Levels not correctly visualized
Hello, I'm using Discoverer v. 10.1.2, and my database version is 10g r. 1 (10.1.0.4.2). My olap objects are in CWM2 catalog.
When I build a new crosstab, the levels of my dimensions are not correctly visualized: for example, a node of a level that has children shows his children correctly, but his son (that has children too) doesn't show his children.
Is this a bug of Discoverer ? Is there a solution or patch ?

Please check if you have any media connected to your iMac when you shut it down. Any volumes connected under /Volumes/?

Acer 5750G 15.6 screen display not correct
as described in the subject, screen display is not correct after I installed xorg, xfce4.
when start xfce4, the screen only show part of the whole desktop.
the bottom part of the desktop is black, the whole thing moves upwards, so I cannot see menus which should be up on the top.
I add one new conf in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf
with modes 1366x768_75.00
What else should I set in xorg conf ?

Acer5750G, support 2 video cards, one is integrated(Intel), another is Nvidia GT630M(1G).

Issue  1)
Tax calculation is not correct in the PO, tax tab
a) JMIP is appearing 12% in condition amount, (as per condition record) but condition value is Zero, (Not calculated by the FI Pricing procedure). Screen shot for Pricing procedure, PO taxes and condition record given below.
b) JIPC Sales tax 4% in condition amount (as per condition record) , calculated by the FI Pricing procedure is 8%, condition value is Rs 8 instead of Rs 4

Issue  2)
While creating Goods receipt aginst PO (Tax code V2 in PO). Movement type 101, Excise tab appears at Header and Item level and we need to put the Vendors Excise Invoice and date, nothing is copied from the PO for Excise duty & sales tax.
Now we put the values for ED and Sales tax manually in the MIGO and saved the document. While display material document, excise tab is not there i.e. no excise related activiy is captured here in goods receipt.

1.Check the condition types JMIP & JMIC in IMG - Financial accting New - FI AC Global settings - Taxes on sales and purchases - Check calculation procedure - Define condition type.
2.The condition types you have used are defined for non deductible taxes i.e., it gets inventorised, added to the material account.And also the accural key assigned to this condition types are NVV - defined for non ded input taxes.
3.Instead the condition types defined by SAP Standard system for BED & ST are JMOP & JIPS and the accurals assigned to this are VS1 & VS5.

When using TODATE function MDX query is not correctly generated.
This leads to unexpected values not only on cumulative columns in report (generated with TODATE), but also other columns (calculated with AGO function or directly read from cube) have incorrect values.
The problem occurs when you filter on a column that is not in the select list. If you filter on just one level of dimension, results are fine. You can filter on multiple dimensions as long as you filter on just one level of each dimension.
If you filter on two or more levels of one dimension, than results are not correct. In some cases results for TODATE column are all zeros, in some cases it is a random value returned by Essbase (same random value for all rows of that column), and in some cases BI Server returns an error:
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. Essbase Error: Network error [10054]: Cannot Send Data (HY000).

If you remove part with TODATE function, the results are fine. If you leave TODATE function, OBIEE returns an error mentioned above. If you manually modify variable SOLVE_ORDER and set value to, for example, 100 instead of AGGREGATION_SOLVEORDER, results are OK.

The first qty for the material 10102883 was (assigned to Store) was posted on 01/16/2007.Why does the 01/2004 - 12/2006 shows as -4 and why does 01/2007 shows as 0.I have loaded BX [With 'NO MARKER UPDATE' Indicator NOT set] and the loaded History BF [With 'NO MARKER UPDATE' Indicator SET] .Marker Update etc is correct.

Most of the materials display the stock in the Bex correctly.Few of them (UOM) with EA (each- UOM) is behaving strangely.

Other SDN-thread "500 Internal Sever - Flat Mode is not Supported!" related to transaction RSRT.
Execution of query via RSRT works, but the problem still persists in the BEx Web Analyzer.
Could be related to a BEx Web Analyzer "bookmark" ("Personalize Web Application").
I have not deleted any item. We use SAP BW 7.0 with a patch level approx. 09.2009.
The "flat-mode" seems to be the "BEx table mode".
SAP hints do not seem to fit here:

After the Windows 2008 R2 64 bit server got below 2 updates a network share is no longer available. And trying to remap it with correct credentials (that work on a Windows 8.1 64 bit) gives this error: "System error 86 has occurred. The specified network
password is not correct."
Local Policies -> Security Options -> Network Security: LAN Manager Authentication Level
is already set to "LM and NTLM - use NTLMV2 session security if negotiated"
In fact this is how it was working earlier. And it hasn't been changed.

while monitoring AE I observed AE URL is not correct. My server name is ServerXX
Then, I should see the URL for testing my message in RWB as below.
http://ServerXX:50000/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/
But it is showing ServerYY which i am not sure where this come from.
Can anybody tell me where this server name picks by AE in RWB. So that i can check and change.

I've created a simple MOLAP dimension with a default hierarchy and one level within it.
I've maped it to source table, deployed and loaded it. I can see its data.

When I trying to derive definitions I receive an error in wizard: Derivation Source object, <DIMENSION_NAME>, is not correctly bound.
As result, there are no business definitions there.
This problem goes with all my MOLAP dimensions.

Are you trying to Derive this into the Business Defintions area? In that case, this is not supported. For MOLAP objects you can use Discoverer and use an OLAP connection, then you will see your dimensions as query objects.
Derive only works for relational objects (e.g. ROLAP storage), and that is why you get that error (not bound) as the MOLAP object is not bound to a table.

EIBCALEN not correctly informed in TMA-CRM environment

We have found that the EIBCALEN field is not correctly informed in the program invoked from DFHMIRS when invoked from a tpcall from Tuxedo.
The IEBCALEN value is always higher than the length informed in both lengths (ilen and olen) of the tpcall with CARRAY type. In fact, ilen=olen, in our case.
What is wrong? why EIBCALEN is not equal to ilen=olen?
Our setup is this one:
Red Hat Linux x86_64
Application runs in a 'Tuxedo Version 12.1.1.0, 32-bit, Patch Level 015' that executes tpcall to Mainframe.32 bits is a constraint of the app

Report total not correct: Hierarchy top node total is different to the levels below.
Eg: parent total is 1 but all the individual totals below add to more then 1.
Its reporting from Mulitprovider. It was working two weeks ago fine, no system changes have been made.

The Infocube contains the following data:

The hierarchie says:

reflecting the fact that german and french are both spoken in the Swiss.
If you create a query you will get the following results für ZPOPULATION:

As you see: the difference is 10. This is what I meant.
In your case this seems pretty odd. Perhaps in your case the problem has something to do with the aggregation method. Is it possible that the key figure you use has a "min" aggregation, or perhaps an exceptional aggregation of "min" ? -
Levels, not Curves in CS6
Using CS6, try to open a curves adjustment layer...the way I have for years...levels opens. Will not correct. Have to close the app and reopen. Impossible to find on internet. What's up?
He's baaaack! My machine died, wife had terrible accident. I've not been able to do anything with my photography for months. Just got new computer, reloaded cs6. Working a large stitch. Needs lots of curve adjustments. Try curves, get levels. I had this on my old machine, have it on my new machine. First time I did curves this time, I went three curves layers before getting levels. Now get all the time. I have tried to create a curves layer every way possible...or at least the three I know of. No love. I have to shut down every time I want to make a curves layer, then get only one shot. Next curves layer is a levels.
Does no one from Adobe look at this forum?? This has to be a problem with the application. New computer...virgin...nothing other than AVG virus protection package and other adobe products...Lightroom 5 (I had 4 on my old machine). Bridge cs6. Really, someone at Adobe ought to know how to fix this. Now. I first brought this problem forward in March; it's September. Others have had it. None of the suggested "fixes"...which I appreciate...work. It's time for Adobe to speak up!
Oh yeah...I'm on a Dell XPS 8500, Intel i7, Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 gig RAM, 64 bit OS.

Are you trying to set the batch flag at the same time?
If so you need to set the configuration for batch management to indicate if batches are to be unique at the plant level etc.

IPhone/iTouch "password not correct" on home WiFi
This problem reads like many others threads but I haven't really seen an answer - Do Apple Employees Administrate these forums??
I have an iTouch and an iPhone 3Gs both now on os4 but this prob has happened through last 3 firmware versions.
They both connect to the home WiFi, but wont remain connected and will ask for the WiFi Password followed by a Password Not Correct message. You can continue to input the password and occasionally it is accepted or you can power cycle the router but both are temp fixes as the Apple's will drop back off again (sometimes minutes later or hours later). I have exhausted my efforts with the router (firmware upgrades and every combination of security setting) Other devices (laptop, wii etc)don't have any WiFi issues. In saying that, the iPhone stays connected to the work WiFi no problems.
I have tried WEP and WPA security. I've enabled MAC Address filtering which didn't help but after reading one of the threads I have disabled WiFi security and have MAC Address filtering enabled and it seems to be holding up (only attempted a couple of hours ago.) Is this a secure workaround or does someone know what I need to do? I'd prefer not to use this method as it's handy to let visiting friends/family use my WiFi.
The router is a Linksys WRT54GP2 and the signal level is high throughout the house and always seen by the Apple's

I have the same router, and my iPod, dads iPhone, and 2 other apple macbooks always had troubles with the router. A temp fix would be restarting the router, but keyword here is temp.

I recall I upgraded from version 1.00 ages back but that did nothing.

You can implement the correction instructions that are contained in an SAP Note. If you have modified the objects that you need to correct, you can adjust the corrections to your modifications.
Procedure
To implement the correction instructions in an SAP Note in your system, select the note on the initial screen of Note Assistant and choose Implement Note.
The system first checks which correction instructions in the SAP Note correspond to your system release and Support Package level.
The system also checks whether you need to have implemented corrections from any other SAP Notes as a prerequisite for implementing the current correction. If this is the case, the system displays the SAP Notes in question in a dialog box.
If you have an RFC connection to SAP, you can automatically download these SAP Notes by confirming the dialog box.
If this is not the case, load the prerequisite SAP Notes from the SAP Service Marketplace and use the Note Assistant to upload them.
If these SAP Notes are relevant for your system and have to be implemented as prerequisites, they will be listed in the order in which they need to be implemented. (See also: SAP Note Queue). If the prerequisite SAP Notes are not relevant (because they have already been implemented by way of a Support Package, for example) and therefore do not need to be implemented, Note Assistant will automatically assign the corresponding status and will not display the respective SAP Notes in the list. You can find these SAP Notes by calling the Note Browser and selecting according to the processing status Not relevant.
If possible, the system will implement all prerequisite corrections in one single step.
Before the system corrects the objects, it displays a dialog box for selecting the change request.
Select a suitable change request, or create a new one.
The SAP Note (R3TR NOTE) is entered in this request, together with all the correction instructions (R3TR CINS) and all modified objects, . You can use this request to transport the corrections into other follow-on systems.
Note that all the objects that you want to correct must be entered in the same request as the SAP Note data. This is the only way to make sure that the corrections are made in full in the follow-on systems.
A dialog box appears listing all the objects that you want to modify.
A traffic light symbol indicates whether or not the system can implement the correction automatically. (See Confirming Correction Implementation).
Clicking the name of the object takes you to the Changes Display, which shows you all of the changes.
If you have previously modified the source texts that you want to correct, the SAP Note is flagged with a yellow icon. You can adjust the corrections to your modifications. See Splitscreen Editor.
This type of adjustment is not possible for non-source text type repository objects or subobjects. You must perform any adjustments that may be required in the relevant object editor, either before or after the Note implementation.
If you make manual changes when you implement SAP Notes, the system cannot tell whether these corrections have been implemented correctly. For this reason, you must confirm in an additional dialog box that the corrections have been implemented in full.
If the system cannot implement a correction automatically, although you have not modified the relevant objects, first try to implement the SAP Note by using the split-screen editor. If automatic implementation fails, this is usually due to minor discrepancies in the source code.
If you still cannot implement the SAP Note, it probably contains errors. If this is the case, contact SAP Support. To do this, create a problem message and assign it to the component for the SAP Note (FI-AR-CR, for example).
When you confirm the dialog box containing the list of repository objects to be corrected, the system initially saves the modified objects in the database as inactive versions only. In the dialog step that follows, the system then asks you to activate the modified objects. The corrections only take effect in your system after you have performed this activation.
As part of this activation procedure, the system checks the syntax of the modified objects. If an error is found, the system cancels activation. Syntax errors of this kind can be caused either by modifications or by errors in the Note. If the latter applies, contact SAP Support.
Note that the system can only automatically implement changes made to certain object types. (See Technical Details on Correction Instructions)
If other changes are necessary (for example, to ABAP Dictionary objects), these are described in the text of the SAP Note. You need to implement these changes in the system manually.
After you have implemented the corrections, test the function that contained the error and check whether the original problem has now been solved.
You can display all the objects that have been corrected by the SAP Note. To do this, choose Corrected Objects. The modification browser appears.
Set the processing status to Completed.
In exceptional cases you can remove implemented correction instructions. The changes that you implemented are then reset. The SAP Note remains in your system and is reset to the status that it had before you implemented it.
To do this, choose Reset SAP Note Implementation.
If you have successfully solved your problem by implementing the SAP Note, release the change request that was created when you implemented the correction instructions.
This transports the corrections and SAP Note data into the follow-on systems in your system landscape.
In spau,
all modified objects can be further edited using the Object -> Change function. This does, however, not apply to modifications made with the Modification Assistant and to objects in note corrections which have not yet been adjusted. In these cases, you must first perform the release upgrade adjustment.

Updating delivery quantity irrespectuve of errors using Std FM's
Hi all, Im need to update the quantity for an inbound delivery.I tried using FM "BBP_INB_DELIVERY_UPDATE".But it gives different results for dfferent Inbound delivries.For some the update happens while for some it doesnt. The main problem is it does
