Level 1 alerts not working

Hello,
I have very recently started using a Q5 as my work phone (on 10.2.1.2102).
I receive many emails, some of which I need to be alerted about urgently.
So to do this I believe I need to use the Priority Hub.
I have set up a priority hub rule to filter everything from a certain email address into the priority hub, and issue a Level 1 alert.
This works to an extent. The messages from the email address specified appear in red text within the priority hub, but the phone does not vibrate or alarm, like it configured to in the Level 1 alert screen.
In my rule I have "Enable Level 1 Alert" ticked, and within the "Level 1 Alerts Notification Settings" screen, I have 'Sound' set to on, and the sound/vibrate setup correctly. Still, I get no sound or vibration.
Is there something I'm missing? Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

Item level security not working when placed in a portlet page

I have three page links linking to separate pages and have two of them with item level security turned on for specific groups with view privilges. I have the access for those groups with view privilges in the page level as well. I have published that as portlet and placed the portlet in another page which has view priviliges for the groups specified in item level as well.
But I notice that when i place the portlet in a page, the item level security is not working.

Would you please clarify for me? Is the problem that unauthorized people can see the portlet, or that unauthorized people can see the links?

Why are my alerts not working?

Why are my alerts not working? Sometimes the alerts work and other times I have to manually retrieve messages.

You can set alerts at verizonwireless.com, and you can set alerts on most smartphones as well, and those can be highly customized as to when you are alerted.
Go to settings, data usage, and there are/should be options to view, limit, and alert you as to your mobile data usage on the phone itself.

6300 & Lotus Notes - Calander Alert Not Working

Hi I have an O2 6300 & Lotus Notes ( v6 )and the phones calander alert not working / going off when it should.
I've not changed any thing that I am aware of from the defaults and its less than a week or two old so I'm hoping its not a software OS bug and a user issue / some thing I have to switch on some where.
Can any one help me ?

Level 1 Alerts Not Working On BB Pearl.......Please help!

Hi all,
I used to have level 1 alerts on my BB to notify me of special emails that I needed to respond to urgently. Recently my company got acquired and we changed over to a new Exchange Server with a new Enterprise Activation (which wiped my BB completely before restoring all the data again).
In the process, I lost all my level 1 alerts. I installed Desktop Manager (4.2) and tried to setup again using my old .rfi files but this has not worked. The Desktop Manager confirms all ok but when I test my BB does nothing at all. Originally I would have had a special tone (Sonar, I love that tone! Sad I know!) and the BB would vibrate and the messages would be in RED. Now, nothing happens. I have set the level 1 messages to Sonar & Vibrate but nothing happens (and it's not on mute!).
I have also downloaded Desktop Manager 5.0 to see if that does anything but that's not working either.
I'm hoping that someone else has had this issue in the past and has overcome it by doing something simple that I have overlooked. Can anyone help? I'm quite desperate.

You might wanna search for the thread where I asked for a SelctCmDevices example.. then use that as a starting point. That's how I finally managed to get things working on my CCM 5.1 and 6.1.

IPhone 6 Plus LED alert not working.

I have always used the iPhone's LED flashing alert to notify me when I get a call or text message. While I was on iOS 8 Beta 2-4 it was working fine. I did a clean install of the complete iOS 8 release and ever since then, the flash alert doesn't work.
Sometimes it will work on incoming calls, but will not work on text messages. I've tried soft/hard rebooting, clean wipe and fresh installs, and pretty much anything in between. Now, today I got my 128GB Gold ATT iPhone 6 Plus, and it's the same thing. Updated to iOS 8.1, reset everything/deleted all contents and settings. Both fresh install, and iCloud backups and still no alerts on text messages, but now I get them on calls. I tried my girls ATT 128GB iPhone 6 and she has the same problem too. My old phone was a 64GB iPhone 5S and hers was a 32GB iPhone 5. Everything was good until the official release of iOS 8.
I've tried searching for related issues, and haven't found anything since 2011 with a quick Google search. Most links just tell you how to turn the flash alert on but no new issues. All of my devices are on iOS 8.1. I gave my father my 64GB 5S with a clean install and he still has the issue as well. So, that makes my iPhone 6 Plus, my girls iPhone 6 and my fathers iPhone 5S not flashing LED on messages and sometimes calls. There aren't any custom vibrations enabled on any if the devices. Query level filter not working in Webi report

Hi All,
I am using BOXI R3.1 (SP3), m facing one problem when refreshing Webi report on daily basis. I am using three query level filter as a prompt, but i checked one filter is not working then i need to reapply this filter and rest 2 filter is working fine.
Can anyone suggest me why problem is coming?

Prompts are interactive, and come from the query panel. Filters are not interactive, and are set on the report or block. There are also input controls, which are interactive filters
1. Select the universe in the list of universes to open the Query Panel.
2. Drag the Year object to the Result Objects pane.
3. Drag the Number of Guests object to the Query Filters pane and create a report filter that restricts Number of Guests to greater than n.
4. Click Combined Query.
The Combined Query pane appears in the bottom left of the Query panel with the two queries joined by UNION.
5. Click on the second query and remove the Year and Number of Guests objects.
6. Drag the Reservation Year object to the Result Objects pane.
7. Drag the Future Guests object to the Query Filters pane and create a report filter that restricts the future guests to greater than n.
8. Click Run Query.

Object Level security not working on OBIEE 11g 11.1.1.7

Hi,
I am experiencing problems with object level security applied on application role in 11.1.1.7 version. If i create a user and assign that user to a application role and give that application role permission to Access Answers in Manage previleges, it is not working. If i directly add a user to permission list in Manage previleges section then user is able to access the answers. I added that application role in "Access to Answers" section in Manage previleges section. Permission for Authenticated users is denied.
We recently upgraded from 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.7. Please can someone confirm if it a bug in 11.1.1.7 or it is because of the upgrade process.

I have just verified the below scenario as you said but didnt find any issue.
I have just created a User, Group and Applictaion Role under default authentication provider . Assigned user under group and group under newly created application role and provided access to answers for new application role under manage privilages and I am able see it.
This might not be a 11.1.1.7 bug check it from upgrade end.

Security is set up using /crystal/rls transaction. A custom auth object is used for checking the company code with a single field "BUKRS".
This custom auth object is maintained for the PA0001 table.
This object is added at the role level with the restricted access to the Company Code..

Ringtones and BBM alerts not working

Hi, I have created several custom ringtones and phone alerts on both mine and my husbands new BB 9320's . These were working just fine for the first few weeks but now the custom BBM alerts will not work on my phone but the custom ringtones do work. Instead of the custom alert I've selected the alert sound for the normal profile is the one that sounds. However the custom alerts DO work for text messages ! Just not BBM !
My husbands phone has the exact opposite problem, BBM alerts work, ringtones don't !
The problem seems to have happened after I had installed some various Apps . So I uninstalled all those apps and I've done both a soft reboot and battery pull on each phone trying to fix this. I also deleted those contacts and their custom alert set-ups and re-added everything from scratch, rebooted again, still nothing. It's been like this for a few weeks now, I just can't figure it out . Please help !

Sound alerts not working in Mail and Ichat apps since upgrade to 10.4.9

I just noticed my Sound alets not working in Mail and Ichat apps since upgrade to 10.4.9.
I'm using soundsticks which is playing sounds thru quicktime, itunes, etc but my alert sounds for getting new emails and IM messages is not working. I get the quick "white flash" on the screen instead. I checked the prefs on both apps and it is set to give me the alert sound, I can even test it in the ichat pref when I change the new message alert sound it will play it thru my speakers but when I get a new message in either app it just gives me the white flash.
I'm read that it can be an issue of not having the balance in the system sound pref set the middle, so I checked that, restarted, all that but still no luck.
I really like the sound alert features because I can be in another part of my house, turn the sound way up and I'll know when one of my clients is trying to reach me but now I can't do that.
Any ideas?

Alerts not working when formula is in the cell

I am having a problem where my alerts are not working in the preview mode. They work fine when I hard code the alert range. But I need the alert to change under differnt conditions and I am using an IF statement
the formula is simple
=IF('TXF Inputs'!D27=3, C34/2, C34)
output is either 0.375 or 0.375/2 = 0.1875
if i hardcode the cell with either of these values the alert works, but it does not work with the formula. The confusing part is that I have other alerts that have IF statements in them and they all work.
They also work fine in the main screen, ie it shows yellow if my default values =0.1875, but then when I preview or publish they don't work

OEM 9i Alerts not working

Hello, i am trying to get OEM to alert me when a specified user log on to the database. I set up an event ans specify a user audit and a specific user. I then log into the database and no alert is sent out. Any ideas why this is not working. The event shows as registered status. I have is scheduled to run every 5 minutes.

E52 msg alerts not working

            Hi, I bought a nokia e 52 phone on 7th october.my phone was fine for the first few weeks nd then the message alerts stopped working.The problem is the message is recieved in the inbox but the phone does not show that it has recieved a message.This is happening in all profiles.If it is in general and outdoor profiles there is no response from the phone,even in silent it does not vibrate.To solve this problem t have to restart my phone everytime when this problem occours.this problem was not there for me before the software update.
             can any one help me out with this please.i have tried doing reinstallation of phone software with nokia software updater.But that dint solve my problem. one more problem is that phone gets hung up when i answer a call.My phone comes back to normal state after a while.hope nokia will soon give a software update nd resolve the problems.

Do you have a very high no. of messages stored in the phone ? If so delete max. possible.. Incude all the sub-folders in the 'Messaging' folder..

Pantech Hotshot Alerts Not Working

I recently started using our son's Pantech Hotshot and cannot get the alarms and calender alerts to work. The volume is at max and there is a specific tone selected for each. I have taken out the battery and took off the vibration for the alerts. It still is not working. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Periodics Oracle Alerts not working

Dear All,
we are using Oracle11.5.10.2 on AIX 5.3 and Oracle Schedule Alerts are not working ,we need to schedule manually ,what will be the issue.
we scheduled every day once but it is not running on schedule time.
