Dear Mamta,
Thank you very much for your support. I already tried what you
mention, but still without success. I downloaded again the x1100 all
in one driver but still I can't print.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Hernan

I purchased the Apple airport express that connects
multiple
wireless-networked PCs to a usb printer.
is there a driver that can make this work?. I configured
the printer
according to the manual, received a test page and so on, but now it
takes ages to start printing and printing never gets to 100%
completion but to 99%. I am not able to cancel printing jobs and this
is a whole mess.

  • Elements 8 does not support USB 2.0 Webcams?

From what I've gathered Adobe Premiere Elements 8 does not support USB 2.0 Webcams, only supporting USB 1.0 .  Is there a driver or something to allow support for USB 2.0 Webcams?
    - I have an Xbox Live Vision Camera.
    - Windows 7 Professional (Awesome)
    - Adobe Premiere Elements 8 trial version
I don't wat to buy this until I know my webcam will work.  I liked the onion skinning ability of Adobe, but if I can't get my webcam to work it doesn't really help.
    Thanks.

USB Web-cams pose all sorts of problems for most NLE programs. One possibility would be to use the capture software that came with the camera, of other, and then using the files in PrE. Depending on what the potential capture formats/CODEC's are available, conversion might be required.
    Good luck,

AirPort Utility in Mountain Lion will not support the older versions of the AirPort Express.....model numbers A1084 and A1088. Check on the side of the Express for the model number.
In addition, AirPort Utility in Mountain Lion will not support the older "round" or "dome" shaped versions of the AirPort Extreme.
Can you check to see how your devices might be affected?

    Hi,
When building a component, I'm getting the following error:

To be more precise, one dc uses another from a public part that is "assembly" - so it's made the way it should be (both dc's are libraries, one java dc and the second one is server library)

    Hi,
we are with NWDS 7.20 but afaik the "J2EE Server Component Library" in your version was replaced by Enterprise Application DCs in the meantime, so it is quite simple:
An assambly PP on a J2EE Server Component Library really does not make sense. The J2EE Server Component Library is the final assembly unit. You may use such a DC in two ways:
    1. You want to use the classes that are bundled into the J2EE Server Component Library for compilation in another DC (Java or EJB). To achieve this you may create a COMPILATION PP on the J2EE Server Component Library that references compilation PP e.g. of your  java DC. (The alternative is to let the using java DC directly reference the compilation PP of your Java DC.)
    2. You have another assembly unit - e.g. an Enterprise application or another J2EE Server Component Library - that needs the classes in your J2EE Server Component Library at runtime. This is done by an application reference (in 7.20 defined in META-INF/application-j2ee-engine.xml of the DC that uses your J2EE Server Component Library). At runtime, the result is that your (initial) J2EE Server Component Library is the "parent class loader" of a using DC.
So indeed, there is no need for a PP of type assembly for a J2EE Server Component Library. This DC does not contrubute anything for assembly into another DC.
Rework your dependencies and PPs. I can pair my iPhone 4 with my MacBook and my Macbook Pro but they will not connect. My iPhone keeps telling me it does not support this even with bluetooth turned on.The devices section keeps searching all the time. Is this an antenna problem? Or something else ?

Your iphone is right, it is not supported. The iphone's bluetooth protocols do not include file transfer, but are intendes only for headsets, stereo headphones, cars, and keyboards.

From my mysql database, I want to allow the user to run a query and produce a csv / text file of our membership database.   Unfortunately,  I just found out my hosting company does not support the SQL query with OUTFILE clause for MySQL database.
Are there any other options available to produce a file besides me running the query in phpadmin and making the file available to users.

  • Ios email app does not support user name with multiple "."

I have two gmail email addresses and have both set up on my ipad, however the ios email app cannot connect to the gmail server for one of the two accounts. Account settings are strictly identical and connection from the Gmail app works fine. The only difference I could find between the two accounts is that the one with connection issues uses a format of "[email protected]" whereas the one that works fine is "[email protected]". Is it a known bug that the ios app does not support the first format?
    Thanks

Yes, double dots/periods are not allowed.

  • My Satellite A100 does not support SDHC cards with the internal card reader

    Hi,
My satelite A100 does not support my sandisk 4 GB SDHC card.
"normal" SD cards are not a problem with the internal card reader, and there are no problems with the sandisk 4 GB SDHC card using a external card reader.
    is there a software solution?
    regrads,
    Itock

I do not have time to read users manuals for your notebook model but all supported cards can be listed there. I suppose SDHC is not listed and not supported.
I do not know what you mean with software solution but, as far as I know, update for multimedia card reader is not available.

  • Print with Airport Express

I've just buyed a new printer (HP Laserjet Pro 300 Color m351a) and installed new HP drivers in my Macbook Pro (with OSX 10.9 Mavericks) and when I connect the USB cable to the Airport Express (first model) to use it wireless I'm not able to see her in printer menu.
When I connect the printer directly to the Mac works fine
    Can anybody help me?

Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. In addition, the  AirPort's USB port does not support the "advanced" printer functions, like scanning, copying or faxing, of multi-function printers.
To see if your printer is compatible, take a look at this iFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility link. If your printer isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified. iFelix also provides the following workaround for printers not on the list that would certainly be worth a try.
Also you can try this Apple Tech Support article to see if it will help: Printer troubleshooting for AirPort Base Stations and Time Capsule
Finally, check out this IBM support article to see if your printer is listed as having a Postscript or PCL3 interface. If it does, then it will most likely work with the AirPort's USB port. Printers that use the "HP LIDIL" interface must be connected to a computer directly and will not work.

  • USB printer on Airport Express via Bonjour: print queue no longer works

This is a variation of similar postings on this forum, but hopefully provides more information to allow others to pinpoint the problem.
Have been using Intel iMac 10.4.8 now upgraded to 10.4.10. Two printers attached: 1 via USB and a 2nd via USB/Bonjour on Airport Express. Both working flawlessly. 2 days ago, an ADSL Internet outage occurred. When this was reestablished an hour or so later, everything was back to normal, EXCEPT that the USB/Bonjour/Airport printer no longer works. When jobs are sent to it, the printer queue stops and a red "!" appears in the dock on the queue. Restarting the queue just brings back the red "!" again.
Have done all the usual things:
    1. Checked cables, restarted iMac, restarted printer, reset Airport.
    2. Have confirmed the printer works find if moved to a direct USB port. So the problem is not the printer.
    3. Have upgraded the Airport firmware to 6.3. Works just fine as a network access point. So the problem is not the Airport itself.
    4. Have deleted, added the printer, renamed the printer - none of these things helped (this was suggested by some postings on the forum)
    5. Have tried every combination of which item is powered up first (this was suggested by some postings on this forum)
Have confirmed (by checking CUPS Error Log, as well as by Internet Connection Diagnostics) that the problem is that the iMac can no longer connect to the printer when printing on the local host if it is connected via USB/Bonjour/Airport. However, it can find the printer for adding a printer during setup. So Bonjour is working, but the printing is not.
There are lots of similar postings of people having problems with printers previously working, but then stopping working on an Airport Expresss/Extreme. I hope the above scenario, which is a very simple network topology, and the fact that the iMac and printer and Airport all work correctly on their own, is of help. It does look as if the problem is in the Airport Extreme, and was triggered by the WAN outage, and not fixed by printer reinstallation or firmware upgrade.
Looking forward to someone with a clever suggestion...
    LeslieB

What did you use to discover the printers on both Mac and PC. Did you use Bonjour for both?

  • Printing with Airport Express as Base Station

That is, I think our Airport Express is our base station. It's the only thing we have, and we can connect to the internet just fine, but it doesn't show up in the Airport Utility.
The main problem is printing through the Airport Express. Our printer prints fine when plugged into the USB on the ibook but it won't print from the USB on the Airport Express.
We can see the printer located on our wireless network but when we try to print the print center says that printing has stopped with an error of level one, or category one or something. I do see the appropriate printer driver on the list when I add the printer (I think it's an Epson C40ux, but I'm doing this from memory) and that's set correctly. I've got the unofficial list of printers that work and don't work and I see that some printers may need other drivers to work from the wireless network. There must be other things to check, but I'm a little new at this. It seems like this would be a common problem but I'm not seeing many posts like this so if anyone has a moment and any ideas I'd be grateful. Thanks. Mark
Ibook   Mac OS X (10.4.2)   Airport Express

Thanks... I will try that first. I've also been advised to delete the network and add a new one with the printer connected... but your idea is simpler.

  • [SOLVED] cups 1.6 does not find usb printer

    Hello,
Since I have upgraded to cups 1.6 I can't add a usb printer. Whenever I click on "Find new printer" in the administration web interface, no printer is found.
Printer is a Samsung ML 1640 which worked flawlessly with versions before 1.6.

/usr/lib/cups/backend/usb returns with no error, but no printer is found (according to web interface)
But when I start /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb manually i get following output:
    DEBUG: list_devices
    DEBUG: libusb_get_device_list=12
DEBUG2: Printer found with device ID: MFG:Samsung;CMD:GDI;MDL:ML-1640 Series;CLS:PRINTER;STATUS:IDLE; Device URI: usb://Samsung/ML-1640%20Series?serial=144QBAHS311415Y.
    direct usb://Samsung/ML-1640%20Series?serial=144QBAHS311415Y. "Samsung ML-1640 Series" "Samsung ML-1640 Series" "MFG:Samsung;CMD:GDI;MDL:ML-1640 Series;CLS:PRINTER;STATUS:IDLE;" ""
Why does this new printer not show up in the web interface?
When i add the printer manually via lpadmin
    lpadmin -p ml1640 -v usb://Samsung/ML-1640%20Series?serial=144QBAHS311415Y -P /usr/share/cups/model/samsung/ml1640.ppd
I can start a print job but then I only see following job-state in the web interface:
"Waiting for printer to become available."
Any advice how to get printing working again?
    Greetings

I stepped back to the last version and nothing worked. Whats wrong?!?
Hooked the printer up at another machine and it worked out of the box after installing cups.
Tailed messages.log when attaching the usb cable and found differences.
Running udevd --debug showed, that the culprit was:
    aur/android-udev
Removed that package and everything works.
Well...  except: now every 5 seconds i have following output in messages.log:
    Aug 19 15:25:35 spt08 kernel: [355081.778863] usblp1: removed
    Aug 19 15:25:35 spt08 kernel: [355081.789091] usblp1: USB Bidirectional printer dev 7 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04E8 pid 0x3292
But that problem has to wait

  • HP PSC 1410 not printing with Airport Express

I have just purchased this printer. I'm running Tiger on a Powerbook G4.
When I set up the printer with a direct USB connection to my computer, the printer is added with the driver "HP All-in-One 3.0.1" automatically chosen. It works just fine.
When I plug in the printer to my Airport Express, the same All-in-One driver is automatically offered. I chose it, and the printer is added to my list of printers no problem. However, it just won't print. It tries to start the print job, and then the printer icon bounces in the dock with a big red exclamation mark. I try to click on start print job, and the same thing happens - it tries to start the job, but then just stops and the exclamation mark appears.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?
    Thanks
    Theresa

The PSC 1410 is not on the list of known compatible printers found at http://www.efelix.co.uk/tech/1013.html - which may very well explain the problem.

  • Wireless printing with Airport Express not working

I set up my Airport Express. I have an HP photojet printer and I can print from my Mac Air but the other 3 windows-based laptops that are connecting to Airport Express can't. Anyone know why that is or how to fix it?

You did install and run Bonjour for Windows on each PC, correct?
Does Bonjour "see" the printer...and it won't install....or.....does Bonjour not "see" the printer at all?
    Just in case.....
Bonjour Print Services for Windows v2.0.2 - Support - Apple
