LG Chocolate Touch photo saving problems
Moved for greater exposure
SenecaU, I can address both of your equipment concerns. You will not need to add a data plan for the Samsung Intensity or LG Chocolate Touch devices. In fact, you have the option of blocking the data or using it as needed for $1.99 per data MB. So, feel free to activate that LG Chocolate device with no data plan.
The issues that you have described on the Samsung Intensity can be resolved by a master reset remove any potential software issues on that phone. Click http://vz.to/XxJ2HF to retrieve steps on how to hard reset your phone.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need additional assistance. ^LH

Photo saving problems after updating to iOS 6.1.2
I just updated to the iOS 6.1.2, and now I can't save pictures from the web to my photo albums, anyone herd of this or have any suggestions?
What happens when you try?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
Will a RESET fix my iPod Touch photo download problem?
I can't seem to sync / download all the photos with OS 3.1.3 (and I could do that with 2.x) - and I still have 4.9 gb of free space-- so wondering what is going-on --- if I do a RESET then will everything be gone -- but will it then reload?
Will I get the photos to all load now? Or at least fill up 99% of my iPod not just 66% as now...
Any comments really appreciated.
SteveNo reply but I got replies from other posts trying to solve this- so will mark this answered and over here.

I'm running iTunes 10.5 on my Macbook Pro and software 4.1 on my 2g iPod touch and having problems getting photo's to sync. Same error, "iPod can't be synced req'd file can't be found". Tried deleting the photo cache, restoring the iPod etc but to no avail.
Try here:
iTunes: Unable to sync photos
Usually deleting the iPod Photo Cache Folder works. Note that if you sync via the folder method, make sure you dlete all the ifolders since :
The iPod Photo Cache stores the photos that are optimized for display on your iPod, iPad, or iPhone. The location of this folder depends on the syncing options you select. In iTunes, if you change the selection in the “Sync Photos From” pop-up menu, a new iPod Photo Cache folder will be created (and the previous folder will remain). -
Photo sync problem with Windows Vista?
I did some searching and was wondering if there is a solution to the photo sync problem with Windows Vista. I have gone the route of changing some of my photos to bitmap files but this is was way too much work just to view on ipod. I like to email Apple but could not find a link to do so. As far as I know I have all updates but still the iPod does not sync photos. Is there an update to this that I am missing or am I stuck changing all my photos to .bmp files?
Thanks,
Dean.I checked out the article and not much help, thanks anyway.
Would it make a difference if I purchased Adobe Photo Album or would I still be stuck with changing and saving files to .bmp extensions? I have Adobe Photoshop album starter but still have to change file extensions.
If someone has a solution to this problem I would really be greatfull. I did contact Dell as this is a brand new computer and that was a wash. They did give me a number for Apple but of course I bought the iPod off of ebay and has no warranty on it so unless I pay a fee I'm not calling. It just blows my mind that Microsoft and Apple can't or won't come up with a fix. But I guess when Microsoft wants you to buy the Zune or Apple wants you to buy the overpriced Macintosh why would they waste time on having there products compatible with each other.
Thanks. -
Can't view photos saved on cd from iPhoto 06 in iPhoto 08
When I insert a cd with photos saved from iphoto 06, iphoto 08 opens but the disc wont load in the application and just keeps "spinning" in the internal drive. Have tried it with different cds with iphoto 06 pictures with same result. Any ideas? (The drive does work properly with other discs for other apps.)
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You did burn those disks with iPhoto's Share->Burn menu option, right? Are you able to view the disks on the desktop via the Finder? If not and you have access to another computer, try them there. It they can't be opened by another computer then the disks have been damaged somehow or the burning was corrupted.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -
DVD drive will play audio CDs but will not read from a DVD with photos saved on it -

Please advise - thank you.
GerryI too have this same problem. Posted about it in another thread then saw this. I hope there is a fix.

Can not open photos saved on to PC from iphone 4S
can not open photos saved on to PC from iphone 4S all photos are 3.5 GB
The problem is the photo viewer in the PC. Orientation metadata is stored with the photo and is not being interpreted correctly by the program being used to open it.

LG Chocolate Touch - touch screen not working
I've had a LG Chocolate Touch for almost a year now, but recently (in the past 2 months), the touch screen hasn't been working. I can't access any of the features, but once in a while the screen will work for 5 minutes or so. The phone hasn't come into contact with water, nor has it been dropped, so I don't know why it's not functional. What could be wrong with it? Help is greatly appreciated!
I just fixed the problem.
I followed instruction from here: http://forums.att.com/t5/LG/LG-VU-touchscreen-not-working-when-touched/td-p/1749320/page/3
A AT/T forum for LG phone. Many people had the same problem, So LG really sucks! no kidding.
I used a needle to pry one side of the clear protective cover, not the entire cover, there seems two layers. it it the top layer. I lift up half inch of the side, then press the cover back again. it WORKS! so you don't need to peel off the entire cover. -
If I delete a backup icon for an old iPhone on my iPad will it delete all the photos saved from that phone in my iCloud??
Welcome to the Apple Community.
It won't affect any photos in photo stream but any photos within the back up itself will go. -

Why does my camera roll say I am using 682 MB of storage but I only have 12 photos saved?
Why does my camera roll say I am using 682 MB of storage but I only have 12 photos saved to it?
If it's really a couple dozen pictures, I would expect it should be under 100 MB.
You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the used space is still so high. -
Is there a way to stop iPhoto storing my photo stream photos on the mac hard drive when enabled? They have not been imported to my library. Is there a way to stop iPhoto storing my photo stream photos on the mac hard drive when enabled? They have not been imported to my library. I have no photos saved on my MacBook Air yet 50gb of Hardrive space is taken up by photos. When I turn off photo stream on iCloud preferences the memory is freed up. I like to be able to access my icloud photo streams on
my macbook but it has a small Hardrive and loosing that much space is annoying and it kind of voids the point of photo streams. Is there a way I can stop
this ?Is there a way I can stop
this ?
No, Photo Stream is syncing with iCloud. The most recent 1000 photos in iCloud will be buffered on your mac, even if you do not import them to your photo library, if you enable My Photo Stream.
See this link: iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
iCloud pushes all your photos to the My Photo Stream album on your devices and computers, and manages them efficiently, so you don’t run out of storage space.
