LG Enlighten not detected by adb program
In Android app development the program adb bridges between the Win 7 computer's Eclipse IDE programming environment, by means of a USB connection between computer and android phone. I have downloaded usb drivers both from Verizon and LG, to enable communication. I have re-started several times the adb program. However, adb consistantly fails to detect the existence of the connected android phone.
I am wondering if there is firmware in this smartphone that is blocking communication between phone and computer. Suggestions?

There is nothing in test that is shared between the two except the method, and that is synchronized, which prevents t1 and t2 from executing it at the same time. But if I use the same program by implementing runnable interface instead of extending Thread class, its working fine(ie both thread are synchronized)As isocdev said, I suggest you post the version that uses Runnable as well (and please use code tags as he suggested; for what you've already posted I suggest you just edit the post).

Isight not detected...message another program is using it
I haven't been able to find a solution to my problem. After using my isight of my macbook for months suddenly it started to appear a message saying that a different program was using the isight. I already tried all the steps troubleshooting my isight without having good results. I read in some article that in system profiler (applications/ utilities) one could see if the isight was being detected by the computer. So now I have narrowed my problem. My isight is not being detected by my macbook. Some people say that is a problem related to quicktime. I really don't know. What I do know is that I miss my isight. If someone could help I would really appreciate any advice.

anyone having issue like me? my creative cloud not detected my programs like photoshop, indesign etc. just wrote install. ive installed on my pc

DVD-Audio and "can not detect sound blaster card" with Audigy2 Va
I recently purchased an "Audigy2 Value" card from an eBay user, because I recently purchased some DVD-Audio discs. I downloaded the Audigy2 drivers from the website, and the Creative MediaSource player. 5. Surround sound worked fine for me, though sometimes the driver would reset to the default 2/2. sound and I would have to re-select 5. sound, which was annoying.
Then I was completely unable to get the MediaSource player to recognise my DVD-Audio discs, and the EAX functionality of the player would never work. The EAX logo never appeared in the player. When I tried installing the MediaSource player from an install disc, I got the message "can not detect sound blaster card". Then I discovered the world of EEPROM problems.
I followed advice from some other threads, including using ScanPCI to get information on the card, which yielded the following result.

(Just a note: above you can clearly see that it does not say I have an Audigy, it thinks it is a SBLi've. Is this normal? The card IS an Audigy 2, it says so on the card.)
So, I put the card back on my own PC, thinking this has fixed my EEPROM, but I get the same as before. Subsystem ID 0002h. And of course the install software will not detect the card.
I realise that I could go back to using the web drivers, but this still leaves me with MediaSource not recognising the card and not enabling DVD-Audio or EAX, which is why I bought the card in the first place!
I have heard that the VIA chipset is possibly to blame for the EEPROM problems on the Audigy cards, and certainly it seems like it is not permanent, since it gave different information on the other PC. So now I am seriously considering getting a new motherboard.
Do other motherboards cause this same problem? I don't want to buy another board and get the same trouble. All I want is to be able to install my MediaSource and have it recognise my card so I can listen to my DVD-Audio discs.

Russ.Figured out my problem. Installing the drivers from the web to begin with was a bad idea. They just did not work properly with the card.
The "card not found" problem has gone as well, after installing it in another PC. I am also using the proper install disc now, as the other one I was using turned out to not be for the Audigy 2 value after all, but was an Audigy 2 install disc. That easily explains the "Card not found" error. The differing results from the ScanPCI program are still bizarre, though.
Thanks to all of the people on the forum who posted information in other threads to help me deal with this issue. For now I am sticking with the original drivers from the disc and I am not upgrading. -
Photoshop CC 2014.2.1 not detecting my dedicated GPU
When I open Photoshop, I get the following error message:
"3D features require a minimum of 512MB of vRAM. Photoshop has detected less than that on your system.
Updating the driver of your graphics card may resolve the issue."
I am running a laptop PC with an integrated graphics card (Intel HD4600) and a dedicated Nvidia GTX 675M with 2 GB of vRAM.
I switch between the two adapters with the press of a single button, for power-saving purposes.
I always run at high-performance with the dedicated GPU active when running Photoshop.
I run the latest driver from Nvidia, and in the Nvidia control panel I manually set the preferences for Photoshop to utilize the dedicated GPU. But it still does not detect my main graphics adapter.
I checked the system information in Photoshop and cannot make sense of it. Why would it be unable to detect the GPU when every GPU demanding software I have run so far (a lot) have been able to..
I have checked google and the very forums and found the problem in various forms with no real solution for it so far. Hopefully someone on these forums can help, considering I am paying a monthly fee for the program and the support that comes with it

But as mentioned in my initial post, I deactivate the integrated graphics adapter when using Photoshop, or any software that demands decent graphical processing power.
I only have it activated when in power-saving mode. And of course I update to the newest display drivers via the GeForce Experience or through their website.
Point is, I have never had any problems with any software whatsoever in detecting the proper GPU and utilizing it's power. The only software unable to register my dedicated video card is Photoshop. -

I understand the computer is not detecting the webcam. I will do my best to assist you, but first I require the following information:
1. The computer's model number. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website: Guide to finding your notebook product number
2. The computer's operating system. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website to determine your Windows operating system.
3. Does this occur on certain programs, or all programs?
4. Have you installed any new software or drivers on this computer, before the issue appeared?
5. Have you tried another webcam to see if one does work?
Additionally, if the issue just began occurring, I would perform a system restore. I want you to bring the computer back to the earliest restore point possible, in an attempt to dodge whatever caused the issue. Here is a document on how to perform a System Restore: System Restore

Web-cam is not detected yet installed

I m doing a program tat can capture movie from available video capturing devices, i hav installed web-cam, but while searching for the devices available(Detecting the device) , it is not identifing the device. And still if i m giving direct the device info to the program("vfj//0")then movie is captured from web-cam.

Mouse clicks not detected on JTabbedPane

I have a JPanel placed inside a JTabbedPane. I want to double-click on the JPanel and bring up a JDialog. This works fine if the JPanel is not in a JTabbedPane, but if it is on a JTabbedPane, then the mouse clicks are not detected. I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give me.Here is a sample program that seems to work:

Zen vision M not detected by softw
I have had my zen vision for a while and it worked fine but when i went to install windows media player the update for wmp failed and then the player was no longer detected so i tried uninstalling and reinstalling windows media player 0 and i also reinstalled all the creative software but still it isn't detected.
I have the latest firmware and I have tried changing permissions for the usb in the registry. The weird thing is that the zen vison M appears in the device manager under windows portable devices and it doesn't have an exclamation mark beside it or anything so it is working fine. However no program is able to detect it zen vision m media explorer, winamp, real player, media monkey,windows media player all give the same messsage that no device is detected. Whenever I plug it into the computer the option box comes up asking me what i want to do sync using media monkey/windows media player/ creative media source etc but when i select an option it opens the program and it says the player is not detected, which is extremely weird given that windows seemed to detect it a few seconds before and bring up the appropriate options. The charging icon appears on the screen and it charges but the docked screen never comes up. I think it is probably the software. I am running out of things to try and any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have been to the downloads page for it but i cant install the new creative media source as i get a message saying no player detected but i have installed all the newest software other than this.
I think my software is seriously screwed up although then again it might be the player Im not sure.Message Edited by aaahhhh on 0-08-200704:00 PMBeen Fiddling with it all day and now I finally managed to get windows media player installed i go into device manager and there is an exclamation mark beside the player but when i go to update driver i get the message class installer has denied the request to install or upgrade this device. we have 3 server sharepoint 2010 farm as a live system and a 1 server for development and test system. I've got a problem with one of our portals that gives correlation ID (in 2 or 3 times a week) on all my dataview web parts (total 8 Dataview
WP) until i make IIS reset for that portal. (but same portal works like magic on test system over 3 weeks now). there is no custom code in the page other than the customized masterpage and css. and just reseting the IIS solves the problem for a couple
of days but i need to fix that permanantly. if anyone can help me about that i will be happy. thank you all in advance.

Hi,
I updated my iTunes to version 11.1.4.62, but it does not detect my iPhone 4s any more. I have tried the following ways but still did not work:
Rebooted the computer
Rebooted the iPhone
plugged and unplugged the USB cable multiple times and to various USB ports
Uninstalled and installed the i-Tunes
Signed out the iTunes and signed in again
my USB cable and ports are all ok
my ios version on iPhone is : 7.4.4
my laptop os is windows 8.1 and my processor is: Intel Core i7-3610QM @ 2.30 GHz

Go to Windows 8.1 Control Panel.
Go to Hardware and Sound; Devices and Printers; Device Manager; Portable Devices (look for Apple IPad)
Right-click, then select properties on the menu list.
Under the "Driver" tab menu, confirm the update driver button is not greyed out. If the update driver button is grey and unselectable, you need to select and click "Change Settings" button located near the lower left corner.
Now you can click the "Driver" tab menu near the top, so you can see the "Update Driver" button.
Select "Update Driver".
Select and click "Browse my computer for driver software".
For Windows 8.1 64 bit, it should be located in the folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Click Next, and let the driver re-install.
iTunes 11.1.4.62 should open automatically if your iphone is connected already. -
My laptop does not detect my ipod mini (2nd gen 1 gb), when i connect it the orange light flashe 2 or 3 times then nothing happens. if ever that it will be detected by my laptop and when i sync music on it there will be an error and itunes will suggest to restore it to its factory setting and if i choose to restore it error 3194 happens. so my top priority of course is for it to be detected then fix the latter. please help any will be much appreciated
This is an Answer for a Possible Solution. It worked for me and is still working. The issue I was having with my 64 bit vista, was Apple Mobile Device Service was not being installed, I dont know why. But I disabled any active running program through MSCONFIG, to allow a clean uninterrupted install of ITUNES 8.02. This allowed AMDS and drives from ITUNES to install. Hope this works for most of you.
APPLE, please review your Support Methods. Re-installing doesnt help an issue that resulted from installing. -
