LG Revolution Text Multiples

I am having issues with my texts being sent multiple times, and I am also receiving texts back multiple times. Is this a problem with my phone personally, with LG Revolution owners as a whole, or just Verizon Wireless users as a whole? Any thoughts, suggestions, etc?

There are many issues that could be causing the duplicate messages. I would like you try this first and let me know if the issue persists. Try to clear the cache on the messaging app and start there. Clearing the cache of the messaging app can be done under Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> All> Messaging> Clear Cache/Data/Force Stop. Please know that this will likely remove your e-mail accounts and erase all text messages. Once that is complete, power off the device and remove the battery. Place back in and use.

thro ME59 ( Program RM06BB20) an unusual error message appears as under:

Hello,
We have faced another issue of the same nature while a PO is being created using the tcode ME21N for service free text items referring a PR ( Service item has no Contract assigned but a fixed vendor)
The error relates to SE419 ( Mat grp 'XXXX' does not exist)
Any takers..
We are using a custom doc type for the PR
Any hep /clue is appreciated

If you 6 menu buttons are pointing to Tracks then select the Track and in the property inpector you can set the Menu Remote Control options. Set Menu to the button on the menu you want to jump to.
You can set this option individually for chapters in a Track also so,

How can a dynamic text field be used multiple times, on any
frame, in any new layer during a Movie?

A number of unique dynamic text fields are being used.
The intent is to use them each, many times during a Movie.
(i.e. a users first name)
They are successfully being "ExternalInterfaced" from a PDF form field.
(the SWF is displayed within the PDF as a RMA)
This all works well, IF I only use one instance of the dynamic text field.
(one use of each unique text field)
If I try and use that same dynamic text field, again, in a new layer, later in the SWF,
all of that said, duplicate dynamic text fields do not display.

I did not know creating a new keyframe,
creates a new instance.
Yes, I had used the same dynamic text field instance name in
numerous, new layers (great observation).
With the objective to display the User's name throughout
the timeline (on and off)...
I'll attempt to paraphrase your solution;
Use a single layer to display the dynamic text field.
Extend this layer's timeline throughout the movie, or end use of the dynamic text field.
Help with this one ??
Set the visible properties to true or false as need through out the timeline.
( Does require an AS3 ? )

Side of effect of using the above solution;
The SWF in it's attempted state, uses the dynamic text field instance, in
different places, different text sizes, on the stage, throughout the Movie.
(i.e. the User's first name appears in different sentences...)
Per the solution above,
I believe I will be limited to One location, one format setting.
Is this assumption correct?
I can make this work from a display / Movie point of view.
However, your first VAR concept, noted above, might be
worth exploring should more flexibility be required.

When I send a voice text the recipient receives the same voice text multiple times

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and when I send other iPhone users a voice text they received multiple copies of the same voice text in a row. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to correct it?

From the Mail menu bar, select
Mail ▹ Preferences... ▹ Accounts ▹ Mailbox Behaviors
and uncheck the box marked
Store draft messages on the server

Texting Multiple People

So I went out and bought that "iPhone--The Missing Manual" and read it last night.
On the book, don't spend the money, just go get a coffee and hang out at Barnes and Knoble and flip through it...you will find the few workarounds that make it worth the read, but other than a few things, everything else was just how to use the phone.
However, one of the workarounds that I found, that a lot of you mass texter's might want to do that you are not aware of.....
if you text through email, just put your friends phone number in front of teleflip.com.........you don't have to remember all the different ADDRESSES FOR EACH CELL PHONE COMPANY AS HAS BEEN SUGGESTED IN OTHER THREADS (whoops, caps lock)....so you can go into all your friends, add one more email address with these numbers, and email to them, they will go to your friends phones as a text and it costs you nothing and you can now text to multiple people again!
It is also a way to keep your text messages down with your current plan, cause they go out from you as emails, but arrive at your friends as text messages!
Still does not work with pictures, but at least you can text to more than one person now! =)

You can create a group if you are sending it to the same people all the time.
For example I have to tell the same people about a customer because they all need to know about this one customer.
So to create a group.

Is there a way to create a group in Contacts?
I just got the phone and love it but i'll be really disappointed if i can't communicate with multiple people without having to create a new text for each one. even my old cheap phone could do that...

No you cannot. I as does many others find it ludicris that Apple ommitted these basic phone features for eample, the ability to send and recieve Multi Media Messages, texting to multiple recipients, creating groups in contacts, simple editing features in email and text, copy and paste, etc. etc. etc. etc......... Thus the reason why I am going back to my Palm Treo 750, a much better and less expensive phone.

One text multiple people

I have an iphone5. I need to send the same text to 100 people. I have tried with iMessage on and off and with mms on and off but each time I send the text several people do not receive it. Why would this be? And I don't receive the replies from some who have received it. I am not using group messaging. It is driving me crazy. Yesterday I sent a text to 3 people. Only 1 received it.

It can not be done on the iPhone SMS app.
You can, however, send an email to multiple SMS via the Mail app. You will just need the phone number and wireless carrier of your recipients.

IPhone 4: Since updated it sends randoms texts multiple (repeat) times to contacts

Hi All; my issue is since i updated the phone to the newer software (its currently up to date as of now) my phone will randomly pick texts in a conversation and send them multiple times to the same person. For example, yesterday in the afternoon I text John about a football game. At 11pm when we were not texting each other 3 or so of the text messages popped up on his phone again as NEW incoming texts. I thought it might have been his phone but this has happened to 9 other people that I regularly text. This has been ongoing for a week or so and it decides random text and random times to send them. Has anyone else had this problem? For me it started when after I updated to the new OS. Can someone suggest the best method to solve this because my customers are getting irritated and dont know which message are the new ones. Thanks!

Recovering ability to text multiple recipients

Today I discovered that I was suddenly unable to text the other three members of my family. Whenever I tried to type all three names into the To: field, the Messages app would exit as soon as I entered the third family member's name. I tried all permutations of the ordering, nothing worked. I ALSO found that I COULD send texts to four people, including my three family members. Very weird (the behavior, not my family members ). After lots of trial and error, I deleted the conversation thread consisting of these three family members and ... voila!! ... I can text my three family members again.
Anyone have any insight on what my have been going wrong? Just curious.

I'm also looking for a standard customizing alternative to do the same thing.
Still, if you're interested, I've already done it successfully with user exit PLAT0001.

Conditional text - multiple tags on the same text

I have three conditional tags in my project: e.g. A, B & C.. Some text has two tags. I defined the A layout as all excluding B &C. However, that also excludes the text that have both A & B tags. How do I show the A text that is also tagged B?

Keep in mind that if you go that route, you need to ensure ALL content is tagged. Anything untagged is always included.

Conditional Text - multiple versions of manual

I'm using FrameMaker 7.2.
I want to have 2 versions of a manual. Version 1 is the standard version. Version 2 is customized for a particular customer. I understand how to set up and apply the conditional tags and how to turn them on and off.
There is a slight variation of the screens between software versions, so I will have separate screen caps where they differ.
Version 1 will have 2 more chapters than Version 2. Title and release date will be different so there will be different title pages.
Is the best approach to set up 2 different book files so that everything generates correctly? I'm also converting the book to html help using Webworks Publisher SE (that doesn't include any of the variable screen caps). I don't want this to be a nightmare to maintain.

You will need to have two different book files, as you can not conditionalize files in a book file.
You would then probably need to have two different intro files for the different info that you indicate. Use variables for some of these if they are required in diffent parts of the book so that you can import the info quickly prior to generating ouput.
Your output workflow with two books should always be to first import the variables across the book files, update the book and then create output.
When using different screen captures or graphics, you must make certain that the anchor holding the anchored graphic frame is conditionalized. One practice is to have a dedicated paratag for only anchoring graphics in your flows and then conditionalize that paragraph.
