Lenovo z40-70 navegación inestable

Hola hace dos semanas tengo mi laptop y tengo problemas con la navegacion. Aun cuando aprece como conectado a la red, no puedo navegar.
El problema es solo cuando estoy conectdo por wifi. Los otros equipos conectados a la red no presentan problemas.
La solucion momentanea es desconectarme de la red y volver a conectarme.
El indicador de estado de coneccion aparece full conectado y sin simbolo de alerta.-
Espero alguien tenga algun sugerencia.-

escribes: ipconfig /release
Enter
escribes: ipconfig /renew
Enter
exit
Reinicia el equipo
-Windows 8 no podrá conectarse a algunos enrutadores Cisco
-No tener conectado el cable de red cuando la conexion inalambrica esta activada.

As per the query we understood that you are looking for battery upgrade in your Lenovo Z40-70 laptop.
As per the specification of this model it has supports 4 cell battery hence the upgrade of the battery may not be possible, as you have mentioned about the low battery backup try to perform the battery gauge, to perform the gauge reset go to energy manager select maintenance guide under this option select reset option under gauge reset perform this and check for the issue.

Lenovo z40 screen not working

I have acquired a brand new lenovo z40 one month ago, and recently the screen began to constantly flicker. I have restarted the computer several times and ran a virus scan. I would like to know if this is a hardware or software problem, and how to fix it.

From your failure description it sounds like you have a hardware failure it rests between the LCD Panel/ Module, or LCD cable. Please contact Lenovo Support and send it to a Lenovo repair depot so that we can take a further look into it and replace the defective parts in a timely manner ! Cheers

Si tienes un procesador i5-4210U la frecuencia mínima es de 1.7GHZ variable a 2.7 GHz, como bien mencionas es automático el cambio y esto es influenciado por la carga de trabajo que necesites procesar en ese momento.
Por ser procesador I5 no quiere decir que sea de los mejores, el que tu tienes esta por encima del promedio, donde puedes realizar varias actividades.
Considero que la lentitud es asociada a otro problema si puedes dar mas detalles se puede entender que tratas de manifestar con la referencia que das sobre lentitud.
Lenovo tiene su centro de llamadas para atencion a garantia, números al final en mi firma para poder contactarlos.

First Make sure that your Resolution is in the highest settings.
Select the DPI settings to the Medium or the Middle option.
Then Try to run the Cleartype wizard.

Lenovo z40-70

Basically, my laptop won't turn on anymore. Whether it's plugged in or not, with the battery in or out, nothing is happening. Within the past few months I've called Lenovo service twice regarding the laptop not charging. They've sent me a new adapter and new battery and it worked decently but it still charged super slow everytime. Recently I noticed that it took a while after I plugged it in for the laptop to actually recognize that it was plugged in to start charging. Unfortunately the battery life went to zero yesterday and I haven't been able to turn it on since. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated!

I would recommend that you contact Lenovo Support again for warranty service as it sounds like you have a hardware issue.

Complaint to Lenovo main company!

To: Lenevo Quality AssuranceFrom: Customer (Bahrain - ME) Subject: Complaint on Lenovo's Dealer in Bahrain [ Ensure shop ]. I have faced a very disappointing experience with lenovo dealer in Bahrain [ Ensure shop ] when I faced few problems with my 9 months Z40 tablet. The problem in the tablet was few pixels errors and a mouse pad that gets crazy sometimes. I have informed the dealer [ Ensure shop ] not to format the laptop or do a major change without a permission from me as my laptop include many important data related to my education. However, after recieving an SMS stating that my tablet is ready to be collected. I went to the shop to find out that the dealer [ Ensure shop ] did not fix the screen pixels, and all what they have done is changing the internal hard disk that include my data. I resubmitted the tablet to the agent in order to fix the screen, and again when I went to recieve the laptop the second time, I have found out that there is still 1 pixels not been fixed yet ! Beside all these inefficiencies from a dealer [ Ensure shop ] for a company like lenovo, the dealer rejected to provide me with both the hard disks, so I can transfer the information from the old hard disk to the new one, and in order to get the old one for few days, I have to pay over 100$ ! I told the dealer [ Ensure shop ] to transfer for me the information from the old hard disk to the new one by their self so I dont have to pay the 100$ insurance, but they rejected and asked me to pay fees for transferring the data. So, now, I did not only lost my university data, but also my anti virus, Microsoft office, and the original tablet softwares. All these I have to re-instal them and find the activation keys for it! Additionally, I contacted the dealer trying to get both hard disks for few days and the agent rudely rejected using very unprofessional words. Later, I contacted the manager, hoping to get a better result, but unfortunately the manager was even worse and he was blaming me that I should have backed up my files. Ignoring the fact that I have informed and warned the agent before handling over my tablet. I bought my Lenovo Z40 tablet as I heard that lenovo is one of the top tablets with high quality and affordable prices, but I was shocked that such a rude and unprofessional dealer is used by lenovo. Furthermore, I can feel my Tablet became much slower than before comparing to an i7 tablet ! so I believe that something illegal was done in regard to changing the product original equipments. Finally, I hope my voice being heard and reach lenovo main company, as it is obvious that contact managers of Bahrain's Lenevo's dealer is useless! So PLEASE do help me, you have my contact details and you are free to contact me directly. At the end of the day, your retailer should cover you, it's their responsibility as a reseller to deal with you at least as a middle-man. I'd stick with them and bug them.

Ventilador lenovo Z-40 70 dejo de funcionar

Recientemente mi equipo lenovo Z40-70 dejo de funcionarle el ventilador, como estoy seguro de esto pues con la opcion de elminacion de polvo del energy manager al accionarla el ventilador no responde no suena, tambien he notado que la temperatura del chasis por asi decirlo ha aumentado sin estar con programas que requieran mucho procesamiento alguna idea de que pueda ser, como arreglarlo si pasarlo por garantia practicamente el equipo es nuevo tiene 4 meses muchas gracias

Hola, yo tengo un notebook z40 y después de la actualización de windows 10 el microfono no funciona como antes. Mi voz sale como se fuera con ruidos de una tele con problemas de sonido. Yo no se o que hacer, estoy intentando cambiar el volume y todo, pero no se arregla.

Problema con conexión TV por HDMI Z0 70

Hola Hace una semana adquirí un Lenovo Z40-70 con Windows 8.1 y GPU Nvidia Geforce 820M y no he logrado conectar mi TV con este computador por medio del cable HDMI. Ya actualicé la BIOS y los drivers de video y no logro que mi TV muestre alguna imagen o sonido. Aclaro que el problema no está en el cable o en el TV dado que ambos los puedo utilizar con mi computador anterior sin ningún contratiempo. Mi notebook reconoce el TV y puedo clonar y expandir el escritorio con ta tecla F10 o desde las propiedades de pantalla, pero aún así, no logro obter una imegen en mi TV. Les agradezco la ayuda que me puedan dar dado que no encuentro ninguna solución para este tema. Saludos

Hola Miguel. Gracias por la bienvenida. Despues de realizar varias pruebas con varios TV de diferentes marcas, logré conexión con un Samsung Smart TV, lo cual descartó a mi juicio daño en el puerto HDMI del PC. Sin embargo, el puerto HDMI solo funciona cuando conecto el PC al TV utilizando el puerto VGA, clono la pantalla, desconecto el cable VGA del PC y luego conecto el cable HDMI del PC al TV. De esa forma, el PC reconoce el TV y proyecta imagen y sonido aunque con problemas de dimensión de imagen. Este proceso debo realizarlo siempre si deseo utilizar el puerto HDMI. En mi opinión, el problema continua siendo de drivers pero ya tengo la ultima version de los mismos y no sé que mas hacer. Estoy esperando la actualización a Windows 10 para validar si la falla se corrige. De lo contrario, la unica alternativa que veo para corregir el problema es instalar windows 7. Necesitaré una revisión de mi Lenovo en el servicio de garantía? que otra altertavica puedo utilizar? Gracias y saludos

Problems with the touch pad z40

I have an almmost new z40 (bought it in march) and just yesterday the buttons of the mouse pad stopped working. The mouse runs over the desktop perfectly but I can't click on anything either with the left button.

One way to isolate the problem if it is a Software settings or a Hardware problem,
Check the functionality of the Touchpad inside the Recovery Mode
Try booting the system into Recovery Mode.
Turn OFF the computer and Press the OKR Button, Select Recovery
While on the Recovery where the mouse pointer is available, Try checking the touchpad buttons by click the Next or Cancel.
If it will still won't respond, You might need to contact Lenovo Technical Team for Hardware assistance.

Can I return my Lenovo S 205 ?

Hi guys, I have had a multitude a problems since owning my Lenovo S 205 some 8 months ago.
I got the laptop via Laptops Direct, an online laptop store.
The first problem I experienced was when the laptop kept on shutting down on its own quite a few times. This I later discovered was because the laptop battery had a tendency to become loose sometimes.
The second problem was when it began to freeze after I installed another version of MS Office.
The third problem was when it lost its bluetooth capabilities, although the bluetooth device had been detected as present.
I managed to get the second and third problems fixed by a friend. However, after two weeks, the two problems have returned...TA-RAAA !
I can only recommen other people to stay away from Lenovo right now !
Does anyone know if I can return my Lenovo laptop and get a refund for it, so I can get something else like a Toshiba or an Asus ? Thanks very much !

sorry to say that but refund is not possible at this point. have you tried to contact lenovo support line to ship it back to service for your issues?

Can I return my new laptop to lenovo because of its quality problem?

IBM is one of the best brand as I know, especially showing us not only high quality of products but the service.
But now one thing happened to me, if I don't have this case I can't believe. I found there is something with the laptop(T61 Model 7658CTO) the same day when I got the new laptop on June 3rd, 2008. Then I call 800, a lot of 800 calls,at last I were told that I should contact send it back first if I were to get another new one. Three days later I got the box sent by Lenovo, and I return it back in terms of what the paper shown.
Unfortunately the problems of the laptop still exist when I turn on my laptop after it repaired. What's wrong with my laptop, this is new one, I think IBM should provide high quality products.
I don't know how to describe the weird sound , it sounds like two or more micphone opened clost to each other. It is very harsh.
I want to get one new laptop from Lenovo because of the quality of product and customer service or can I return the laptop?
I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

I did it last week because I bought an iPhone 4 as a wedding gift but then I changed my mind and wanted an iPad, so the bride could use it together with the groom (while the phone is personal).
I returned the iPhone to the apple store and I paid the difference to buy the 32GB iPad, no problems
I didn't opened the case, but the guy at the apple store told me I could have returned the phone even if it was opened. It must be undamaged tough.

Lenovo AIO C440 - not working infrared remote control

Hello,
is there any hint how to get infrared remote control working for a new C440 model? Tomorrow I will try to measure and/or replace batteries which could be bad. For now it is totally not working.
Another question: the remote should work only within AverMedia TV app or in the whole Windows 8?

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
The IR Windows Media Center remote control is for use with C440 models with optional TV tuner. If you have this model, make sure the TV Tuner driver and the ITE CIR Driver from the lenovo support site are installed under Device Manager (press Windows Key+R then type devmgmt.msc) then follow the Set up a TV signal in Windows Media Center. guide.
Note:
You must have Windows 8 PRO to enable Windows Media Center
