Let me know your findings

  • Lenovo U410 SDD Fails

    Hi,
    I have a Lenovo U410 laptop with windows 8.1.
First the boot of my system was really slow (taking like 15 mins)! So I checked the forum and deinstalled expresscache and now it works faster. So I thought I'll setup Intel Rapid Start Technology, for that you have to set something in the BIOS from AHCI to RAID. When I did that my PC wouldn't boot anymore, so I changed it back.
For some reason HD Tune can't find my SSD. When I check with Windows for any errors on the ssd it says everything is fine. However, I have the feeling the SSD is useless at the moment. Can you please help me.
Thank you very much in advance.

I reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows 8.1, no changes. It still takes a hell of a time to boot up. Even flashed new bios..
Don't know how to go from here, but I think the problem is not windows, because that works fine. It's got something to do with the boot, but can't figure out what..? Please help

  • Lenovo U410 - 32GB SSD Failed

I have been running my Lenovo U410 great for a few months, but recently the 32GB SSD gave out. It isn't detected anymore and it gives me the Intel Rapid Start Technology is disabled error everytime Windows is booted. My warranty only has a few months left, but I'm in no shape to be laptopless. Also, replacing the 32GB SSD by myself voids warranty as there are Lenovo stickers on the screws to open up the back panel. I don't have many options, any suggestions what I could do? Also, is there any way to make my U410 run off completely the HDD so I can use "Sleep" when I close the lid. If it's running on "Sleep", the laptop goes to a black screen which is caused by my SSD problem. This is a VERY big problem with U310/U410 owners, but there hasn't be a consensus on a solution.

    hi Telstra,
    Thanks for Posting!
I believe the SSD is only mounted for Caching.
The system could technically run without it.
If you are to replace the SSD
Open Control Panel and Uninstall the Intel Rapid Start and the Expresscache Software.
                       then Replace your SSD.
Once Installed run the Install the Espress cache software from Lenovo Website.
    It should work.
The Warranty is valid even if you replace a part.
Only damages during the process of replacing are not.
You can refer to the system's Maintenance Manual for Disassembly.
    Regards
    Solid Cruver

  • Lenovo U410 Intel SRT technology

Good day. More recently became the proud owner Ultrabook Lenovo U410 core i3. Out of the box I was a Windows 8 64-bit. Technology Intel Smart Response (hybrid drive) has not been implemented. I decided to unleash the full potential of the laptop. To do this:
    1) I downloaded the OS Windows 8 64bit Single languarge
    2) I downloaded the driver Raid-Array (https://downloadcent...x?DwnldID=22194)
    3) Set in Bios mode Raid
    4) Carry out a "clean" installation of Windows 8 (with area ssd-drive left no marked-up)
    5) Install Intel Rapid Start Technology.
    6) Press the "Speed" - and after a few minutes was an unknown error where you are requested to reboot a computer. and try again
Trying to turn the acceleration is the third day, spent about 5 different system settings and it did not work,
What am I doing wrong - I can not understand. Someone has such a model, and how you turned this "chip".
Another question - is it possible to simultaneously use Smart Response Technology and Rapid Start Technology?

    hi razmarin,
When you installed Windows 8, did you loaded up the RAID drivers eventhough you see the HDD that are listed? (see this thread).
AFAIK, you can install both Intel Smart Response Technology and Intel Rapid Start Technology provided that the SSD can accomodate the space that it requires to run the app (Intel Smart Response uses a minimum of 18.6GB and Intel Rapid Start depends on the RAM (if you have 4GB RAM, the hibernation partition should be equal or larger than the amount of memory in the system).
    Best regards,
    neokenchi

  • U410 windows 7 slow boot times

Hello. I have had my u410 for just under a year and it use to work great! However, last March I noticed that my boot time were no where near as fast as it use to be. Before it was anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds, now it takes upwards of two minutes.
To try and fix this I just tried to reinstall windows 7. I tried the one key recover option but all it would do was boot me into a screen with a green leaf and then sit there for about a minute. There was nothing to click on here and ater a minute it would restart again and send me back to my normal desktop.
I scanned my hardrive for faulty sectors and everything with the windows error checking test (properties -> tools on the c drive) and it seemed to come back normal.
Any ideas on how to fix this or what to check? I feel like my ssd partition on the hybrid drive is not being utilized somehow.
    Thank you

Seems like the intel SRT configuration got messed up. I don't know if there's another way to get the Intel SRT working again without resorting to factory defaults, or clean install using the updated intel SRT setup guide.
My knowledge with SSD caching is limited but I recommend you to follow these threads to see if you can revive your Intel SRT configuration.

  • Lenovo U410 microphone not working

My Lenovo U410 microphone(Conexant SmartAudio HD)  isn't working. I tried a number of things from various posts but hard luck. I checked that its configured correctly. The OS is Windows 7. Could somebody help me with steps to check if its an hardware problem. Thanks.

    hi gvirmani,
    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
Just to verify, have you tried to record and playback your voice using the built-in Sound Recorder?
If the microphone levels fluctuates but you're not able to hear anything when you try to playback the recording then there's most likely a defect in the microphone and you may need to contact Lenovo for service.
Alternatively, you can try using a USB headset w/ mic or a USB camera w/ mic as a temporary replacement.

    Lenovo Ultrabook U410 Windows 7 64x   Modellname: 4376   Baudatum: 08.08.2012
    Problem:

    7. Jetzt könnt ihr das Notebook wieder einschalten.
    VG,
    Marcel

  • Lenovo u410 won't work. Boot menu/App menu pops up

So when I turn on my lenovo u410 laptop I get this menu box up as seen below in a black background. I've played around with the menu and I get nothing. This has been happening for the past few days and usually it manages to get past this and start up normally. However today is the day it's decided to stay put and I have no idea what to do. This is very frustrating as I only bought the laptop less then 2 months ago. Please help!
     It's windows 8 btw

    Hi N_A,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the Lenovo Community,
I’d like to guide you in a way to try to set the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) inside the BIOS to be the first priority booting order so we will try to return the BIOS to factory default settings:
Step1: Please turn off the machine and then at the left side you can see the NOVO button which is the button with the curve arrow
Step2: Press on the NOVO button and then you will get option press on BIOS Setup
Step3: Please press on FN+F9 together and then press Enter on Yes option and then FN+F10 to save and exit and then press Enter
Hope the information helps. Let us know.

  • Lenovo U410 - Dual Boot XP

    Hi,
I just bought a Lenovo U410 and had in mind of partitioning the 500gb hard drive in order to be able to install Windows XP.
Is it a possible configuration for the Lenovo U410?
    Has anybody ever done this?
    Did you encounter any problems?

    Hi
I dont reccomend installing windows xp on a uefi based win 8 pre installed system. I am sure you will run into problems.
Though i can understand your situation since somes programs dont work on win 8 but run on windows xp. So, you could run it on a virtual pc, so that your laptop does not get affected. Repartitioning will result in okr not working. Check this out
