Let the user try again

I issue a jboexception to show a validation error. I would like to give the user the opportunity to fix the problem without having to retype everything. For example, if the user is inserting a record and they fail on one field validation, it displays the error correctly. It doesn't give them a link to go back to what they typed and fix it. If the back button is clicked on the browser, it appears that they can fix it, but when they save, it gives an error about not being able to find the row handle.
How do I get around this? I need this soon.

yes and when I push the icon to download and go through all 3 steps it says this version is already downloaded. so i close the browser and try to download the document again and it says the same error

Hello,
When trying to make adjustments to multiple contracts we are receiving the error message 'Document is still being processed in the background; try again later.' We have tried again later to no effect.
Ultimately, this means that these contracts (30 altogether) cannot be altered in anyway i.e. held, deleted, released, approved and it means that they just sit there.
This also has implications when raising another contract to replace these contracts. For example if you want to use the same vendor this will cause great confusion for our users when trying to select the correct correct to spend money against when raising purchase orders. Often the result is the user selecting the wrong contract.
Have you any suggestions on why this error message is appearing?

Reproducing the Issue
Create or change a document in SRM.
Cause
*Not possible to identify root cause without further deeper analysis
Resolution
Find the object guid of your SRM document via transaction BBP_PD.
Then display the relevant workflow instance via transaction SWI6 using the following steps:
Select BOR object type.
Enter your object type.
Enter your guid (or document number in the case of shopping cart) in the Key field.
Select variant All Instances.
Select selection period All.
Hit execute.
Click on icon 'Display workflow log'.
Click on icon 'List with technical details'.
Click on icon 'Print Log'.
Record the date and time of the very last step in the workflow log.
Using the date and time of the last workflow step, here are some transactions that can be used to investigate the root cause of the problem.
SM58 - check for stuck remote function calls
ST22 - check for system dumps
SM13 - check for stuck update requests
SM21 - check in the system log for anything unusual
SWUD - run a consistency check on the workflow
Enter the task number and hit enter e.g. 14000044
Choose 'Test Environment' and flag 'Including parts'
Execute

I want to make a control to let the user can select a type of line from some types. Just like selecting the line type of plot in the graph.
Is there any good way to do it, or is there any examples?

I think you can use a pict ring as selector and the detect value changes of that indicator to apply the new plot style on the graph using property nodes.

Hi,
Take a look at this example, it uses property nodes to select tha
active plot and then changes the color of that plot.
If you want to make the number of plots dynamic you could use a for
loop and an array of color boxes.

A suggestion for the mouse setting through persistence via SkyDrive/OneDrive: Add a check button to let the user tell if the mouse settings should be "restored" every time the user logs in a "different" computer using the same Microsoft Account.

Every time I log in one of my 2 computers with Microsoft Account, I have to change the main button (left/right) setting, because the settings persistence via SkyDrive/OneDrive.
I have different main mouse button settings in the computers.
Those settings shouldn't be changed, if the account is not a new one, after all, if the user has different settings in old accounts, it means there must be a reason to do it (because of hardware and/or furniture restriction).
Thus, a check button in the mouse settings' window that let the user tell if it should be changed or not would be welcomed.

Can I somehow let the user select multiple images from device?

Is there any way to let the user select multiple images from the device media gallery?
The CameraRoll only selects one image. And the FileRefernceList doesn't show thumbnails (so you have no idea what you are selecting).
Is there a way, or maybe some sort of workaround, for this? Is there a way to maybe "read" the users gallery on the SD-card and output your own gallery that the user can select from?
I'm developing towards both Android and iOS so cross-plattform is a must.

I am trying to open Erecruitment from portal Employee Self-Service -> My HCMS Profile & Career Opportunities. It takes me to eRecruiting page. But I am not able to see the eRecruiting page. It is giving "Unfortunately, the system is unavailable at the moment;try again later" error.
When i checked in SLG1. There were 6 errors logged.
1) Internal error in function module HRRCF_MDL_CAND_PROFRL_RETRIEVE
2) The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE_ADMIN_BL===CM00A line 37
3) The incorrect HR object has the key 01NA50100650
4)The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE============CM00C line 69
5) No status information available for object CANDIDATE
6) The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE============CM00C line 35
Can anyone helpme out to resolve this issue asap.

There was an error connecting to the network, try again!

I bought a new Computer (Mac Mini) with Snow Leopard installed; On joining the network(WEP128Bit) airport extremebasestation and airportexpress with WDS-mode) suddenly the basestation didnt offer WEP 128bit any more. I cant remember precisely but i think ist got something to do with the firmwareupdate of the AEBS or that i gave up WDS and changed to „extend a wireles network“ , well it only offered „WEP transitory“ which did not work properly for some reason;
So i changed to WPA/WPA2 option and extending my network with the airport express.
This worked fine; two computers with leopard, the new one with Snow leopard and a windows Laptop as well as two Mobilephones could easily join the network.
BUT: My old Imac G4 with Tiger (10.4.11) could not join so easy.. (I changed the settings to WPA of course) The symptom was that on the right upper corner of the screen a message appeared saying: „there was an error connecting to the network, try again!“ and when i hit the „try again“ button up to 20 times then sometimes it suddenly succeeded to join.
I was just about to look after the wirelesscard but tried before one thing: I changed my network channel on the AEBS from „automatic“ to Channel 11.
From this time on i worked like a charm. I dont know why only the Imac G4 needed channel 11, but this solved my problem.

Just tried turning off the HP 4050 and unplugging it from the wall. Then plugging it (power) back in and turning it on, trying to get it to renew its IP address with the AirPort Extreme router.....nothing. Still does not show up in my list of DHCP Clients.
Tried Restarting the router.....now I see no clients at all in my list of DHCP Client list..... grrrrrr
Can anyone tell me why AirPort Extreme is not seeing the HP 4050 as a DHCP client?

You will have to urlencode the XML data in order to use the plugin, I think this is where you are stuck.

hi when i first got my new macbook , everything is working fine, now that i try to login to ichat using aim, it gives me this error, and sometimes, it says something like ichat cant loggin in to AIM, try again later. well its kinda annoying because recently i started using it alot, and anyways, i upgraded everything, i tried using a different port 443 , and it worked, but it wouldnt let me send files or do video chat, so i decided to try to change it back, to port original port and now it doesnt work at all on any port, i have all the latest upgrades and everything, but just doesnt want to work, if it helps i also have a cysco router, but i dont remember if it started not working right after i got it or not.

Start with deleting com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist
You will find this by manually going to your Little House Icon/Library/Preferences
Restart iChat afterwards.
As you are on iChat 4 and Leopard also go to System Preferences > Security > Firewall and make sure it is not set to Allow Essentials as iChat in NOT an Essential App.
You have not said whether iChat is allowed though your routing device.
iChat can change the Login Port which uses the TCP Protocol
Some feedback to the Buddy List remains on port 5190 on the UDP Protocol as does File Sending

How to let the user know the application is still running during SQLite reads

I'm using an SQLite database to read and write to my application. In some places it has to do very large reads and writes and the application comes to a standstill for like 10 seconds while this is happening. I've tried calling showBusyCursor(), but it only works if I call that function and then set a timer to execute the sql query. But the busy cursor also freezes once the connection starts.
Why doesn't the showBusyCursor work during this time? Are there any other things I can do to the application to ensure the user that it is not frozen and just processing?

at I have read you can access the database in two modes: synchronous and asynchronous. From your description it sounds like you are accessing the database in synchronous mode, which will stop the application thread until the database thread is completed.
To get around that limitation you will want to run your database accesses in asynchronous mode, so that the application will continue running while the database is being accessed. What you do then is implement a listener on the database that will call a function that will hide the waiting cursor or image. Then you start the waiting indicator in the application. Once the database is done, it will trigger your listener and remove the waiting indicator, allowing the user to once again interact with your app.

Firefox continually says it "cannot find the server, try again" when I attempt to open it. What could be wrong?

When I click on any of the Firefox links on my desktop, a page usually opens saying that Firefox can't find the server. It then gives me the option in the form of a button in the lower left corner of the box, to try again. Sometimes clicking the button works and I am connected to the server, but often I have to close the page, wait a few minutes or even restart my computer, in order to connect to the server. It's extremely annoying.
