LES service

We have a LES 100 Worldcom service and have been running it as a point-to-point link between 2 x 3600 routers. We needed to add a second routed network and therefore inserted 2xCat3550's on the ends of the LES. Trunking was configured between 3550's. With trunking turned on routing protocol adjacencies could be seen to drop periodically. We belive it's an MTU issues with the Worldcom circuit as it behaves abnormally when we configure ISL or 802.1Q. If the switch ports at either end of the LES are configured as access ports then there is no issue.
Has anybody seen this issue and is it MTU and if so is there a workaround

is OSPF the routing protocol in use ? If so, I know of issues with the OSPF MTU size on the 3550, you could try and configure 'ip ospf mtu-ignore' on the respective interfaces of the 3550, and see if that makes a difference...

Nous utilisons Business Objects XIR2 SP2 et plus précisément Webi. Nous possédons 115 licences individuelles.
Infoview est installé sur un serveur IIS, nous sommes en clustering actif et nous requêtons sur une base Oracle 10g.
Néanmoins, nous sommes confrontés à du2019incessants problèmes de déconnexion. Pourtant, nous avons minutieusement vérifié tous les paramètres.
     Au niveau de la CMS, nous avons passé en revue tous les services pour fixer les temps du2019inactivité à 120 minutes.
     Au niveau des univers, nous avons passé ce temps à 100 minutes.
Néanmoins, le système se déconnecte tout de même.
Ce que nous avons remarqué, cu2019est que parfois les services du2019une serveur (puisque nous sommes en cluster, nous avons deux serveurs) apparaissent en rouge (en erreur) sur la console.
Portant, sur IIS, les services apparaissent en vert (donc démarrés)!
Par contre, si nous regardons dans les logs de IIs, nous nous apercevons quu2019il y a eu une coupure de la connexion au cluster :

TUXEDO services call

Is it possible to get the return of a SALT function in order to know if its execution went well?
Also, depending on the good execution of the function, is it possible to call a TUXEDO service just after this recovering?

En fait je souhaite utiliser salt pour permettre a un client d'effectuer une demande d'autorisation via SALT et les services tuxedo. Une fois la demande d'autorisation effectué mon service tuxedo va renvoyer la réponse au client en transformant le buffer FML en message XML. Pour renvoyer la réponse au client, SALT va utiliser une certaine fonction et je voulai savoir si il y avait possibilité de récupéré le code retour de cette fonction et ainsi savoir si le message a bien était réceptionné par le client et ainsi relancé dans juste après un second appel de service de tuxedo pour en informer le serveur interne.
Est ce plus clair ?

It's true.
These two systems together (or independently?) should not be used for mission critical systems, ie the specialized systems that these run on must be like 100% or six sigma or whatever.

Installation adobe photoshop elements & première elements

Bonjour
Je regrette de n'avoir pas acheté Adobe photoshop elements & première élément 12 sur DVD car j'ai des problèmes d'installation.
Photoshop elements ne s'installe pas complètement de ce fait :
– je ne peux lancer l'organiseur ou l'éditeur à partir d'un menu d'accueil
– si j'appelle l'organiseur et que j'appelle l'organiser je vois à l'écran "chargement de l'espace de travail d'Eléments organiser" sans que cet espace apparaisse.
– Si je lance Eléments organiser j'ai un message d'erreur précisant que les "composants requis ne sont pas complètement installé.
– A chaque démarrage j'ai toujours un message d'erreur me précisant "l'impossibilté d'initialiser les services en ligne. Vous devez les réinstaller. Appuyer sur OK pour continuer sans les services en ligne." Que faut-il faire ?
– Je n'arrive pas à désintaller adobe photoshop élément 12 car il n'apparait pas dans la fenêtre de windows 7 configuration de désinstallation d'un programme. Donc je n'ai pas accès à cette fonction de windows.
– Un nouvelle installation avec les même programmes téléchargés aboutit à situation d'échec donc je reste bloqué avec cette installation partielle. Je n'arrive qu'à lancer séparément l'éditeur et l'organiseur à partir de raccourcis que je suis allé cherché dans program files (x86) \ adobe ce qui me donne qu'un vague aperçu des possibilités de ce logiciel avec un fonctionnement incomplet.
Je suis déçu d'arriver à cette situation d'échec car au club photo nous travaillons avec cette version d'adobe photoshopElements. J'avais donc désinstallé la version 10 de que je vous avais acheté avec DVD car je perdais trop de temps à rechercher les correspondances des différentes fonctions lorsque nous travaillons ensemble.
Par ailleurs j’utilise adobe première éléments pour faire les montages des clip vidéo fait avec mon appareil réflexe et je développe pricipalement mes photos RAW avec adobe photoshop lightroom que je vous ai également acheté quand je suis sur mon ordinateur fixe... je suis donc un fidèle client adobe.
En résumé comment puis-je refaire une installation correcte sous Windows 7 64 bits d'Adobe photohop elements 12 que je viens d'acheter et télécharger.

Installation iTunes impossible

Lors de la dernière mise à jour de iTunes, le programme est devenu inaccessible. J'ai essayé de le réinstaller plusieurs fois, y compris en supprimant complètement iTunes de l'ordinateur, mais à chaque fois le message suivant apparait : "Echec démarrage du service Apple Mobile Device. Vérifiez que vous disposez des privilèges suffisants pour démarrer les services système".
Si j'essaie de démarrer tout de même iTunes, le message suivant apparaît : MSVCR80.DLL introuvable, puis "Réinstaller iTunes Error 7 (Windows error 126).

Arret et redemarrage des services d'impression dans windows, puis redemarrage du Pc.
2 options :
ouvrir la fenêtre dos, et saisir : net stop spooler, attendre 2 secondes puis saisir net start spooler
ou dans demarrer, executer, services.msc puis dans les services trouver les services d'impressions, clic droit et redemarrer.
Voila, c'est aussi simple que ça.

Plantage Illustrator CS5 V15.0.2 lors de la sauvegarde

Bonjour a toutes, bonjour a tous
Je viens vers vous car je rencontre un soucis avec illustrator CS5 depuis peu. Je m'explique :
Lorsque je crée un projet, et que je travail ce projet a 100% (sans import d'éléments externes par exemple), je peux sauvegarder mon travail.
En revanche si je crée un document et que j'importe un fichier existant dedans, au moment de la sauvegarde, illustrator cesse de fonctionner, et Windows 7, mets un "placard" disant qu'illustrator a cessé de fonctionner, et qu'il va tenter de m'apporter une solution pour résoudre mon problème.
Même soucis lorsque j'ouvre un document existant pour modification, si je masque par exemple un calque, je vois apparaitre en haut de la barre de menu, (ne répond pas), puis j'ai le message d'erreur de Win 7.
J'ai testé mes fichier sur le poste d'un collégue (avec Win Xp), et la ça fonctionne parfaitement.
Avez vous une idée sur l'origine de mon problème, ou une piste me permettant de résoudre de soucis.

j'ai un problème sur mon serveur Solman, quand j'essaye de redémarrer les services de SAP et Oracle, le service Disp-work.exe attend le démarrage de JEE puis après un certain temps le service ne démarre plus.

Qosmio F50-111: Control buttons stopped working using VMWARE Workstation

Hi,
Since Ive installed VMWARE Workstation v6.0.3, my touch buttons (play, pause, stop, media center, next, previous, mute, and light, webcam, and dolby) stopped working.
So Ive chosen to restore my Vista before the installation on my VMWARE. It works my buttons work again...
BUT I need to install this software (vmware) for my job use.
I've already tried to remove and install then new Value Added Package from Toshiba Website, but it doesn't work.
Please help me
It mean that the applications (in the TBS folder, like TDspBtn.exe, TBSbtnSt.exe,...) start running but stop immediately.

I tried to disable VMware services but it didn't solve the problem but I found something interesting.
I opened the windows Event Viewer and in Windows logs > System I saw that for each boot of the PC there is a log about TBS, Toshiba Button Support which says:
"Aucun périphérique de sécurité du module de plateforme sécurisée compatible trouvé sur cet ordinateur. Impossible de démarrer les services de base de module de plateforme sécurisée."
I don't know the english message but it's something like no compatible device of security of safety platform found on this computer. Unable to start The base services of the module of safety platform.
I hope this with help us and Toshiba to find where does this incompatibility comes from.

Impossible d'installer le runtime Labview

Bonjour
J'ai un petit (ou gros) problème d'installation du runtime Labview 2009 (idem pour 8.5 ou 2010) depuis quelques semaines...
Lors de l'installation d'un runtime pris sur le site de NI ou un installeur (compilé sur mon PC), les PC cibles retournent une erreur de "Windows installer". Il mentione entre autre que je dois quitté le mode "sans echec" (dans lequel je ne suis pas bien sur !)
Les PC cibles sont reliés au réseau de mon entreprise et mis à jour régulièrement (XP SP3). Les tentatives d'installation ont été réalisées en tant qu'administrateur via une clé USB sur les ports mêmes de chaque PC où en récupérant l'exe sur le réseau.
Le service informatique a tenté de mettre de nouvelles versions de "windows installer" en vain. Seule la réinstallation compléte de SP3 semble éradiquer le problème.
Comme j'ai une 10aine de PC à modifier la dernière solution n'en est pas une !!!
Auriez vous une idée de ce qui géne windows ? Y aurait-il autre chose d'autre à mettre à jour que "windows installer" ?

J'ai essayé, mais malheureusement ça ne fonctionne toujours pas : j'ai lancer SafeMsi en mode sans echec, et je suis repassé en mode std pour l'installation du runtime.
Voici l'erreur affichée (invariable depuis le début) :
> "Impossible d'accéder au service Windows Installer. Ceci peut se produire si vous exécuter windows en mode sans échec"
Le rapport d'évenement (Event Viewer) :

Un des noms msi par exemple qui pose problème est : "NI LabVIEW Web Server for Run-Time Engine"
Par ailleur je suis retourné dans les "Services" et activé manuellement "Windows installer" comme vous me l'avez conseillé et en utilisant différentes configuration du type de démarrage (manuel, desactivé et auto).
Cela ne change rien au problème. Cependant on remarque que "windows installer" se désactive juste avant l'erreur !
Je ne peux pas dire si windows installer émet une erreur et s'arrête ou si quelque chose (antivirus, potection de sécurité,...) le stoppe et du coup le service étant interrompu une erreur apparait.
Je suis actuellement en congés pour 3 semaines. Nous ne pourrons rien tenter pour le moment.
Le service informatique doit toutefois essayer une installation en désactivant l'antivirus.
J'ai pu lire quelques info sur DCOM, RPC et des clés de sécurité qui perturbent l'installation des msi mais ça me dépasse un peu !
Quelles différences entre msi peuvent faire que certains vont s'installer et d'autres pas ?
