Lenovo Yoga 8 Tablet stuck on boot screen

Hello!I have a Lenovo Yoga 8 Tablet and today I can't turn it on. It sticks on boot screen. I tried to factory reset but nothing changed. Any help?

Think I got it sussed ... now if I can only remember how I did it !!Several posts on this forum had the problem with it stuck on the Lenovo splash screen and Fumangord1 on here mentioned "If you hold the volume buttons in and hold the power switch it should give you the boot options. Select the recovery mode with the up volume button then press the down volume to ok it. Mine comes upo with the android icon and NO COMMAND." Well, I tried this and got the same BUT went a bit further with it, just by pressing buttons in a random fashion ...When the Android robot icon comes up with NO COMMAND, I think I then pressed the ON button and another Boot drop down menu popped up.I think I tried this next bit twice,but can't remember which one worked, but just have a play with the new options to see which one works for you !?First I think I selected the top one which is something like REBOOT and I then the second time I tried the bottom option which is something like WIPE CACHE and hey presto .. . it now works with every app and setting intact !I'm only going by what I remember doing - it might not be quite right, but at least there does seem a way round the issue ! God know's why Lenovo themselves don't reply to these posts and tell us how to fix their bloomin' machines !!?? Good luck everyone !

just reflash with intel's phone flash tool, and all is getting back to stock. no need to clean or other stuff... just select the flash.xml (not others xml). if you peek inside the file you will see that he is creating and formatting the partitions again so whatever was on your emmc (tablet's equivalent hd) is gone. as long as you didnt mess around with bios reflashing with that xml will get you back in time to the place you were when you first started your tablet (assuming you are flashing the same rom)Lenovo implemented Secure Boot (or as we know it better as 'locked bootloader') so as long you didn't mess with bios (and i don't think you did) theres no way anyone could tell that the tablet was rooted sometime. the rooting method used now is "online" after the secure boot has done his job of starting the kernel.not my case coz i will sodomize my bios to bypass the secboot (i want to install linux and windows, just for fun, and this tablet would be fun for me running linux and a chroot with android, so that I WILL SECURE BOOT android ) and anyways i can get back anytime (worst case i have a flash burner)

HT4623 My phone is stuck on booting screen!

When i remotely updated my phone , It restarted it and it was stuck on the booting screen. I pluged it into my computer , And it gave me the option to restore , So I just tried to restart it again and it was stuck in booting screen so i decided better to restore my phone than have a brick , So I plugged it back in to my computer and my computer dosent recognize my phone at all. What can I do?

I was able to fix it by putting my phone in DFU mode by holding the sleep button for 4 seconds , and without realeasing the sleep button holding them both for 12 seconds and then without releasing the home button letting go of the sleep button and holding for 10 seconds or until my computer saw it (My phone was plugged in the entire time)

Под win8, с встроенным wwan модемом, у Lenovo нет такой утилиты.

На сайте ms не может быть прошивок модема Sierra, только MBIM драйверы для него. Но они входят в состав ОС. Так о чем речь?
То, что я вижу - тип прошивки в модеме, как и предполагалось, IA7160 - не позволяет обновить ее известными мне версиями с сайта Lenovo. В различных сборках для модемов em7345 есть прошивки только типа FIH7160. Причина, почему до сих пор не публикуется обновленная версия прошивки и драйверов для планшетов Yoga, мне не известна.
Единственное, что остается сделать - установить MBIM драйверы от Sierra, от практически такого же модема, устанавливаемого в ноуты и планшеты ThinkPad. Поскольку в данном случае драйверы ОС проблему решить не могут.

При установке, после распаковки сборки на диск, необходимо выбрать Custom (!) режим установки. В открывшемся окне выбрать установку только драйверов MBIM, отказавшись от установки GNSS драйверов (если я ничего не путаю, в планшете Yoga чип позиционирования отдельный, а не встроенный в em7345; уточните это, пожалуйста, проверив ветку Датчики в диспетчере устройств) и утилиты обновления прошивки. Ни в коем случае не устанавливайте утилиту прошивки, иначе при перезагрузке планшета прошивка модема обновится, а она в данной сборке несовместима с модемом. В итоге получите кирпич вместо модема. К драйверам это не относится.
После установки драйверов через несколько минут CDC устройство должно смениться на "нормальное", с "Sierra em7345" в описании. И проблема с sim картой должна пропасть.

Bei Windows 10 von rechts über das Display streifen. Im sich öffnenden Menü "Verbindungen" klicken (ich glaube so heißt das). Mein LG TV wurde dann gefunden und ich konnte mich verbinden.

My Lenovo s10 is Stuck on Startup Screen

Hey Guys,
My computer s10 is stuck on lenovo boot sceen after a factory restore. After the full restore i had the screen for choosing language etc and after that my laptop resart alone and stuck on the screen .... Tried rebooting, took out the battery, tried it pluged in, unpluged and it keeps stopping at the startup screen. I pressed all the key f12 etc but nothung happenning Any suggestions?
I tryed to call the support but they tolded me that they can help me because my computer is out of waranty.

Lenovo vibe z2 stuck on opening screen

Hey everbody today here is my problem
today when i was using the phone i pushed to power button to long aftee that my phone shutted up

What does it mean "stuck at the opening screen"? Make sure you charge your phone and when fully charged try to start it again. Should work. If it does not, and you are stuck on the boot screen you most likely need a recovery mode, but be warned that a recovery mode would most likely delete all your data. Maybe this can help:

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ cracked glass

I accidentally dropped my 3 month old Yoga Tablet 10 HD+, model number B8080-F. Everything is working fine except for the cracked glass. Called local repair shops but were told tablet is quite new and no one has replacement glass part. Tried calling Lenovo tech support but tech I would have to send it in and pay $99 for them to look at it to determine how much it would cost to replace the glass. If I choose not to repair it after they provide a quote, I would still have to pay the $99. Are any alternatives besides paying $99 to get a quote? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or solutions!

I am guessing from the lack of responses, that you had no luck in getting an answer to this question. I am not shocked. This just happened to me a couple of days ago and now I come to find out that support for this product is a joke. The support website is also a joke. I tried finding somewhere to take it to get it fixed and after entering my - Model #- S/N- Birthdate- TAX ID #- Mother's maiden name- Shoe size ... and agreed to list all of my personal information for Lenovo to resell for a profit, I got a list of links to documents I can find easily through the normal links as well as phone numbers and "Live Chat" links to sales people who can not help me. Only sell me stuff. Thanks. I can't even find a list of authorized service centers local to me so I can get it fixed without voiding my warranty (Yes, I followed the previusly posted link as well as search every Lenovo website I could find). By the way, I can not extend the warranty beyond the initial 1 year. Really? ** Basically, I purchased a very expensive disposable tablet at a premium product/service price. Shame on me for not doing my research properly before spending my hard earned money. ** I found replacement glass with digitizer on ebay for $80US but as technical as I am, I do not have the appropriate tools workspace or patience to replace it myself. Also, I doubt I could put the thing back together after I get it apart judging by the videos of the repair I saw. I am so annoyed at myself I just wanted to vent. I have ***ZERO*** hope that this post will lead to any real assistance. Never buying another Lenovo product again without ensuring that the warranty is good and extendable, that there are autorized service centers available in my area and that the product has an actual support eco-system. Their ThinkServer series is the complete opposite of this experience so I guess I should not have relied on that experience to judge. Too bad, the product is superior to anything out there in so many ways. Only thing lacking in my view is proper screen technology so colors look more normal and a protective case offering (which would have avoided this whole issue in the first place). Hmmm, maybe that is their plan all along ... Buy-Drop-Replace-CHA-CHING!!!

I was trying to install an android system update. Now the tablet loops.The installation of the system update stops at appr. 40% - then the tablet restarts.I war trying to do a reboot, but as soon as I restart the system the installation of the upate starts again and also the loop.Anyone can help me to solve this problem.I data will be lost not the problem, but any chance to get into the reset menue? I have the same problem.After a few tries the tablet somehow booted. But then after a reebot it was only saying "Fehler". Then i reeboted again and now on the boot screen there is a error massage which says something like: efilinux error...Reset source couldn't be retrieved. Falling back to.....Then the tablet starts, but in fact i get one error massage after another. The google keyboard crashes, it says that i have to reinstall google+, bluethooth stopps working. Even a factory reset could't help.

Curve 9300 Doesn't start. Stucks at boot screen

Hi,
I've got a brand new Curve 9300 less than a week ago. I've updated it's OS to version 6, and it worked perfectly.
When I attempted to configure my email, it automatically asked to update with my carrier's email setup software. I just chose ok. I got three warning messages, which I don't exactly remember but it was about something may not function correctly (regarding to version difference). I just continued installation, and it asked for a reboot.
When I rebooted the mobile, it goot stuck at the boot screen. Then nothing! The thin status bar bellow BlackBerry's logo fills up until it's full, then nothing happens. When I wait for longer time (a few minutes), I get a message on a white screen with a tiny font with "App Error 606", with one option of 'RESET'.
I pulled out the battery and restored it a few times, nothing different.
Notes:
The LED does not do anything, except for a single red blink when it reboots
The keboard seems to be responsive. I get the Alt and Shift indicators in the top right corner when I press them
The power button doens't seem to cause any response
I appreciate your help.
Edit: The Desktop Software shows that the device is not connected, even though it's attached to the USB cable.
Edit: The Alt-Shift-Del combination causes the system to go to a blank white screen with that "app error" mentioned above

Help! Stuck on boot screen (no spinning) after Lion upgrade.

Did an install of Lion on husbands week and a half old macbook pro 15". Right as I started the installation I had to get up to help my little one go back to bed. Briefly checked the progress of the install when I got back to the computer, still had some time left so I went to watch TV. Got up to see the boot screen up and decided to give the install more time just in case. It's now been about 2-3 hours on the boot screen. What should I do. I should mention the drive already has a bootcamp partition as well as the SL partition. Please help! I'm really hoping I didn't break his new computer (Tech really isn't his thing so it's up to me).
This is the screen I'm stuck on. Cursor works but that's it.

Re-starting and re-installing from the bootable drive I made seems to have fixed the issue. I'm performing a disk and permission repair now in disk utilities as a precaution now. Reinstall from disk took forever. Unfortunately didn't have any available USB or Firewire drives to try an alternate means of install.
