I have photoshop elements 9 and recently added InDesign CC to my mac os system. Since my installation of InDesign my photoshop program will not allow me to import from the reader card or even the desktop any new photos nor am i able to save any fixes to my library collects of photos and groupings. I can save fixed pics to a folder.
Launch the Organizer and press Cmd+G to bring up the downloader dialog.
After connecting your card reader see if it is recognized as a device.
Check your pref settings have not changed, from the top menu:
PSE9 Organizer >> Preferences >> Camera or Card Reader
