Leopard update ical dock not keeping current date

since the update last week, the dock icon has stopped keeping the current date. the first day I noticed it stopped updating I did a kill dock. stayed on that day.
I removed it from the dock, then re-added it, keeps that date.
anyone else, is this a know issue?

go to the dock, trash the ical icon there, then go to the applications folder, and drag a fresh ical icon to the dock.
also would be a good idea to do a software update before that if your the OS in your profile is correct

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Exactly the same question I was about to post!
Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!
Come on Apple!!
Just need an option for the calender event to add to reminder or the old drag to add to reminder functionality back, Please???

ICal still shows previous day in ical proper, but shows current date in the dock

iCal is open in the MONTH, on my desktop permanently, but it continually shows yesterdays date. It isn't till I actually click on the following day in iCal proper that the date changes to the current date. The iCal icon on the dock works fine with no issues. When I first purchased the iMac iCal worked aok. Software is continually updated.

I have the same issue. I am also running iCal 5.0.2 under Lion 10.7.3. It worked fine for me on Lion 10.7.2, and it still works ok for me on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1. It does look like a bug to me. I have the issue connecting to a Google Calendar as well as to another (non-Apple) CalDAV server.
Let me know if you call Apple Support to report this issue.

After updating new MIC in QP02 in Back date not showing current date ?

I have updated some new MIC and some Changes are made in existing MIC in QP02 on back date. It is showing on same back date with all correction and new MIC but on today's date i.e. current date it is not showing in the system.
any can help me how to get in current date ?
There are some dump error , for these correction i have updated SNOTE 1467234 and 1471534 in Quality server, but no more effect.

I have updated existing QP in back date i.e. same as when created original date ( expiration date is long i.e. 31.12.9999) , then same thing i wanted to see all updated MIC should be reflect in current date, but it is not coming, so i have updated SNOTE- 1467234 and 1471534 then tried it.It is working fine some how but not as i want.Hence i thing it is solved my problem.

Current date parameter in concurrent program is not not taking current date

I have scheduled one concurrent request running very day @21:30 ,one of the parameter passed is current date ,which defined as default value at the time of defining concurrent program.Surprisingly its taking next day date as parameter.Can someone help me resolving this issue.
From where this current date is taken.
When I am logged in unix as oracle user and executing following query I am getting follwoing results
SQL> alter session set nls_date_format='MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS';
Session altered.
SQL> select current_date from dual;
CURRENT_DATE

SQL> select sysdate from dual;

When I logged in unix as applmgr user:
SQL> select current_date from dual;
CURRENT_DATE

SQL> select sysdate from dual;
SYSDATE

Unix level date is correct and sysdate is also correct in both cases.
But current_date when logged in s applmgr user is wrong,is this reason for the issue.
If so how can I change it

Reminders are not keeping the date/time I set and are not reminding me.

When I create a reminder, I schedule the date/time to be reminded. Once I close the Reminders, the date/time are removed from the items in the list. This just started a few days ago. I haven't done an update; my phone is up to date.

Body text in all of the Page Layout templates is filler text, in Latin. It's there to show the user (that would be you) what a mass of text will look like on the page, without the distraction of having the words actually mean something in the language of the user.
That filler text is also "Placeholder" text. Click anywhere in the box holding that text and ALL of the text in that box will be selected. Type a single character, and ALL of the placeholder text will disappear, replaced by the character you typed.
(Some) Headline text in the same templates is in English (possibly in other languages in other localizations), which may or may not be a good idea. A headline reading "Vikings new Champs!!" could blind the user to several posible uses for that template. A headline reading "Lorem Ipsum" leaves those possibilities open.

Delivery date mandatory and not defulted current date

I want to make the delivery date mandatory in the purchase Requisition and currently the current date is defaulted there , i want that nothing should be there initially.

U can make the delivery date field as mandatory in PR , by setting delivery date field as required entry in PR sscreen layout in customization.
Go to SPRO- MM - Purchasing - PR- Define screen layout at doc level - ME51N - Deadline monitoring - Delivery date ( Make this field as reqd entry ) and save it.
And regarding ur second question the default date should be blank, the date gets calculated here based on the planned del time maintained in materila master in MRP2 view.
So if the date showing is todays date when u r creating PR today means, the planned delivery time maintained in MMR is zero days.

Not getting current date in InputDate Field while setting MinValue..

Macbook Leopard Update- Hard drive not recognized?!?!

Question- What do you think caused this problem, and how can I best fix it?

Well, I finally decided to update to Leopard. I put the disk in my Macbook, and everything went smoothly as it verified the installation DVD- until the end of the verification, that is. A message screen would pop up telling me the disk was dirty. "Okay," I thought,"No problem." I was a bit puzzled, though, because the installation with the same Family Pack disk went fine on my father's Mac. I cleaned the disk, and tried again. And again. Each time, I was greeted with the same message at the end of the verification. Frustrated, I took the disk and my laptop to Best Buy, hoping someone could help me there. We ran the installation again... to no surprise, the same problem occurs. This time, though, when we quit the installer and try to reboot, after the gray screen with the apple at the beginning, we are greeted with a black screen with one command line. NOT GOOD! We rebooted the computer again, this time starting up with a disk to check the permissions and hard drive. The diagnosis: The permissions on my Mac are screwed up, so it's not recognizing the hard drive. The Best Buy guy claims the permissions have been messed up since I bought the Mac, and everything will be just fine and dandy after I transfer the data to another computer, install the Tiger disk that my Macbook came with, update to Leopard, then transfer the data back to my Mac. I'm taking my Mac to the closest Apple store (about 2 hours away) for advice from the pros on Saturday. Until then, I'm hesitant to even turn the thing on, out of fear it will spontaneously erase the data or something to that extent.
Question: (in case you forgot)What do you think caused this problem, and how can I best fix it?

Unplugging worked!!!
I have no idea what PRAM is but someone said that unplugging your computer resets it so, I thought I'd give unplugging a shot. So, I shut down my computer and unplugged it. I also unplugged the power on the HD. (because I wasn't sure which one they were talking about.)
Anyway, I went away for about five minutes.
I came back plugged in the HD power first. Then, I plugged in the power cord for the computer and turned it on.
As soon as I logged in I was asked if I wanted to use my external HD for Time Machine backups.
I saw the icon for the HD on the Desktop where is belongs. I can open the drive and access the files with no problem.
Try this if you haven't yet.

Charts in Web VI not using current data - lag, delayed

Hi, I'm using Labview to generate a "web portal" for viewing some realtime information coming from a number of machines.
The machines report power system frequency from a number of sites and display the current measurement as an ASCII readout on the Labview front panel, but I also have a chart showing the history of the measurements over the last 20 seconds. When I look at the front panel on the computer hosting the VI (i.e. on its monitor) all is well and all the data is correct, current and up-to-date.
However, when I access via the web interface (using an Embedded VI) the ASCII readouts are all current, however, the chart is delayed by a variable amount. I have seen it chart data 3 seconds behind the current samples, and sometimes nearly a minute behind. i.e., the timestamp of the most recent value on the web chart is lagging the most recent time stamp at the server, even though the web interface is getting the most recent values on the ASCII readouts.
I'm guessing there is some sort of error in rendering the charts at the web client Labview Runtime Engine, but I've no idea how I might fix this. Any advice would be much appreciated.
I am using Labview 7.1 for historical reasons, I can upgrade to 8.6, but would prefer not to.

It is a good amount of time ago that I have been using remote panels with LabVIEW 7.0 but I have faced the same issue in 2003 (if I remember correctly). As far as I remember, the big difference between updating a numeric indicator and a chart is, that updating the chart requires the entire history needs to be send to the remote client.
You say "I also have a chart showing the history of the measurements over the last 20 seconds". I think that you expect too much from the remote panel in conjunction with charts. If you write to the chart at a slower rate you might get better behaviour.
Another apprach (I do not remember if this is a good tip): The behaviour might improve by decreasing the Chart History Length.

Snow Leopard Server iCal push not working on iMac clients

Hello,
I have a new installed mac mini snow leopard server and updated osx with all the latest updates.
I am running the iCal server and the Push service and everything seems to run OK.
I have 4 brand new iMac clients which share calendars between the different users,but the iCal Push function doesn't work at all. Even when I change the update method in the iCal client to interval of 1 minute, it doensn't update.
The only way the calendar updates is to choose "Refresh" from the Calendar menu in iCal client.
The push function for the mail clients do work which is strange.
I already tried the following actions:
1. I have stopped and restarted the Push-service on the server
2. I have removed the push server settings in the iCal server settings on the server and added them again
3. I followed the iCal log file to see if an action of a client is immediatly visible on the server = OK
4. I've updated all the clients to the newest software
5. I have restarted the server completely
Does anybody have tips or advise to help me looking to find the cause of the iCal Push problems?

On my dock, the date on the Ical icon is wrong.How can I correct it?

The date? I don't see any date in the dock. Try clicking on the icon while holding down the command key and see if you can drag it out of the Dock. Drag until you get a puff of smoke. Then go to your Applications folder and drag the application back into the Dock.

Leopard on external drive, whilst leaving current data alone

I wish to install leopard on an external hard drive, so i can keep Tiger on the internal computer drive. But I want to partition the drive for time machine as well, I have already used about 70gigs of 500gigs on the drive but i don't want to erase the data already on there.
If I use the split function in disk utility to create other partitions will it erase the data already on the drive or leave it alone and create other partitions?

it will leave the existing data alone so you can do that. just make sure you use the split function correctly (select a partition and click on +). However, I should add that it's a bad idea to have TM partition on the same physical drive with the system. if something happens to the drive you'll loose everything. get another drive for backups.

There is a requirement in which when the material (Not batch managed) is getting return from Non WM managed storage location to WM managed storage location than at the time of creating transfer order or after creation of transfer order would like to change LTAP-WDATU (GR date) automatically , So here i am unable to find the right user exit or BADI in which i can write the logic for same. Below is full description of the requirement.
Here we are following Removal strategy "FIFO" while picking the material (Not batch managed) from WM managed storage location (WMS1) & transferring to Non WM managed storage location (ODS) ( than from there it use to go to Production) , at certain times partial quantity use to come back from Non WM managed storage location (ODS) to WM managed storage location (WMS1) and while doing putaway of the same "GR date" use to change which was not the actual when the material 1st time comes to WM managed storage location (WMS1) (before getting transfer to Non WM managed storage location). So here i want the user exit or BADI in which i can write my logic so that GR date ( LTAP-WDATU) would automatically change while creating transfer order or after creation of transfer order as per the "GR date" of same material which last moved from WM managed Storage location (WMS1) to Non WM managed storage location(ODS) because as per FIFO material dated before that would not be exist in the warehouse.
Below is the flow of the material while transferring to production & returning from production.
WMS1 ( WM managed warehouse ) --> ODS ( Non WM managed warehouse) --> Production At the time of issue to production
Production --> ODS ( Non WM managed warehouse) --> WMS1 ( WM managed warehouse ) At the time of return from production

1. You have to get a key from SAP to modify the two includes in which the user exits are present.
2. You have to enter statement 'INCLUDE z**. ' in both user exits in the MV45* includes. Then save and activate the MV45** includes.
3. You have to figure out the code that carries out the functionality described in your specifications.
3. Write the code in includes Z** .
4. Now the code written by you will be executed when you run the relevant SD transaction

ICal import not importing all dates...

I am attempting to create a calendar in iPhoto 08 using the iCal import option. For some reason, not all the records from iCal are getting imported. I selected all the iCal calendars in the "Settings" section but still cannot get them all to import.
Any suggestions?
