Leopard Asked Access To Old HD, Now Can't Use Old Login After Boot

Upgraded internal HD, and moved old one to a firewire external enclosure. Old HD booted and ran just like before, and I went forward to installing a fresh new Leopard build in the new internal HD.
When booting off new Leopard on internal HD, it asked me I would like access to the old one. Sure, why not?
Now when booting off the old HD (Firewire), Leopard doesn't show the old users anymore. I have to pick the new user from the new Leopard build. ?? I didn't know I blew away access to the old HD
Repairing permissions w/Disk Utility didn't do the trick, neither did "repair disk". Tried both those tricks off the Leopard DVD, no dice. Anyone know a fix?

No Migration Assistant was run. Just running the old drive as a bootable external one, then I manually installed Leopard on the new internal HD.
After the fresh Leopard was installed on the new drive and I booted off of it, I got prompted to allow a user from the old access to the FW drive. How weird is that? Still, even though I'd never seen that kind of thing, I figured what the heck maybe it's just modifying permissions so I don't have to manually take ownership of all files on it.
Here's the kicker, and I hope it doesn't distract from the issue: the user it asked me to grant access was an ActiveDirectory one. None of the other non-AD local users from the old Leopard drive was mentioned. (yes, the old Leopard was integrated into AD)

Here's the new wrinkle I didn't divulge before: it asked me if I wanted to allow access to the FW drive using an ActiveDirectory account

I just had the same problem. And I found the solution, on Youtube.
The problem is that these ******** at apple designed the battery compartement, the distance between metal contacts too big.
That means the batteries plus or minus poles are not touching the corresponding contacts in the mouses battery compartement.
Most likely the battery doesn't get pushed up to touch the plus contacts.
I used a fingernail to push the battery up and tadaa, the green LED came on.
The guy in the Youtube video just put some folded aluminium foil under the minus poles for bridging the gap.

Installed itunes 10.5 and now can't use function keys on my keyboard

I just downloaded iTunes 10.5.0.142 and I now can't use the function keys on my keyboards to change track, pause etc. Is anyone else having this problem? Also, why is it now ctrl+shift+m to switch to mini player? Ctrl+m doesn't do anything now

Yeah I agree the white keyboard was clunky, I dont really miss it. The problem is you can't just use the new lighter keyboards with the white imacs bc the operating system is outdated. The apple store told me I needed to upgrade my operating system and it would cost me 170 dollars, which I found incredulous.
I dont think its due to an app running or an expose issue, thanks for your responses.

iTunes Store purchases or songs imported from CDs are saved in your My Music folder by default and are not deleted by removing iTunes. It is very possible that you may have some form of Wi-Fi interference that has appeared recently that is preventing your Time Capsule (TC) from providing a clean RF signal.
I suggest you perform a simple site survey, using utilities like iStumbler, or AirRadar to determine potential areas of interference, and then, try to either eliminate or significantly reduce them where possible. Look for other Wi-Fis that may be operating nearby. Note those with the strongest signals and which channels they are operating on ... then change the channel used by the TC to be at least 3-5 channels away.

I can't use the wifi after 10 pm, but i can use it again at 7 am?

so for some reason, i can't use my wifi after 10 pm. but in the morning when i wake up, i can use it again. is this some parental control or something? please lead me through it. i can't really ask my parents to do it, because they're not technologically advanced. they can probably give me the basic like the password and all, but that's it. how can i fix it? i'm using the wifi on an ipod touch. the wifi works perfectly fine on a regular computer but it doesn't work on my ipod during those certain hours. can someone please help me?
the wifi icon shows up in the upper left corner, but its obviously not connected. there are no restrictions on the ipod at all.
any other details you need, please ask. i really need this solved!

i'd definitely say it was a wifi thing rather than an ipod thing. as far as i can think of there would be no way to tell an ipod to only access the internet between 7am and 10pm. - unless you were to restrict it using the router (i imagine this COULD be possible, but don't know if it actually is).
everything which accesses the internet is given an individual 'mac address'. so if you have say, 3 computers, an ipod, a games console, all accessing a wifi network, that router will recognise them all individually by it's individual mac address. you can use mac filtering to give you an extra level of security to your network. so even if the correct network password is entered onto a wifi enabled piece of technology, if the router hasn't got the mac address entered as one that it should accept, you won't get access to the network.
i must reiterate, i don't know if you can do this, but i would think it may be possible to restrict a certain mac address from accessing the network at certain times of the day (for example a young kid who may be playing with their ipod in bed, but should really be asleep!)
if you go into the settings option on your ipod, general, restrictions, you can play around with your own restrictions and see what they do. mostly they restrict complete access, or the download of explicit content.

Can we use XSLT mapping after graphical mapping?
My requirement is to generate two namespace attributes in the target output.
So first I want to generate a structure using graphical mapping and then want to use XSLT mapping only to generate the second namespace XSI (leaving the rest of the structure as it is). Is it possible?

To me it seems feasible...
But to using the two mappings one after another you will have to use BPM .
Use transformation step for this to use the mapping and change in structure.

Using CS5.5 Master Collection for MAC, I can't use "Replace with After Effects composition" because I updated AE to CS6 (but only AE). Even that AE CS 5.5 is still installed, it won't connetct.
How can that be fixed?

Maybe try associating AE project files with 5.5 instead of 6.
