No,unfortunately the S960 dosen't support 4G.

Hello Everyone,
I am Rohit from India but recently moved to new Zealand. I have been fan of lenovo since 2008 when I purchased first laptop Lenovo 3000 Y 410. after that I have recently imporated Lenovo vibeX S960 phone.
It was started and working well initially. but one day the message pop up about upgrade the firmware.
I have updated it to Kitkat 4.4.2. After that I have been constantly getting message " unfortunatly the process com.android.phone has stopped working".
I have tried factory reset few times but the error has not been removed.
I am annoyed by this problem.
Kindly give me solution. pls

try this: settings/appsswype to left until you reach ALL tab.scroll down to Phone icontap ittap on clear datatap on force stopreboot your device then try again with SSID code, if it still crash, only a factory reset probably will fix the issue.

Problems with the Lenovo Vibe x S960

I had bought Lenovo vibe x Almost 1 month ago and I am Experiencing lot of problems with this phone.
Although having a 1.5Ghz processor it lags in many apps and games like asphalt 8, fast n furious, robocop etc.
experienced lot of problems especially with the battery and earphones.
The earphones button doesnt work to pause/play music.
It says "try again when you're online"
Why do i have to be online to Play/Pause music.
Btw my earphone had also screwed up.
After using it for a while the right side had stopped working.
Once i had charged it to 100% and then i removed charger and locked screen and then it stopped working.
Didnt switch on again.
Sent for repair and they tell me its working.
After receiving from service it stopped working again.
When connected to wifi or data usage, it restarts automatically sometimes.
Cannot boost wifi usage well, slows down wifi speed if others are using the wifi on their phones. My phones wifi slows, but others' phones still work.(embarrassing).
Takes long time to turn on data and get connected to cellular networks.
Dont feel like buying any lenovo product in future.
Also it was very difficult to find support for lenovo phones.
Take my advice DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

After update android KitKat, my device having a lot of problem like:
Bluetooth software missing, Wi-Fi connection problem, Screen always hang.
That, I had reset to factory setting but Android KitKat still no don't change. After reset, my device show Your Device on metamode. Then it come missing some ROM file and corrupted.

Lenovo s960 vibe x language problem

1) i have some problem with my lenovo s960, all apps are in chinese language. i cant change it to fully english. please anyone can give me a step by step tutorial how to make my lenovo fully english language?? (lenovo store and game centre)
2) when lenovo store show me the update to other app, then i update it. after the update done and install, the apps turn to chinese language again.

Cant find my wifi router in wifi list @ lenovo s960

i bought new lenovo s960 two days ago 1st day it connected with my wifi and worked perfectly but yesterday its not even showing in my wifi list. turned off my phone my wifi but cant find it. wifi working perfectly at my friend's phones even at my laptop but cant find in here

I am using lenovo vibe x s960 for the last 8 months.Recently there is a problem for using whatsapp, this app can't open and shows a message " unfortunately whatsapp has stopped".Reinstalled many times,but the problem is there.how to solve this problem??

Hola , he conseguido hacer que vuelva a recobrar la cobertura, aunque no tengo muy claro como.Os voy a explicar todo lo que he hecho a ver si lo podéis hacer y os funciona.Le he flasheado el Recovery TWRP para S960 , He hecho un BACKUP , con la intención de flashear otra ROM,al acabar el Backup he reinicidado el sistema para poder pasar a la memoria el zip de la ROm para flashearlo y le he instalado el SUperusiario( ya que antes de reiniciar el sistema te dice si deseas flashearlo) .He reinicido el teléfono, he actualizado Superuser, entonces me ha comenzado a pedir permisos de superuser y todo eso , pero con la grata sorpresa, que aunque ha tardo un poquito, me ha acabado piendo el pin para poder utilizar la SIM.Hasta ahora creo que llevaré como unos 8 o 9 reinicios para comprobar que no vuelva el fallo, y por ahora , todo correcto.Espero que os sirva, y si tenéis alguna duda en el proceso , no dudéis en preguntar. PD: Al darle permiso de super usuario al antivirus que viene por defecto ( Security de Lenovo), pues ha empezado a bloquear accesos de aplicaciones , por lo que le he quitado el permiso, después de esto , he vuelto a reiniciar y ahora el fallo se volvía a repetir, por lo que he vuelto a conceder todos los permisos de super user al antivirus y entonces he dado acceso a las aplicaciones una a una dentro del entorno del antivirus , en el apartado de vigilancia de privacidad . Podría deberse el problema a que el Security de Lenovo, por alguna razón , no da permiso para acceder a la Red de la SIM? Saludos a todos

Lenovo Vibe X( S960) hangs on while uploading the images into Whatsapp.

Hi ,
I purchased the Vibe x(S960) 3 days back and when I try to upload photos in the Whatapp, mobile hangs and not even able to come out of that problem. Needs to wait until battery gets dry. ( some time I have wait for more than 3 hours to battery gets dry).. please have a look into this ASAP and let me know if you have any fix for the problem.
If no fix is exist. please provide me the some temprory fix atleast.

Lenovo s960 secureit password

Please help !!
i bought lenovo S960 vibe X and some features in Secureit is asking for the 6 digit password ... i dont know it as Secureit application was already installed on the device . what can i do ??

The issue was solved. I was using the numpad and when I put the password I used the numbers in "regular keyboard". I didn't know it's difference to digit a 9, for example, using the numpad and the "regular keyboard".

FLAC support Lenovo S960 / Vibe X

Hi,
I recently put some of my music on my new phone, Lenovo S960 / Vibe X.
My player is Mort player, for audio format support it states: "Plays all media types supported by core Android (MP3, Ogg Vorbis, M4A, 3GP, MIDI, Wave) and some device specific (WMA, FLAC), but only on devices which support them"
Now... my FLAC files do not play .
I hope I'm wrong, it's something I would have never expected, but it seems that my phone does not support FLAC???
Can somebody give definite information here, I can not find exhaustive specs on my phone anywhere?

Boot Stuck Lenovo s960 Vibe X

Got problem with my Vibe x s960 i just notice that my mobile fone was stuck already and it only shows "LENOVO". I've tried to restart it but it doesn't continuing after the "LENOVO" appears it already stuck there. I tried also the Hard Reset, it was successful but when it was rebooting it doesn't continuing again. How can i resolved this issue? Please Help.. Thanks

If you want to use GMS(Google services like the Play store) ->install THIS on your phone(First download the .apk to your PC and then transfer it to the phone's internal memory) ->allow unknown sources in settings/security->install the .apk and follow the in-app instructions(open the app->Install Recommended->''Click to install'' the 3 orange tabs->reboot).

Lenovo S960 Sim Card Problem

Yesterday i bought a Lenovo S960, but when I inserted the micro sim card the network connection keeps on coming on and off. What is the problem please? Thanks in advance

Can you check these settings under BIOS
Pressing F1 on Lenovo Splash screen when turned ON should get you to BIOS page.
Security Tab:
Secure Boot = Disabled
Boot Tab:
Boot Mode = Legacy (if applicable)
Boot Priority = Legacy First (if applicable)
CSM = Enabled

Lenovo S960 Touch Screen Issue

Hello everyone,
I just have one concern on S960 Vibe X model of Lenovo smartphone.
Can someone help or advise why the touchscreen do not respond whenever I connect it to charger?
To elaborate, I can't use or I can't click or select any button (or applications) of my phone when I connect it to charger.
Can anybody advise if you also encountered this problem?

I have received your issue yesterday and then I tried my best to solve your problem, I verified all the most version of S960 and did not reproduce your problem . So I think the issue which occured to your phone maybe corner case . I suggest you'd better go to the Lenovo service center and ask them to help you solve the problem.

¿Ya has intentado reiniciar el equipo?
Quizá sea alguna modificación al equipo, aunque esta claro que siempre hay un desgaste en lo físico, pero si puedes brindar algunas comparaciones (capturas de tu pantalla) podremos darnos cuenta del problema y dar alguna respuesta clara.
