Try to connect your ipad to itunes, if it does let you then you should be able to select the device you have in the corner somewhere, once you do that you should see a screen that looks sort of like your ipads setting, you should have a button that says "Restore" click that and your ipad should be restored. I am so happy that Fresno was sold out of iPhones the day I went to buy one. Since then, I have been reading about all the problems the phones are having, and I'm glad I didn't get one. I am a loyal Mac user and look forward to owning an iPhone. I'm just glad there are people like you willing to beta test for Apple, and help them work out all the bugs. When you can hear the phone, visit flash websites, watch internet movies, and use a yahoo account successfully, sign me up. Until then, thanks for you hard work and patience.

I was a Q/A engineer for Intuit and Srint gave us
phone to Beta test for them when they first came out.
I have to say it was hard to find a funtion with a
"bug" in it. Wheras it is hard to find a feature in
the I-Phone that is bug free. I would have to say the
Weather feature works well... Its those other seldom
used features like the phone, calendar, contacts, and
it web are still in step one beta!! And foget aobut
support... I am still waiting on a return call from
engineering for 5 days now.
Why would Sprint/Intuit give you the iPhone to test? It isn't even on their network much less a CDMA phone. -
How do you know when you are using the internet?
If I am using an app that requries internet, and I press the middle button to get out of it am I still using part of my data plan?
While you are using the app if you are not on WiFi you are using the internet. If the app is one of the few that can run in the background you need to close it to stop it from using your data plan. Double click the home (middle) button, hold down your finger on the app, when you see a red circle with a dashed white line next to the app icon tap it, press the home button.

Downloaded version 4. Lost my toolbars, back button et.c Home button in the wrong place and could not move it and without requesting it I ended up with Yahoo which I did not want. How do I download Firefox 4 and keep all my toolbars as they were, at present is seems to be a very unfriendly upgrade?
John SI have the same problem. It was literally snuck in as a simple update and suddenly I couldn't upload any of my assignments. You can get rid of 7 by going to control panel and removing the Mozilla file. then look for the FF 6 upload. I warn you though. It REALLY wants to be 7. Don't allow any updates to happen or you will be in the same position.
I like Firefox and it is truly disappointing that they would force this situation. My nest step is back to IE 8 which wants to be 9. Arghh! -

The only thing backed up from InDesign is the limited number of settings in the Sync Settings preferences, and only if you choose that option. No design files are backed up.
If you choose to use the File Sync files feature of the Creative Cloud desktop app, you can choose to copy files for yourself or to share, but that it's turned off by default.

Someday - and no one knows when that day will come - maybe all applications will be able to take advantage of the Retina display. But for the present, not many do: including all Adobe applications. There was a demo of Photoshop at the Apple World Wide Developers Conference of Photoshop running at native Retina resolutions but no one at Adobe in marketing is saying when, if or how the upgrade may be coming. It could be a week, it could be a year, it could be 2-3 years. No one knows. And only Apple app's (for the main part) are really utilizing the native Retina display.
I've seen some demos of some applications (Apple's) that take advantage of the Retina display and they're awesome. But in actually working in the here-and-now I've heard quite a few gripes, particularly on the Photoshop forum, of menus looking pixelated and/or 'blurry' so I'm not quite ready to jump into the Retina display boat just now. Don't get me wrong - others have ad are very, very pleased with their selection. But until Retina displays are available on larger monitors, the maximum work area that you're going to be able to use is 15" - and that's simply not enough room for full-blown graphic design. Then there's the cost factor - for the $4,000+ you spend for a completely full-blown Retina kit, you can get a standard MacBook Pro, 16 GB of RAM, a fast SSD and even the Apple Thunderbolt Display for the same amount.
The standard MacBook Pro isn't better than the Retina display: it's just different. And I think (and this is only my opinion - other graphic designers should feel free to jump in here) that it's the best computer that you can get for your specific purposes. And, towards that goal, I have to recommend a very good external monitor (there's nothing more annoying than having to use InDesign in a single-page mode rather than side-by-side because your monitor isn't big enough).
Remember that this is only my opinion and that others might jump in with their own. But I was in the electronic pre-press business for more years than I care to admit and we always - always - worked with at least 19" monitors (and that's back when dinosaurs actually ruled the world).
I hope that others will jump in with their comments. I'm going to follow this thread and see!

Does anyone know if you can receive emails when not connected to wifi?
i getting really bored of sliding for emergency! its been since 10:20 est and i am still waiting for my ibrik to activate. i had an existing att acct with a blackberry. fortunately for me my wife's activated in three minutes. i was wondering about receiving emails. does anyone know if you can receive email's without wifi? also why can't you rotate the screen when you need it most for texting and emails? this seems to be common sense. maybe the next update will solve. how about attachments can you open word docs ? i'd love real world info not glossy spec's please

While making a backup copy in Itunes of my Iphone I receive the following error message: While making a backup copy of this iPhone (-35) an error has occurred. Do you want to continue with altering this Iphone? When you continue al the material on this Iphone will be lost.
I reinstalled iTunes but that dit not help. After synching iTunes with my iPhone it also asks to authorize my pc and when i Click on ok, it says it is already authorized.
Please can somebody help me, so I can make backup.

DerkIt's likely that your backup is corrupt. Try deleting the backup, then right click on the name of the phone in iTunes and choose "back up". To delete go to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab. Highlight and delete the most recent backup. Note that sometimes deleting this way leaves some garbage around that can still interfere with a new backup, so you should verify that the backup folder is empty.

BEWARE of using stopwatch or timer in iphone 5 under iOS7. As the mili second digit ticks really fast, in a matter of minutes, it will break your LCD under that mili second area. It happened to my iphone5. Let me know if you have same issue.
You two are obviously talking about the LCD pixels being killed. What exactly does it look like?
How many minutes are you talking about, 2 to 3, 5 to 7 or more?

When you scroll to the bottom of the list of files in Finder, the left to right scrollbar doesn't let you click the last file and it covers the file for a while until it disappears. Is this a bug? How do I not make that happen?
An odd workaround: click "Always" in System Preferences/General/Show scroll bars. The scroll bars will always show, but they won't cover your last file.

Yo can copy the RSS link into Firefox address bar and it will open the feed and ask you which program you want to use to read the feed. There are many RSS readers out there. I use Outlook and the free Protopage (www.protopage.com).
