Letters showing on different parts of screen...Password entry in app store
Just today I was downloading an app on my phone, the normal password pop up appeared and I am entering mine in. I get to certain letters/numbers and they not only appear in the password field but when I type them a little flash (in different areas for different letters) comes up momentarily. It almost looks like an "accesability" type option but I do not have any of those functions enabled.
ANyone ever heard of this and how do I correct it?

If you haven't already done so, does restarting or resetting the iPhone help the issue?

I have an Iphone 4, IOS version 6.1.3.
My app store badge is showing 2 updates, but when I go into my app store, it tells me all apps are up to date. I've tried several of the fixes that others have who have had simular issues, but so far, I havn't seen anyone who is having the issue of the app store saying the apps are up to date. (Most others are unable to load the app store or its just blank.)
Sometimes when I go into the app store the notification will go away, but its only temporary as it will come back again later. I've gone through my purchased list, and there are none that have update beside them. There are some that have a cloud, but all of those are ones I have deleted and do not wan
Unlike most users, I do not have a ton of apps. Probably less then 30, some of those are ones it came with. If this was a computer, I would think that there is something in the registry that is left over from one of the apps I deleted and its triggering the app store. IDK if it works like that on Iphones as I'm not really an expect. This is the only apple device I've ever owned and I got it used from a friend about 6 months ago. (It was cleared and restored before I bought it from her)
Everthing else seems to be working fine for the most part, except that it has been acting kinda slow and sometimes the browser and stuff doesn't load right the first try. (I only use wifi on it, as I don't use a cellular service with this Iphone)ATtempt to power off your device and power it back on, if that doesn't work reset all settings should resolve it for you

I did not blocked it . My mum did she got the people from the store to do it but i'm just worried that the password she use to block those sites might effect the password for my appstore. So you're saying that it won't effect and that i can use a different password ?

My iPhone 5s is still asking for the password in the App Store.
I just got the iPhone 5s yesterday. I setup the fingerprint scanner wich works great aside from one thing, It always asks me for my itunes password in the App Store. I have turned on the correct setting and I have updated to iOS 7.0.1. I have restrictions turned on since my kids use the phone alot. When I turn off restrictions everything works fine. This is definitely a bug. I asume apple will address this in an update soon, but has anyone found a fix for this?
It's not a bug. If restriction is on, what do you expect?
iPhone is meant for a single user, so if restrictions is set, you cannot use Touch ID to buy. -

A while back I had to set up a second apple ID in order to use the iCloud. So now I have two (annoying), and from what I'm reading on forums, this has happened to many people and you still can't merge accounts. But I digress.
Apparently the apps in question were purchased on one apple ID, but the phone had the other apple ID set within the app store. The store, it seems, will only update the apps if you're logged in as the account that initially purchased the apps. So it means going to Settings > Store > Log out, then log back in with the other ID. Annoying. But at least I know, now, what's going on.
The password, it seems, was right all along (since I have the same password for both IDs). Too bad the phone's error message told me the password was incorrect, instead of saying something more useful like "This apple ID is not authorized to update this app." Or ... something like that. Apparently I've been chasing down the wrong solution due to the wrong error message being given. -
Forgot the password to delete app store
i've made a password diffrent from my apple ID password to delete app store and other locked apps and now i forgott it. Can i reset the password?
Not without remembering it, that is what makes a password secure.
If you have Find My turned on in Settings > iCloud you can use your Apple ID and password to turn that off, and then you can restore to factory condition, that is erase all content and settings, to get rid of the other password. There is no way to change it without having it. -

If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in the country where you and your iTunes account are to get the questions reset.

Changed my email address, confirmed my password. The App Store has old email address and does not recognize the password?
Easy fix... it's a refresh issue. Sign out and back in with changed name.

ThanksYou would have to move to the U.S. and find a place to live. Then you would have to get a credit card billed to that U.S address. Then, as long as you were inside the borders of the U.S., you could buy from the U.S store.

Zooming in on different parts of screen
I have turned Zoom on in Preferences, though I am not sure how to zoom in on different parts of my screen. What are the keyboard shortcuts for doing this? I want to be able to demo things on an overhead projector and zoom in on the areas.
Thanks.If you have a mouse will a scroll wheel or scroll ball, you simply hold down the control key on your keyboard and scroll up to zoom in. Hold control and scroll down to zoom out.

You do know tht if you created a new Apple ID - that is different than changing the Apple ID. Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase. If the old ID is popping up, it seems like that ID is rid to the apps indicating that you created a new ID. Of course, I could be wrong or misunderstanding what you're saying as well.
If you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap your old ID and sign out and then sign in with the new ID, that should be all that you need to do, if you changed the ID. If you created a new ID, that will not work. -
Imac showing mosaic/torn video on screen in itunes & various apps
Hello-
I have a 24" alum. imac 2.4 GHz that I purchased in February of this year. I left the imac in sleep mode last night and was using it this a.m.- everything was fine for about 2 hours and then my screen started showing this mosaic/torn video pattern in every single app I had open.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the issue?
