This isn't great,but it's not to bad This is a feature offered by Toshiba. I prefer bright, so I decline Toshiba's recomendation,

make an icon for your button, and use it in the addTab method. You can detect if they click on the tab by using getBoundsAt in a MouseListener.

I had an issue when trying to register with the forums, but I am having problems speaking someone because I am not a "registered" member?

Dear forum member(s), I was excited at the possibilities that Firefox offered. I have been looking forward to researching on the forums, but I made a blunder when registering.
I changed my email password some time ago and forgot that I had done so. I also have a second email which is similar to my address I was registering and I think I was actually using my the second email information until I caught the mistake.
Shortly thereafter I received an email with my user ID but no password. I had been assuming that I would receive a onetime computer generated password, but I wasn’t sure how things were supposed to go. After closely studying the language of the email, I was led to the conclusion that I would login with my original information I had provided.
My final attempt to register failed and I can’t explain why. I am positive that I had the right user id and password and now I am in limbo. I registered with the "Add-ons" section in 15 minutes. I was never told I was banned, but I was never told I am now a member. Thanks for reading.

Not at all. I have never posted to the forums. The only thing I have written is what you see in this thread. I registered at add-ons section and things were fine. I wanted to use the forums, because I like to learn what I can. The problems began when I tried to register at the forms. At first, I thought my login from add-ons would work at the forums. It didn't. I honestly don't know if there is separate login and validation for each firefox/mozilla section.
When I attempted to register with the forums, I messed up when trying to login because I made too many attempts. I was either using another password from a second email or I misread those weird words they use to make sure you are not a bot.
I don't know what exactly was written but they basically wanted to take a look at things. I felt that was reasonable. After all - I felt like a moron for not being able to read those contorted word tests.
Then they sent me my user id but with no new password so I assumed my current password was the same as the one I originally gave. Long story short, I tried to login again- all three times I failed. They never banned me or told me anything. I have not heard from anyone or thing. To It's like they have just walked away. I just don't understand what has happened and why no one will tell me anything. So... no - I am not banned. When I do bet blocked after I logoff, it has the same effect as a ban. I guess I have been ousted. I just wish this I could get this matter resolved. I changed my password and email so maybe that will keep around.
It's a strange situation and I am at loss for words. I even wrote the forum people an apology letter describing the facts above in details and apologizing for the inconvenience. I actually apologized for being an idiot.
One last thing - at the outset of the post - I told you they gave me one last opportunity to login and it failed. I know for a fact I had the information correct. I had even written my password somewhere else on the screen to where I could see each character to verify the pass word was correct and then cut and paste.
James - who knows what the future holds but I must thank you my friend. At the very least, I could tell my story. It is all so strange.

Anyone else? The forums are totally hosed right now for me... hope Adobe isn't planning on keeping this new format... it's quite terrible.

Yeah, they have been doing some updates to the format. Kinda hard to comment without being insulting or sarcastic towards whoever is responsibile for the mess that has been piling up... they tend to be in denial when it comes to criticism. I can play the music on my itunes under my purchased section but when I go to my phone when I have it connected the a lot of the songs won't play on my song or from the itunes under my phone. They have a little icon to the left of them that looks like a repeat icon. It won't let me delete them from there nor play them. When on my phone only it won't play them it just brings up the clip art but will not play. Please can anyone help me.

All that happens is it just flicks through it all and won't play any of it???

I use TextPander to store stuff like that. but often am going too quickly to add it.

When block citing single lines, the forum adds three lines of extra white space

If I quote a single code line
... like this one ...
then the editor will display it as expected, i.e. a single line surrounded by a border.
But after I submit the post, three additional empty lines are appended.
This looks ugly and it bloats the block quote.
I just confirmed that the HTML code is not changed after submission. Apparently, the editor and the forum page interpret the "prettyprint" class in a different way.

That's not the blockquote, that's the 'Insert code block'. The fixed width is actually by design though, there's no way you can shrink the minimum size.
If I post a one liner, I edit the HTML to add in a single break (<br />) to at least move the single line into the middle of the box.
Example:
Get-ADUser -Filter *
EDIT: Credit for the break trick goes to Max, but that account has been deleted, so I can't properly credit him.

Thats strange...no, I don't think you are missing anything. Try going into Settings>General>Usage and see exactly what is taking up what space. If it shows in there that you do indeed have ther free space, I'd try to reset the iTouch by holding down the Home Button and the on/off swithch at the same time. Ignore the "slide to power off" prompt and just wait. You will not lose any data, music or apps.
See if that helps.

Mate, I'm trying to find out if it was shipped like that or not. If someone else has had the same issue then I can go back to Apple and have them look into it further. If not then as I said Vodafone is selling second hand phones and they will have to replace the phone.
Vodafone account manager is saying that he has never heard of anything like it.
So I'm left with one of 3 answers.
1: The phone was shipped like that so its a factory error.
2: The Apple genius doesn’t know what he's talking about then I can go back to the store and ask for a second opinion.
3: Vodafone is selling second hand phones as new.
I need to narrow it down so I can deal with the account manager appropriately

On-board sound card failing, consistently locking everything, (yes, I updated all drivers, codecs) so want to put in new sound card. Will the BIOS let me add a sound card into the PCIE slot? (of course after disabling the ReakTek onboard sound) I don't see an option to choose PCI or PCI-E in the setup screen (F10 at boot) for audio.

My iCloud on my mac has a screen with a little padlock in the upper right corner and won't let me do anything, i can't even shut down my computer. how do i fix this?

I went into system preferences to sync icloud to my iphone, and i guess i left it up and now everytime i click system preferences the icloud part comes up. That part has a white screen over it with a little padlock in the upper right hand corner, and because of this i can't even restart my computer. Can somone please help me, thank you!

I'm having the same problem as well, but on the battery drain however, you can drain it faster by using voice control. If you have music on your device, you can use the voice control to play the music. Still takes a lot of time, but at least it goes faster. By the way, I tried running down the battery for over 10 times now, but it still does nothing. If this is in your case as well, it could be a loose lcd cable and you need to get it repaired or try yourself. There should be some good tutorials on the web.
