Leopard to snow leopard without have to instal all my applications...

Hi everybody!
I'm sorry if this question makes no sense,
but the thing is that I want to upgrade to snow leopard, and i'm not shore if is possible to do it without need to install again all my applications after, It would be lots of time, and I'm not shore if I would even find all the drivers... I use lots of plug-ins that i don't want to loose!
I Hope it's possible to upgrade without all the "rebuild" of my tools, but i'm not shore so please I will be tankful if anyone can help me!

Don't forget to backup or clone your hard drive to an external drive before installing Snow Leopard.

Snow Leopard breaks quite a few drivers - my Canon exhibited the same problem.
I eventually found updated drivers on the Canon website. You can try that with the HP, but if the all-in-one is more than a year or so old, don't hold your breath.
You can also try Software Update to see if it will offer new drivers, or failing that go to the Support Downloads site and search for HP updates.
In fact there's a new one for HP at the top of the list just now.
You may not necessarily want the latest one, though - check the specs to see if your model is covered; if not, search for the previous update etc.

Do I have to install all vst/samples twice using bootcamp

I just got macbook pro a month ago,I use sonar X3 allot and want to make a bootcamp partition.Do I have to install all of my software instruments and effects plus all of my samples twice?As in on both sides of partition or can they be accessed on the windows and the mac side.Thank you for your help.

I found one other way to do it. I just deleted them all out of my iTunes library. Now I can re-import them from Window's My Music file with the original artists' names intact.

I want to download Mac OS X 10.3.9. I have 10.3.5, so do I have to install 10.3.6, then 10.3.7 and so on like that. Or is there a way to skip that whole process?

As long as you use the Mac OS X Combined Update 10.3.9 you do not need any other incremental updates.
Make sure that you also read About the Mac OS X 10.3.9 Update (Combo), and as a precaution repair permissions before and after installation.

How much to upgrade to"Creative Cloud" version if I have subs to all CS6 applications?

Before Creative Cloud I had full subcription to all the applications in CS6 ($49/month). Now with everything bing "Creative Cloud" do I automatically get access to these new versions or will I have to pay extra?

TS1424 I cannot install iTunes on my Windows 7 PC without it taking over all my applications and replacing their icons.

I initally installed iTunes several months ago to sync with my iPod. In July I got an iPad and switched to wireless internet service. At some point iTunes decided to take over my Windows 7 (Professional) PC computer! If I uninstall iTunes, everything is fine, but I have to restart the computer to reset my icons. As soon as I reinstall iTunes, it takes overf all my desktop icons and software programs.
I have run disk scans, malware, virus scans; I have unintstalled all Apple products and then tried re-installing iTunes to no avail.

First I'd set up a System Restore point. Then try applying the LNK registry fix from the following document:

Does ota update delete apps? Do i have to install all apps again?

A successful OTA update does not delete anything. However, occasionally a glitch occurs and you have to connect to iTunes and restore your iPod. Thus, make sure you backup before each iOS update.

Have to reinstall all my applications on my second computer

I work on 2 computers at my job. One near the space i shoot my pictures and one at the office. I have one account, but when I ordered Adobe cloud they said it would be no problem if I installed cloud on both computers. I use it on both computers, not simultaneously ofcourse, but when I use it on my second computer, it does not work. I have to start application manager before the cloud app even works. And when cloud starts up, all the apps i downloaded like Photoshop are deleted and I have to reinstall it agai, which makes no sense.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

This has nothing to do with Adobe. You have a local issue on your computer where you are not allowed to make changes to the system on a permanent basis or a system restore is resetting your system to a previous state. You need to figure out that part.

Why does iTunes say that I have to delete all my applications?

I'm trying to create photo albums for my iPhone 4. I'm doing this by connecting my phone to my computer (I use Windows XP), selecting My iPhone, clicking the Photos tab and selecting the folder that I want to sync to my phone. Your apps were installed from a different computer than the one your photos are on. The iPhone can sync with only one computer.

I have to update all my application in my App Store however they are asking for the credit card details since this is to update only. Even to download some free games still they are asking my credit card details since it is a free. Please help me..

My younger brother had the same problem. You have to go into settings, app store, details and then change your credit card details to none. If there is no none option, you will have to use a different apple id.

If I upgrade to snow leopard, will I lose all the applications?

D. If forum participants should feel uncomfortable about anything, it is suggesting or even hinting to others that it is somehow OK to disregard any part of the EULA without first consulting a lawyer.

Remove OS 9 without a clean install of OS X?

I have both OS 9 and OS 10.3 on my computer.
I want to remove OS 9 but don't want to have to reinstall all my applications. Can I trash the OS 9 applications and system folder or will it mess up my computer?
I don't use anything on OS 9 anymore.

At the root directory of the hard drive there would be typically three folders associated with OS 9:
System Folder
Applications (Mac OS 9)
Documents
Drag them to the Trash to remove OS 9. Open the Classic preferences and be sure you have Classic shut down. Restart the computer. After restart you should be able to Empty the Trash.
CAUTION:
There is a folder named System and a folder named System Folder. The latter is the OS 9 folder; the former is for OS X. DO NOT delete System.

After I boot my computer, I have to reinstall all of my addons

When I reboot my computer, I get 12 tabs asking me if I want to install each of my addons. Does not happen when I shut down firefos, just when I reboot windows. I have windows 7 and the latest firefox. Actually this has been going on for the last 6-9 months, through the last few updates.

Otherwise you can also do a clean install. While uninstalling, select to delete all files and preferences, and then do a clean install. Again, you have to install all the addons.

Yes, it's normal - you should have a .docx extension on Word files, etc., as well.
If you don't want to see the extensions, you can always turn them off in the Finder's Preferences.
