LG Spectrum - Can't validate email

So I have had my LG Spectrum for a little while now and I can't use the "email" app provided by Verizon. It continues to tell me my accounts are not validated and that "authentication failed" and asks if I want to delete all accounts. It also gives me an error every night when it tries to do the back up.
Any ideas? Suggestions?
I have already tried to check my settings on my Gmail accounts. I am using the Gmail app since I can't get the "email" app to work.

I managed to get my Gmail to work through the Gmail app. With the new
update however when I open the Email App (the verizon one) which has my
work email connected to it, the screen simply comes up white and says it
was updated 11/15/12 at 10:56 but it does not show the actual messages. I
have to go to the email preview that is on the main screen of my phone to
read them, if I open the actual email app it shows a white screen saying
when it was updated and that I have 2 emails. My phone is still giving me
the Backup Error every night though and no one can tell me what is going on
with that either.

How to validate Email Address in HTML DB Application

I have delevoped one Employee Login Details form in HTML DB. But i am unable to validate that email address as i find html db is not supporting String functions like indexOf(char c), substring(int) ect. So please can anybody help me to know how to validate email address that it has @ and . symbol or not.

You may be able to use Regular Expressions instead, if you do a search in this forum for 'regex' you should find a few hits.
While I agree that using a regular expression is a great way to verify that the user has entered an email address that conforms to the regular expression rules, it is still nothing more than that....conforming to the regular express rules.
The only way to 100% confirm that an email address is 'valid', is to actually send an email to it, so what I tend to do is to get the user to enter their email twice (in a user registration screen for example), that way you can minimize the chance of 'typos', then send out a 'verification email' that the user has to click a link on to verify they have received it (I'm sure you've seen this type of system before), only when the confirmation is received would I then make the account 'active'.

I use generate extractor using function to CRM System. Sometimes, when BW fetch the data, BW get 0 records (it's true, since sometimes no data in the CRM System).
My Question :
Is there any way/method to validate if there is no data in CRM, so the fetching records is cancelled ?
Could it be done in the function gen. x (CRM System) / Info-package (BW).. ?? / Any suggestion for it please .. ?

Just an idea not sure it works (never tried) once you trigger the Data load, you can check for the job that runs in R/3 to extract data and if the job is successful you can trigger an email.
As i think in case of Generic Extractors only when you trigger data load from BW the Data is collected in R/3 unlike LO where V3 jobs collects data and it resides in Delta Queue.
Please also let me know if you find an exact solution.

examples:
1. "[email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected],"
2. "[email protected]"
3. "[email protected],"
So how can i validate the emails as described above?
using oracle 11g rel.2

You haven't described what you want.
Whenever you have a question, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all the tables involved, and the results you want from that data.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say what version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.2.0).

Do you want an expression that tells whether a string is a valid e-mail address or not? You might start by looking to see if the string is divided into 3 parts by an @ sign, and then by a dot, with at least 1 letter in each of the 3 parts. Here's one way to do that:
REGEXP_LIKE ( email_addr
, '[[:alpha:]].*@.*[[:alpha:]].*\..*[[:alpha:]]'
If the expression above returns FALSE, you can be sure that that string is not a valid email address.

Can't validate and get key features in PSE12

My problem:
My Photoshop Elements 12 purchased from Amazon seems to be lacking features such as access to layers, etc.. Here's the series of events that I initiated. One of these might have thrown off things.
a) Downloaded a free 30 day trial version of PCE12.
2) Saw a good deal at Amazon and decided to purchase.
3) Don't have a DVD player so instead of using the discs I went online and after uninstalling the 30 day trial version I downloaded and installed (what could have been the same 30 day version) At some point I was prompted and entered my new serial number.
So I have a running copy of PSE12 but w/o key features. Is that typical of the trial version? Will these features such as 'layers' capability appear only after I have validated? I can't seem to get the validation going. Appreciate any help out there. Forget the phone help; it's at least a three hour wait. And are they charging me too?

Thanks for your answer to my desperate plea... I actually discovered this 'Expert' feature by following a Youtube how-to video later that evening. So, still appreciate that you care enough to reply. I'm just learning this software application and will continue watching the many videos from the Youtube source. Do you by any chance know what 'validation' provides as an advantage?Thanks again.Dave

You need to be in Expert mode to get all the features working.

Unable to validate email

Help please. I have a Curve 8520 and have been trying to download new apps. When I enter my password I get the message 'unable to validate email address and password'. If I select 'forgot password'   I get the message 'Blackberry is having trouble connecting to ... server. Verify your network connections and try again - error 30637'. Have checked my email settings and these seem ok and I am receiving email on the Blackberry on the same email account. I am probably missing something really obvious here but can someone put me out of my misery?

Can't validate my Apple ID for iCloud

When i want to get icloud up and running i can't validate my ID so i can use icloud. It says it will send an e-mail to help me validate but it won't come any mail even i try 100 times. Any idea what i can do ?

No, we can use the same Apple ID we use for iTunes and the Mac Apple Store. It seems some of them are corrupted in a way. The solution I've found has been to go to
https://id.apple.com
and change the email address of the Apple ID we want to join iCloud with a valid email address.. A confirmation email will be sent (and it does get sent. I did it few times for other IDs as well), click on the link in it and follow the steps. After that if there is an option to use the email address as the Apple ID (unify?), use it. Then change the email address back to the original one. It works.

On my PC I simply have a master return email address and use a POP for the secondary address. Both are through the one exchange account without a problem. I need to be able to do the same on my Ipad.

Ah, I should have made that clear. My domain didn't come from google. It was purchased at and is hosted at dreamhost, but I haven't used their email servers in years - I just route everything through gmail. I actually have a bunch of domains (with websites).
Gmail has an option that lets someone with custom domains send (and receive) email through gmail using the custom domain once Google confirms proper ownership of the domain (to prevent spammers and such). Gmail has a setting for "send email as" which allows gmail to be sent using a custom domain as the sender. I'm pretty sure Apple's old mobileme had this feature too, but I didn't use it.

On the iPad, using the mail app, there is no way to do what you are asking without tapping the flag icon and marking the item as unread. Have you tried the OWA app for the iPad? It may have that functionality, but I haven't tested it as you need an Office 365 subscription with Exchange support to use the app.

Usually 'authentication required' means that you need to submit a username (or e-mail address) and password to the e-mail server, when sending a message. This logic is not different between Outlook and Thunderbird, and even with the latest and previous version of Thunderbird.
Of course you can try the previous version again to see if it solves the problem, although you'll be less secure because you would be missing the latest fixes.
