Lexmark E232 prints supplies levels report

Every time I view the supply levels of my printer it reports wrongly low levels for my photo drum and then spools a "Supplies Levels" report which prints just a few garbage character at the top of the page.

"print quality diagnostic report"

I have a HP Deskjet 3520 All-in-one printer and I just went to the "HP Deskjet 3520 series toolbox". Under the first tab (Device Services) is the button "Print Quality Diagnostics Page". I then clicked on that button and got the "Print Quality Diagnostic Report".
However i can not find anything that tells me what all the diagnostics mean.
attached is the document that I am talking about.
Questions:
1. The Magenta shows lines in the top of the lines on the top of the report but these go away at the bottom. Do I need to run a clean head cycle or seeing as that cartridge is low on ink just replace it?
2. In the bars of solid colors the light yellow (the bottom bar) has a white streak through it. Again I know it is low on ink. Is the issue there the ink level or does the head need cleaning?
3. Below those bars are numbered items about the printer but what does PHA mean? (Print Head Assembly?)
4. Number 22 in that list is PHA Drops. What does that mean?
Does anyone know where I can go to get answers to these questions?
Any and all help is appreciated.

it is not possible to reflect INVOICE numbers on the 'Print Incoming Payments' report(in repetitive area).
but its is possible to reflect all invoice no with amount in Page footer on Print incoming Payments Print.
Use this System Variable - 130 in Page footer.
OR
If you need to print the invoice no & total in incoming payments row level print.
Try to Create a Query Report and design the Query PLD.

Unable to disable Cover Page printing on standard report

HI Experts,
I would like to exclude the cover page printing of standard transaction code S_ALR_87009895 's report.
The preview comes out fine (without the cover page) but when it is sends to the spool and then preview at SP01 before printing, the display includes the cover page.
The cover page includes: Sorting Criteria and Data Statistics above the actual report.
How do I exclude the cover page?
NOTE: I had tried setting the properties prior the printing to DO NOT PRINT at SAP Cover Page drop down list, and OS Cover Page .
But it seems to have no effect.
Any other setting at printer device level?
Kindly advice the steps.

Goto--->Start--->Printers & Faxes--->Right click on printer--->Properties--->Advance TAB
Page Separator--->Just remove the page separator

OS X is blocking various printers, including my Lexmark E232. Is this going to be fixed soon?

My Lexmark E232 has worked in every OS X since Leopard. It does not work with Yosemite 10.10. Will the next version of Yosemite fix this? Any idea when? Otherwise Yosemite is brilliant!

I wouldn't wait for an update from Apple for drivers for your printer. It's the responsibility of the printer manufacture to update their drivers (software) for OS X compatiblilty.

The latest driver available for your printer at this time is for Mavericks v10.9. Read here.

Print Quote the report is in PDF but need to be new RTF template

We have 11.5.10 apps, the Quote screen is an OAF screen.
When clicking Print Quote the report is in PDF, They want to include a new RTF template for printing instead of PDF.
The new RTF template is created. But what I do not know is how the quote screen will take the new template. I can use XMLP to upload the RTF template but that may not be sufficient to make it appear in the Quote screen.
I am looking at the profile ASO:Default Layout Template. Am I headed the right way?

How to issue print command from report/form server to client printer on web

1) We have a client server application which is to be deployed on the web environment. The reports generated in our application are having a destination type as File. These reports are printed after applying some print format (escape sequences) which are passed on to the printer programmatically at runtime while printing.
Now when this application is shifted on to the Application server (Forms server & Reports Server )in web environment ,the report outputs would be generated in the application server as against the client in client server environment as the report server is on the application server.
Now while printing/accessing the report the output file will not be available to the client unless it is pushed on to the client side from the server . I am able to see reports in pdf/html output but in this case layout of my reports gets changed and I dont want to change my layouts or reformat my report layouts.
How do I redirect the report output from the application server on to the client within the D2k context and then execute print commands?
Note: In this case we want to use both DMT and Laser printing. Also note that we use escape sequences to adjust reports in desired printing papers.
2) We have second set of reports which we call as document because these are printed after capturing data from 'Form' using text_io utility (please note that for these documents we are not using any Report 6i functionality)and we print it from file using printing mechanism as mentioned above. These are working well in client server application. We adopted this methodology for getting better performance (in terms of speed as database server and network traffic is not involved) of printing. But now we are converting our application for web, we are finding it difficult how to capture Form's data from browser to client's machine and then executing printing commands which are stored in our application liabrary.
If you help me out by giving some suggestions, I shall be grateful to you.

I wonder if you ever solved this problem.
I have a very similar problem with Photoshop CS5 on Mac OSX 10.6 + HP Photosmart C7180.
If I choose "Photoshop Manages Colors" the results are lousy.
If I choose "Printer Manages Colors" the results are OK. not necessarily great.
I believe I have all the correct settings after going through books and web advice (and wasted a lot of paper and ink).
As far as I can see, "ColorSync" is the internal Mac management which is the only option available with "Photoshop Manages Colors" and "Vendor Matching" appears to mean the printer vendor (ie HP) will provide the matching. Either can be selected if "Printer Manages Colors" is used. It seems the type of paper can be set in three different places. if That's all a bit academic as the results are poor regardless.
My wife suggests I buy a new printer - Epson's looking good.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Try to get a sample and understand the concern from your users. See if that is already customized to not show the supplier item number (as far as I remember I don't think there are any conditions in the standard report that qulify the printing of the supplier item number, it should print as long as it is entered in the supplier item number field in the PO lines). So see where your users are entering this in PO lines.
Yes it is vendor_product_num in PO lines table.

Printed Purchase Order Report gives no output

hello,
The standard report "Printed Purchase Order Report(Landscape)" gives a a zero size output file for a certain po . Although i have checked the tables PO_HEADERS_ALL and PO_LINES_ALL and that purchase order has all the data entered in the tables above.
what can the problem possibbly be and how can i fix it?

as an update i found that the specified purchase orders has 9 lines entered and in PO_LINES_ALL only 5 are there !!!

Direct Print a webi report, from InfoView

Hi,
I want to direct print a webi report after I open it with InfoView, but i don't know if it's possible.
Right now, when I open a webi report in InfoView I have a button saying "Print to PDF", which will open that report as a PDF document.
But I want to print directly to a printer and not to open the report in a pdf viewer.
Is there a way to have a direct print button in InfoView for webi documents ?

At this point it is not possible.
Here is SAP Notes which clearly state that SAP BOJ is aware of it and got several enhancement request and these requests are reviewed every six months. Since these requests require major changes in the software, SAP BOBJ has not given any time frame of availability of this feature.
