Lenovo Vibe Shot - Brightness and Notification LED

Hello, I have just bought new Lenovo Vibe Shot. Phone looks very good, but I have two things, that bothers me.1) Brightness on low level on automatic mode is too low and the screen is too dim. On stock Android 5.1 is adaptive brightness, so I thing it could be also in Lenovo ROM or more options in brightness would be fine.2) Notification LED shows only charging. It could show futher notice, like missed calls, missed SMS or messages from facebook messenger or whatsapp and so on. Is it possible to built in these two things into next update of the oficial stock ROM? I don´t know, if I am here on the right place

LCD Monitor and notification LED's not working, no lid closure recognition on T500

So the subject says most of the problem, here are the symptoms:
The notebook monitor is very faint, with a flashlight in the daik it can be seen though. The monitor is not detected by either graphics card (discrete or internal).
The notification LED's (battery, Bluetooth, etc) are not responding either on the internal or the external sides. Except the Wireless icon LED works fine, blinks and everything.
When the lid is closed, there was a toggle noise and indication when switching graphics settings. Closing the lid produces no noticable reaction, either a beep or graphics readjustment.
What I've tried, with no change from the above symptoms
I was in the process of re-installing Windows 7 x64 Ultimate when this occured and have re-installed twice now. All the drivers are current.
I have checked the BIOS settings, reset them to default and have flashed the latest BIOS.
I have a feeling there is an issue with the cable not being connected or coming loose (except the wireless LED is baffling).
Any suggestions would be great and most appreciated.

One more thing, after reading some more posts and seeing common responses, I thougth I'd narrow it down a bit more. The screen is very dim, need a flashlight and a dark room, but the intro spalsh/post Lenovo screen can be seen, also I can see and interact with the BIOS configuration screen. Also I can see the "welcome to Windows" splash screen, however after that, using both internal and discrete, the screen turns green-ish and I can no longer see anything, even thought the welcome music from windows can be heard.

Auto Brightness and Notification Sound Problems

It seems after I upgraded to iOS6, my auto brightness as well as the "click" sound when I shut my smartcover is no longer working. Also, it seems as if my notification sounds are not working properly either. I've checked my settings and everything is on as it should be. Oh, and I'm experiencing this on the new iPad 32GB. HELP!!!!

I, too, am having difficult is with my Galaxy S6 contact specific message tone as well as vibration pattern. I have multiple LED colors for different items. I use the fingerprint for security and no issues there. Sure hope Verizon comes out with an answer soon. Don't like the Samsung message app, but may be forced to use it, so I can signify different vibrations/tones.

Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro getting restart always

I am using Lenovo Vibe Z2 pro and this phone gets restart automatically regularly. I am getting very fed up and even tried factory data reset but this error is coming again.
Phone automatically goes for shut down and then blue light comes up in LED, I will be honest here and I have mussed atleast four to five meetings by not waking up on time as fone was shutdown automatically.
I am attaching sreenshot of the setting page, please see and let me know the resoltion asap else I might need to switch to any other brand by selling Lenovo.

Did you had this issue from day 1 ?
Could be a software issue(the OS isn't installed correctly) or may be a hardware issue.
You should take it to a Lenovo service center for a check-up.Your warranty should cover this.

Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro getting restart automatically.

I am using Lenovo Vibe Z2 pro and i have observed from last couple of week this phone gets restart automatically and then it's shows one sign in the top up of the screen, this sign is with the phone and red bubble in the secure icon.
Can anybody help me to understand and fix this problem ?

The phone is DSDS(Dual Sim/Dual Standby) not DSFA(Dual Sim/Full active).

Lenovo Vibe X2 notification

hi,
i have a questions about lenovo vibe x2..
i've tried to enabled notification on lenovo vibe x2 but i got the problem with this LED notification that if i have a message from Whatsapp and BBM the LED notification only blink once(can't repeat blinking). What is the problem with my lenovo vibe X2? i haven't root and using the last version of ROM(Updated over OTA).

I suppose you're referring to the ''What's DOS?'' under your username.It's a sort of ''clasification'' that reflects your participation in the forum ....You're a ''junior member''(you registered recently & have only 3 posts till now).The system has given you ''this status'' automatically.If you're more active,help others,etc...you're status will change.

Auto Reboot and blue screen on Lenovo vibe z2 pro (k920)

Hi!I created a theme en Russian forum, but the problem is not solved. Repair and replacement of the motherboard authorized service center does not solve the problem.The phone automatically restarts randomly about once a day. Some people frequently. Hello Lenovo team, I have the same issue. Took the phone to the authorized service center in Jayanagar, Bangalore, India. They replaced the display and told me that the issues was resolved. The reason for blue screen and restart was mentioned as overheating due to excessive use of 3G connectivity. I was suggested by the authroized service staff to minimize my 3G connectivity usage. In the process of replacing the display, i am left with no company provided screen guard either. I come back home and the very next day the issue appears again. It restarts with blue screen every 2 minutes. The same way as before. Now the WiFi is permanently disabled as well. Cannot activate the soft button itself from the drop down menu.I am very disappointed. I paid a good price to buy the phone expecting good performance, durability and reliability. I had definitely not expected the phone to have such major functional issues within the first 6 months of purchase. I am only hoping that Lenovo understands the seriousness of the issue and provides me a replacement for the phone. I do have some videos of the issue, if it helps you in resolving the issue.

Has anyone else had issues with the notification led and flash?

the flash will flicker on only the right led then no activity after that, i have tried using it in the camera app and a flashlight app, also i dont see any color/light from the notification led that i have setup in messaging. has anyone else had this issue and solved it?

Try a Power Cycle.. Press and Hold the power button till your Turbo shuts off then re-powers itself after doing this retry using the Led flash with your camera

[Vibe X2] Notification LED blinking permanently

After a very short time of usage the notification LED started blinking in green and it continues like this nonstop even when there are no new messages unless I disable notification for mesages. This is really frustrating as I used to rely on the LED on other phones.
I did factory reset and the issue repeated. The icon blinks also after I go to Applications/Running applications and I stop all. Anyone has same experience? This seems like a very annoying bug.

Z90-7 Vibe Shot Brick - need your help

Hi, My name is Ricardo from México, I accidentally brick my vibe shot (I did a factory reset ... then. when the phone show 'Initializing' I turn it off)... Now only do bootloops and no matter what rom I flash it get stuck in that 'Initializing' screen and go back to Lenovo start screen. I tried with Miflash - eemcDownload and QFil, and with z90-7 root, stock and 5.1 rom...so Im literally hopeless...But some people says that it happens because it doesnt have 'modem' or signal bands, so I look on internet and that can be restored with QPST but I need the qcn file If some of you guys can upload here one of your qnc backup file (it ends with *.qcn ) (you can directly get that file from the recovery ) my vibe shot can live again Please please please, I really love this phone.Thank you so much and sorry for my bad english. Not able to connect to wifi wpa2 networks in lenovo vibe x2. It displayed saved.but not connecting. It connects to open and WEP wifi networks. Please help

Are you trying to connect to a 2.4GHz or a 5GHz network?
What encryption is your router set to use : AES,TKIP/AES,..?
Have you tried to unplug the router from the power source for 2-3 minutes->Plug it back in-> Wait until it establishes an Internet connection-> Try to recreate the phone connection.

Brightness and contrast buttons on monitor is not working

I have a lenovo 3000H series desktop. Suddenly the brightness and contrast button on the monitor has stopped working. Please help.

Yes, I did restore it twice plugging it on the computer and using itunes and the hold/sleep/power off button wont still respond.
No matter how long I push it, it won't do anything so the screen or device won't shut off.
Everything else is working fine.

this update seems more like downgrade rather than upgrade...

it not a problem .. it works perfectly..the thing u need to do is goto settings>llights>light effects to on . thats it ... if still it doesnt work then take ur phone to customer care

i have a 24" LED display hooked up to a macbook pro. the F1 and 2 keys adjust the brightness on my laptop display, which is dandy, and i can open the display preferences and adjust the slider for brightness on the LED display, but i'd love a keyboard shortcut. is there one? thanks!

There used to be a way in the old Quicktime to adjust the color or brightness of a video if it was too dark to view. It seems this functionality has completely gone away. Why?

My suggestion is to install the dual 32-/64-bit version of QT 7 and use it when you wish to access the A/V control panel. Both QT X and QT 7 can be installed/used simultaneously on the same Snow Leopard system. The QT structure is already embedded in your OS and only requires installation of the QT Player 7.6.6 for Mac OS X.6.3 and later. Note that the QT 7 Player is installed in your "Applications/Utilities" folder and should be left there to ensure proper updates. Also, if you have a valid QT 7 "Pro" key, you can key this player for "Pro" use.
