  • 503 Service Unavailable when accessing port 80

    No matter what I try to connect to using port 80, the only response I get is a 503 error. I can connect to port 9090 without problems.
    I am running ifs v108 on Solaris, connecting using IE401 sp1a.
    My startup sequence on a newly booted server is:
    login as unix account oracle.
    cd /u01/app/oracle/product/816/ifs/bin
    su
    ./ifsstart
    input system/manager/ServerManager/ifssys in the appropriate fields.
    No error messages thrown at all.
    Open browser window on my client pc, type in http://delfi or http://delfi:80 or http://delfi/webui/jsps and I get the "503 Service Unavailable" message returned after a while.
    Connecting using http://delfi:9090 works fine, giving me the java applet for admin signon.
    The $ORACLE_HOME/ifs/log/JWS.log file, with timestamp at the time of startup, contains the following line, and nothing else:
    javawebserver: Warning: could not perform IFS server warmup.
    Can anyone assist me in getting the show on the road? At this stage I just want it installed/running, to evaluate future production....

    I seem to run into to the same problem and I had to re-install the product and re-create the repository to make it work. Any answers ? I too can get to port 9090 and it says that port 80 is alive. We have Solaris 8/8.1.6/1.0.8.3

  • Streaming video error 503 service unavailable

    Strange problem — my Logitech webcam works with some websites on my Mac Pro, not on others; yet those same websites work on my old G3.
    I get an Error Code 503 service unavailable message.
    Any ideas? Thanks.

    I should add that this is a fairly recent problem as it worked when I first got the Mac Pro. But I can't figure out if the problem a particular download.

  • Error: The listener returned the following Message: 503 Service Unavailable

    I have navigation menu that I created using pl/sql and I am generated an href link from the store procedure the first time I click on the link I get the following error:
    Error: The listener returned the following Message: 503 Service Unavailable
    and then I click the back button on the browser and click it again the the page I want is return what may be causing it...

    I would check to see how many sessions you have running and what your session limit is. If the open sessions is near your session limit it maybe shutting portal down. Does this happen all the time or just randomly? If it's randomly, this may be your problem.

  • Team Foundation Server 2013 update 4 New Install - Error 503 Service Unavailable for Sharepoint Central Admin

    Hello,
    I ran a new install of Team Foundation Server and let it install the built in SharePoint pieces on a single server setup. After the install i'm able to access the
    http://teamfoundation:8080/tfs/ address without issue but am unable to create a project. When I attempt to create a project I get the following error:
    TF30172: You do not have permission to create a new team project (when checking security i'm a member of the project collection administrators and Team Foundation Administrators)
    This led me to look at the sharepoint central administration site where I receive the following error:
    Error 503 Service Unavailable
    I've gone through and validated the identity is set correctly in IIS for the following services:
    SharePoint Central Admin v4
    SharePoint15AppPool
    The SharePoint Web Services Root is set as LocalService instead of the domain user.
    The identity domain user is setup as local administrator on the Team Foundation Server. They are all set to use .net v4.0.30319 with integrated Pipeline mode.
    Any help would be great!
    Thanks!
    Eric

    Hi Eric,
    Thanks for your post.
    Please share your detailed team project creation log here.
    In your TFS Admin Console>>Extensions for SharePoint Products tab, ensure SharePoint Web Application shows correctly in the right panel. And go to TFS Admin Console>>Application Tier>>SharePoint Web Applications tab, ensure your SharePoint
    web application displays in the right panel, then select your SharePoint web application and click Repair Connection, ensure can repair successfully.
    In your IIS Manager, select your SharePoint Central Administration V4 site and click Browser:17012(http) in the right panel, check if your SharePoint Central site can be opened successfully or not. If your SharePoint Central site cannot be accessed, I think
    this issue relate to your SharePoint site, you should contact SharePoint experts to resolve this issue first. After you resolved this issue and your SharePoint Central Admin site can be accessed correctly, then try to create your team project(within SharePoint
    site) again, if there still has issue when creating team project, please share the detailed error message here, we will try to resolve it.

  • SMS_WSUS_CONFIGURATION_MANAGER - MessageID 6600 - The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable

    Hi all,
    knowning that there are already a lot of posts concerning above message, I have to write an additional one as I could not find a solution on the web yet.
    Situation:
    Windows Server 2008 forest including empty root and two child domains, one child domain does have SCCM SP1 (central primary site WND) installed on W2k8 x64 machine including WSUS 3.0 SP1 => everything is working fine.
    Second child domain also contains a SCCM SP1 server  (primary site HUN) running on W2k8 x64 and is defined as child site of central site WND => everything is working fine too - except Software Updates.
    WSUS 3.0 SP1 installed on both SCCM servers by creating additional web site (not using "defautl web site") and configured ports 8530 and 8531 (SSL not used!). No proxy necessary/used. All WSUS 3.0 requirements for W2k8 are installed (IIS roles)
    Error:
    SMS_WSUS_CONFIGURATION_MANAGER - MessageID 6600:
    SMS WSUS Configuration Manager failed to configure upstream server settings on WSUS Server "xxxx0003".
    Possible cause: WSUS Server version 3.0 SP1 and above is not installed or cannot be contacted.
    Solution: Verify that the WSUS Server version 3.0 SP1 or greater is installed. Verify that the IIS ports configured in SMS are same as those configured on the WSUS IIS website.
    wsusutil checkhealth =>OK
    downloading updates from WSUS at central site (SUSDB and WSUS folder equal in size) =>OK
    wsus admin console able to connect and configuration possible => OK
    IIS ports configured within SMS are equal to those configured for WSUS website
    SCCM config (using Configuration Manager Console) does look correct - ConfigMgr Software Update Point role properties and Software Update Point Component properties
    wcm.log does report an error: (SCCM Log files at the end.)
    "The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable"
    IIS log files of both websites (default web site and WSUS Administration website) do not show any errors.
    Questions:
    What else should I look at? (registyr, SUSDB content,..)
    What exactly does happen during the attempt to configure the upstream server by the SMS_WSUS_Configuration_Manager component? I guess a SMS process tries to contact a webservice - would it be possible to debug in more detail ?
    And finally - Who does know the solution ?

    I just experienced the exact same scenario.  After much digging I found that csakg6so posted a fix at
    Windoows-Noob
    Run Internet Explorer as the SYSTEM account (psexec -s -d -i cmd.exe & C:\Program Files\Internet Explorrer\iexplore.exe)
    Go to internet options
    Go to conections
    Go to LAN settings
    Uncheck all boxes
    The original post said to reboot, but that wasn't necessary for me.
    After initiating a manual Software Update sync the WCM.log and WSyncMgr.log errors do not return and new updates are synchronized.

  • Apex_util.get_print_document results in "503-service unavailable"

    I'm using APEX 4.2.0.3.00.08 with GlassFish 3.1.2.2 on an Oracle 10.2.0.5 database.
    Recently I created a report-query together with a xsl-fo report-layout created in Altova Stylevision. I've enabled and configured print-options and when I press my application button, I'm perfectly capable of viewing and/or saving the pdf-version of my report.
    Additionally I want to save my report as BLOB in the database, but when I try this using apex_util.get_print_document, all I get in my table is a html-page containing the message "503-service unavailable".
    I used the following page as reference:
    Creating High Fidelity PDF Reports with Oracle Application Express but apparently I'm missing something or doing something wrong......I truly hope there's someone out here to help me!!
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Mike,
    I've been trying to create an application on apex.oracle.com to reproduce the problem, but I can't seem to get it to work.
    I've uploaded a very simple layout created in StylusStudio, a simple query on the EMP-table only containgin FIRST_NAME, LAST_NAME and EMAIL and when I add the layout to the query and press "Test report", it works fine.
    When I run the report from my application, it only shows a pdf with a thick, horizontal lines, like it's showing only empty cell borders.
    Meanwhile I found out that the APEX-listener keeps reporting similair errors, even when I use that same simple stylesheet (created with StylusStudio) on the EMP-table, even when the stylesheet does not contain any special characters at all. In stead of the message starting with INFO: Character decoding failed. Parameter [#x200B;</xsl:text> , it then ignores the complete xslt-stylesheet (the complete contents of the stylesheet is between the brackets, in stead of just the string containg the special chars).
    To be honest I'm a little lost now. First my focus was on how to get rid of the special characters, but now it looks like, even when I might succeed in that, it doesn't even solve my problem.
    Any idea why my application doesn't show me the same report I see when testing the report-query?
    The application can be found here:
    https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/htmldb/f?p=29586
    The bottom region is an attempt to show the pdf with the highest id, but I think it does not show the actual pdf (http-404)
    The source for that PL/SQL region is:
    declare
      src_  varchar2(256);
      mime_ varchar(48);
      id_   number;
    begin
    select max(id)
    into id_
    from report_archive;
        select mimetype
          into mime_
          from report_archive
         where id = id_;
        src_ := 'src="#OWNER#.download_doc?i_doc_id=' || id_ || '" ';
        htp.p('<div style="">');
        if instr(mime_,'pdf') > 0 then
          htp.p('<embed height="800" width="1200" name="statement" ');
        elsif instr(mime_,'excel') > 0 then
          htp.p('<embed height="800" width="1200" name="statement" ');
        else
          htp.p('<embed height="800" name="statement" ');
        end if;
        htp.p(src_);
        htp.p('type="' || mime_ || '" />');
        htp.p('</div>');
    exception
       when no_data_found then
          null;
    end;
    I really hope we can solve this!!!!
    Best regards,
    Marco

  • JWS error: 503 Service Unavailable

    Ifs is running, i can map it in Windows Explorer or acces it via ftp.
    But when trying to connect via WEB, i get the message: 503 Service Unavailable.
    I checked The Java Web Server administration on port 1717 and it reports that JWS is running.
    We have on the same machine Apache Web server which runs on port 80, so we use port 81 for JWS.
    Any idea?

    We've worked it out.

  • Sip 503 service unavailable and sip 500 internal server error

    Hi guys,could any one help me in the following.
    ITSP-->Voice gateway configured as CUBE-->CUCM-->UCCX
    I am moving a system from cme and aa enviroment to cucm and uccx
    The VGW is configured as CUBE and also is added as h323 gateway on cucm.
    When i tested the debug ccsip messages shows
    Sip 503 service unavailable or
    sip 500 internal server error.
    I can't now provide any debugs cause i am not on site,only on Saturday.
    As i read in previous discussion that could be the bind source address problem but i had this configured.
    Also i tried to configure the gateway instead of h232 to use sip trunk from cucm,but after this the incoming calls didn't even reach the router,the debug ccsip messages showed nothing.
    For now can any one advice me to what these 2 errors related to.
    What could be missing?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there : can some one explain the reason that i am getting this sip error with itsp:

  • BC 2 XI - Error 503: Service Unavailable

    Folks,
    we tried to connect BC and XI via the BC Adapter of XI.
    ( Scenario:  1.Step: R/3 4.7 => BC  2.Step: idoc => xml via flowservice 3.Step: BC to XI) and we got the following error message in the routing audit log of BC:
    com.wm.net.NetException: [B2BCORE.0064.9324] Server Error: HTTP error 503 Service Unavailable
    I followed the instructions of SAP-Note 803145. I tested http://<hostname>:<port>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI  and changed the poll value to 100 but without effect.
    Please suggest.
    thx in advance,
    martin
    ps.
    The XI Wizard generated a sender-agreement (adaptertype bc) which isn't shown in sxi_cache. Only sender-agreements with adaptertype xi are shown in sxi_cache. Is this "working as designed" ?

    Hi Colin,
    Quick look into these-
    1) Are you able to test the WebService, because the error tells about unavailable...
    For more-
    /people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/09/03/invoke-webservices-using-sapxi
       /people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/03/01/testing-xi-exposed-web-services
    2) Is your SOAP Receiver COnfiguration is correct
       ~ http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/29/5bd93f130f9215e10000000a155106/content.htm
    3) Check the  wsdl is correct and try look into the input message for the Webservice(SOAP Adapter)
    Have a look into this thread-
    503 service unavailable
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Moorthy

  • Status code 503--Service Unavailable

    Hi everyone.
    A little time ago I 've faced status code 503 -- service unavailable on XI 3.0, so I found Sap Note 803145 and applied it.
    The note says to change the PollAttempts parameter from 60 to 100 and that's supposed to solve the problem.
    Actually it seems that problem is solved, but occasionally it keeps apearing the same error (status code 503  -- service unavailable).
    I've checked all PollAttempts parameters and they are in 100 like the note says.
    Before the Note application the error was appearing in some messages that use SOAP and JDBC Adapters, but now this error is only appearing in JDBC adapter.
    Not all messages that use JDBC adapter are erroneous, the tricky thing here is that some messages that appear with this error can be restarted and processed succesfully but others can not be restarted.
    Can someone give me some light in this??
    Thanks in advanced.
    Emmanuel Rebolledo

    Hi Emmanuel,
    The "pollIntervall" and "pollAttempts" properties define how often and in what
    interval the messaging system tries to access the Listener Beans
    during startup (using JNDI Lookup). In the default system, this is a maximum
    of 10 attempts every 60 seconds. This is necessary because the Messaging
    System (MS) is implemented as a J2EE service, whereas EJBs are part of a
    J2EE application. During server startup, applications are always in a second
    phase after the services; therefore they are unavailable during the MS
    initialization. If your system starts very slowly (if it takes more than 10
    minutes), you may therefore need to increase "pollIntervall" and
    "pollAttempts".
    Default: pollInterval=60000 [ms], pollAttempts=10
    Regards
    joel

    Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?

    For some unknown reason, my WikiServer has stopped working. Restart doesn't work. The server log is quite revealing, however:

    The same log entry is made repeatedly, every 10 seconds or so.
    So for some reason I've now suddenly got a dependency issue with Ruby. I have no idea how this occurred because I haven't installed anything other than official updates.
    I've tried wayne58's suggestion to no avail.
    I urgently need my Wiki back!!!

  • JDBC receiver returning 503 service unavailable

    I think the JDBC receiver adapter is sendng this error back, but I am not sure why.
    Is this possible? Can somebody tell me what the potential causes are if it is?
    BR,
    Tony.

    Hi Anthony,
    Error messages that starts with the number 5 means that error related to the server related issue.
    You got 503 service unavailable means that is database server problem. may the server is down or not available like this. so check the Database status.

    Ramesh.

  • SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ('HTTPCode 503 : Service Unavail

    Hello ,
    while importing the message mapping (in which RFC look up is used) from development to quality server,  we are getting RC = 12 .
    The error log shows the following error:
    SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ('HTTPCode 503 : Service Unavailable')
    The server is Up and the credentials are also correct.
    Can anyone suggest what can be the solution for this?
    Do we need to include any specific objects in the Transport?
    Thank you,
    Siva
