Libraries needs to be attached

Hi All,
I have 10g Developer Suite installed on my pc. I have specified the path of the forms and the libraries in the default.env file but still everytime i open up the form, it asks for me to attach the libraries. What could be the problem?

Hi,
I need to process a couple of tasks after clicking on cross button(on top right corner of HTML extension) and before the Extension actually gets closed.
As I Understand, Extension is using chromium browser.
I tried attaching an event listener to "onbeforeunload" event of chrome but it suppresses any alerts being thrown and closes the extension, without waiting for
background processes to complete.
Is there a way through scripting/Plugin or any other way to achieve it?

try the script at Adobe Community: InDesign 6 is crashing when attempting to open a particular document. All others are opening OK.
I'd also try moving the pages to a new file, though I suspect that will crash too. Divide and conquer might work -- tray one of your operations on half the document at a time, then repeat by dividing any piece that fails, and so on, until you isolate a page, then use the same method to isolate an object (though it's possible you have a corrupt page).

What client libraries need to connect to Oracle8i on Sun Server?

T61 - Help needed to re-attach the "Shift" key

I accidentally popped off the shift key when cleaning my keyboard. Unlike most other keys on the keyboard, underneath the actual "shift" key cover is a raised point made of a blue rubber-like material. I cannot figure out to re-attach the cover to the shift key and hoping someone can help me out!

You need a pair of tool tweezers and sober pair of hands or a small screwdriver like the jewelers driver included in those eyeglass repair clips on grocery store endcaps.
The blue cone you're referring to is often called a "chute" and black and white scissors is sometimes referred to as a "pantograph"
Use your tool to snap the pegs into the plastic brace on your deck and it should stand erectly over the blue chute.
The important part is installing the scissors with correct orientation because it can still snap fit but upside down and prevent proper key attachment before overwhelming frustration. On the bottom of your Shift key is likely the scissors and this should be snapped off the key. The white half of the scissors should be oriented north to the LCD
Then snap the scissors into the brace, the shift keys have a metal U bracket and this should be unfurled as far as possible towards the bottom / mousepad.
The shift keys are the hardest keys to reinstall but not impossible, if you become frustrated and break it,, you can buy replacement keys from third parties and we use http://www.machinaelectronics.com/store/ (no affiliation except always satisfied) for $6 replacements shipped first class.

Phonebook directory design, need help, picts attached in zipfile

Hi. I am needed some serious help and consulting on a indesign CS4 on Mac question with a directory I am building out.
The phonebook listings goes as follows:
The previous designer's file has the Name justified to the left it seems with the address and city abbreviation following. Then the phone number always justifies to the right and in between the city abbreviation and the phone number is a varying amount of periods that perfectly make the phone number justified to the right everytime.
They fill the space perfectly and are not typed in but are somehow automated. What is this and how did they do this?
I have tried Data Merge and other things and do not see how to do this in Indesign CS4. Is this a special plugin and do you know one that will do this? Thanks

Without looking at the files, I can tell you that probably no-one can tell you how the document is created by just looking at the files.

Type some words. Insert a tab. Type a phone number.
Now call up the Tab ruler. If you see lots of tabs already defined, select "Clear all" in the Tab ruler panel menu.
Click in the ruler as far to the right as you can -- a new tab arrow should appear. While it's still selected, click the 'right-align' tab in the left side of the panel (the selected tab arrow should change). With that tab arrow still selected, enter a period in the "Leader" field and press Enter.
All of this should of course be done in a paragraph style, so it's applied automatically.

Do object libraries need to be compiled?

I've created an object library. I then drag the object from the library to 20 different forms using the subclass option, regenerate them and then try to run the application using any of these 20 forms. I then made a mod to the object library, updated it and moved it back to our solaris server. Now, my 20 forms don't recognize the change that I made in the object library. My question is do I have to "compile" the object library in order for the application to "see" the changes I made? It's my understanding that an Object library is read in at runtime, but wouldn't it need an executable version of the object library. If I do need to compile it, how do I do it?

Hi,
object libraries don't need to be compiled. It seems that you broke the inhertitance between the items and the object library. Try and go to one of the itemens and check if this items still shows to be subclassed. Redo the inheritance and see if this works.

2 libraries need to consolidate. Is there a way to combine these?

I moved all my files to a new external drive. Then I added a few more files but now I have 2 library files in 2 locations. One location has all the old files, the other location has the new files.
Is there a way to combine these two library files?
All of the music files in both libraries are in the same iTunes folder, but one library is IN the iTunes folder and the other is OUTSIDE the iTunes folder.
Now when I "choose library" I have to go to one or the other library. I need to combine these.
What can I do???

All the music is in the same folder. But for some reason I have 2 libraries that locate different tracks within the same iTunes music folder.?!

SEVERAL different iphoto libraries - need to consolidate

I have had a couple macbooks and now an imac. Have also done a lot of moving stuff around using drives/time machine etc. In short, I have a bunch of different iphoto libraries on various different drives and need to consolidate.
I am thinking of just exporting all photos in original format from each library onto one large drive and then importing onto one library then basically starting all over again getting them organized. I think I can then also more accurately weed out duplicates etc. I assume that the various different albums I have on the different libraries will not be kept and might lose meta data etc. But not sure how else to proceed.
Suggestions would be appreciated

What version of iPhoto?
With iPhoto '11 version 9.3 and Aperature 3.3 you can merge libraries in Aperature
Otherwise the only solution to merging is the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ -
Your exporting and importing merges teh photos but no versions, no metadate, etc

Function Group inculde FUNCTION_UXX needs to be attached to TR number

Whenever a new FM is created, inculde FUNCTION_UXX will be updated by the function library. We have a situation where we are not creating a new FM, but due to some issue we need to attach this include and transport it to other client.
If any one has any solution, please reply.

Help needed with Item Attachment Inconsistency

Hi all - this may be a bit unusual, but I'm hoping someone may have dealt with this or have a great idea. :)
I have a list whose items include a publishing page field for the body content. We used a migration tool for SharePoint that placed the list attachment in both the standard List Item Attachment section as well as within this publishing page body field. Attachments
are stored in the Attachment directory, not in a Document Library.
The issue is that when users click the icon for the attachment within the body it allows them to open it in edit mode and save it directly to the Attachment library, thereby bypassing the approval process we have in place. Conversely, when they click the
standard Item Attachment link it opens as read-only.
Is there any way to force the link in the Body field to open as read-only? They still need to be able to upload new attachments to the Item.

It sounds like you need to remove the attachment from the Publishing field to allow the OOTB approval to flow for the item's attachments. Have you contacted the migration tool vendor regarding this bug in their tool?

Any proprietory Oracle libraries need to build & deploy JDev's JSF app?

Hi, I'm very new to JSF.
I wish to use Oracle JDeveloper for RAD of java web application. I notice JSF probably is what i'm looking for, but I'm also concern about proprietory issue.
So, my question is by using Oracle JDeveloper (a free IDE tool as what I know) to build JSF application and deploy to nonOracle J2EE app server, does it involve any proprietory Oracle libraries or jar file that we still need to in order get the JSF application we build using JDeveloper to be working?

I'm really new to JSF so before seriously use it for development, would like to get as much advice as possible from the those familiar with it first.
To be more specific, as long as I only have adf-faces-impl.jar & jsf-impl.jar in my web-inf\lib, that means we are not using any proprietory libraries right?
So, if I use plain JSF or ADF Faces, will I be able to make use of the data binding to other Open Source database like MySql? If yes, does this data binding (mapping text fields to database fields) requires use of proprietory oracle libraries like bc4j? or for JSF there's alternative? cos I saw in JSF HTML got something call dataTable. RAD is one of my major concern, but I don't want to tie up using proprietory oracle libraries.
Actually I want to use mysql as the database and JDeveloper as the IDE, but i need a RAD environment. So, currently looking into JSF.

Does a PHP file need to be attached to the HTML file?

I know that CSS files need to attach to the html files, but what about PHP? Because when I try to test it, it asks me to make it a test server, but it never works. I know I'm missing. Please help. Thank you!
