LG Revolution - Messaging issues, 4G failure, Freeze Up, Slow data, etc, etc, etc.

The LG Revolution is the worst phone I've ever had. If someone texts me that uses a service provider other than Verizon I only get 160 character limit, doesn't follow up with a second text message, just cuts off. This is so annoying to have to ask someone to resend the last part of their text message. I've called in for technical support and have not had the issue fixed. I am using the factory messaging that the phone came with and this has been happening since I purchased the phone.
The 4G fails all the time, I lose network all-together, all the time. Even when the 4G is working it's slower than slow. It's very frustrating. I live in a 4G area, none of my other friends have this issue (and none of them were a sucker and bought a revolution).
The Revolution constantly freezes up, I have to pull the battery at least once a day but usually more than that.
I want these issues to be fixed. It sounds like I'm not the only one having these issues  with the LG Revolution.

Sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing with your device. Let's get those issues resolved. If your device is not able to receive text messages, is freezing and the internet is not working we can put the phone in Safe Mode. This will help us determine if and application on the device is causing the phone to malfunction. Here are the steps to complete this step http://bit.ly/vwIViQ.
If you notice that the phone is working properly while on Safe Mode, then we would need to complete a Hard Reset since an application on the device is the one causing the phone to malfunction.     Welcome to the HP Forums.
    I see that you are having an issue with the error  "print head failure".
    I realize that you have already stated that you did some cleaning advised from a document that you used from the HP web site.
    I do however have a few other steps that I suggest we try in the attempt to troubleshoot this issue.
    First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.

  • Message Object assembly failure - IBatis Framework

    I am calling a procedure using IBatis Framework , which returns a cursor.
    While mapping the data from cursor to POJO class, I am getting the following exception :

    While importing select the type as wsdl and then import it.
    Otehrwise try to import as xsd.

  • USB power failure-Freezes

    I have a new Mac Pro bought in March of this year. Since then I"ve had several instances where my keyboard and mouse just stop working. Caps Lock won't light up. Mouse won't move. I'm using a wireless apple mouse with fresh batteries and when the keyboard loses power, it loses power. No typing can be done. I've unplugged the keyboard, waiting a few seconds and plugged it back in and still no power. The only movement I can make is shutting down an external USB drive and the error message will appear. I have to do a hard shut down and reboot and then the keyboard and mouse will work. On two occassions rebooting did not work. It took a second reboot. I have one USB SDHC card reader in the top front port. One iPod connected to the second front port and in the back I have the keyboard, one external wall powered USB enclosure and one Lexmark printer. All three back USB ports are used. My 2.8 gig Nahalem mac is running 7gigs of RAM as well. Not sure why the USB ports are just powering off but I'd love to acquire solutions to how to prevent it. When rendering or exporting it is a killer to have a computer freeze in the middle of that when deadlines are looming. Thanks

    I think a few have.
    Try the standard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing is lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

  • Video Message Issue

    Hello, guys! I have a bit of an issue with the new video message feature of Skype. That is, the option to send a video message is grayed out on every contact I have on Skype, but my friends can send me video messages and I can view them without any problems.
    Skype version: 6.21.59.104 (searching for updates yields me that I have the latest version of Skype)
    Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (100% legal)
    Camera: Turbo-X 1080P Full HD with built-in microphone (functions perfectly during video calls)
    Internet Speed: Average of 100Mbps if I remember correctly. Fairly fast and functional 100% of the time (I don't know if it is relevant)
    Note: I have no Facebook or Live contacts on my contact list. I do not log in as Invisible. Some of my friends do, but the option is grayed out for everyone, not just those that are Invisible. The only personal modification I have done for Skype is to block the advertisments by blocking access to apps.skype.com through my Control Panel.

    Please,  run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit option).
    Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
    Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

    This is a followup to my own posting above.
    Thanks to Dave Sawyer for posting information about re-downloading an app which has been deleted.  I deleted the app from iTunes.  Then, when I synched, iTunes asked me if I wanted the items on my ipod touch copied back into iTunes.  I said yes and then synched.
    Readdledocs is now working again.  It is no longer frozen.  However, I have learned my lesson.  I will download only pdf's from now on.  I don't think it works so well with epub files.  The text reflow feature of Readdledocs is exactly what I need to use for my work documents on my ipod touch.

    POs are to be issued via fax, no problem. But if PO value exceeds e.g. 100.000u20AC, the PO should also be issued via e-mail or printout to another (internal) party, just as a notice that this high-value PO has been sent out.
    Is there any possibility to implement this w/o big efforts?

    It doesn't tell me what resource is missing, & why could I read this 12 hours ago fine.

    I've got a solution, it's not so perfect, but i bet someone would come out with a better one based on mine.
    Solution:
    Step 1: close iBooks app and delete all existing book data
    Since I have recently lost all files in my ibooks library due to something wrong with Time Machine backup, I could delete all my book data without anything to worry about.
    I deleted all files in:
    /Users/[usename]/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBoo ks
    and the iBook configuration files (well, the whole folder):
    /Users/zlw/Library/Containers/com.apple.iBooksX
    It doesn't matter if you have deleted the whole iBooksX folder, what you would lose at most is the bookmark data, etc.
    deleting all the files inside the iBooks folder of BKAgentService will enable you to redownload the file that you want correctly.
    Step 2:
    reopen iBooks and you will be able to download the book that you want.
    Possible improvement:
    there is a Books.plist file in the iBooks folder of BKAgentService, it might be possible to modify the plist and and the folders so that it's not necessary to delete them all.

  • TS2755 when is the text message issue going to be fixed?

    I am very frustrated with my iphone. Texting is a huge part of my business and communication with children needing to contact me. The texts do not come through, only send sometimes and I am sick of this. The "fixes" dont work, I have only had this phone 6 months and have had my carrier replace it because I thought it was a phone issue. I am very ready to throw this phone into the garbage where it belongs and go back to android. Any suggestions?

    SMS is a carrier feature, contact the carrier to troubleshoot.
    There is not messaging issue with iOS.

    Have you tried scanning the source image? Disk Utility > Images menu > Scan Image for Restore…

    Try closing the Photos app, as well as Messages by double tapping the home button, long pressing on one of these apps, then touching the minus sign above these two apps.  It will also be a good idea to restart the phone.  Then test your message again.  Hope this helps.

  • Load More Messages issues

    I saw some posts about load more messages issues, but nothing seems to be the same as my problem. I'm new to iPhone, so I must be missing something obvious.
    I was looking at my emails this morning and deleted all but 5. I responded to an email, but didn’t send because I forget change the server port for outgoing mail that our server requires. So I went into settings and changed the port. I went back to my inbox but can no longer see the messages I saved, instead there's an option that says “Load More Messages” with a note below it stating “5 messages total, 0 unread”. I have no other emails in my inbox. When I click Load More Messages, nothing happens. I can’t figure out how to get to those emails. I tried cycling the power on the iphone, that didn’t help.
    I'm getting new messages normally. My mail is set to show 25 recent messages. Even if I change this, it still displays the "Load More Messages". As an extreme test, I set it to show 200 recent messages, went back to my inbox, hit the "Load More Messages" option, but that didn't help. What's more, I have a full signal and I'm running 3G.

    Hey man, your problem sounds similar to the one I'm having. I can't load more messages on both of my email accounts. But I think I might have figured out the problem. I recently re-installed my hotmail account and when I was looking through my,"Unread" inbox the, "Load more messages" command was working just fine. So I was continuing to go through my messages to make them read (because if your like me, I don't like to have any messages, "Unread." So when all my messages were read there was about 80 in total, and my setting was set to show the 25 most recent. So I backed out of the mail app, did a few more things and came back hoping that there would only be 25 showing with 0 unread and the ability to load more if i wished. Well, there was 25 showing but the box with the load more messages command was gone and no matter how many times I tried to refresh it would not come back.
    So my theory is this; there always has to be an unread message in your inbox for the load more messages to work. Sorry about the long post. I'm going to test this theory out, knowing my luck, it won't work at all. Good luck bro!

    I have had my Samsung ATIV SE for over six months now and have had it replaced to resolve a text messaging issue but the problem still exists and no one has been able to help me. Text messages randomly disappear. I just had a two week block of messages disappear for no apparent reason. I need a resolution and not sure where to turn. I was sent to Samsung and Microsoft and no one has been able to help me!!

    It doesn't have to be any one in particular. I suggest going into the app store and doing a quick search for SMS. Pick one that seems reasonable to you. Our main interest is seeing if this has something to do with your line of service in general  or if we can narrow it down to the phone/app.
