"Library information could not be updated" message?
When starting up Labview 2012 (dev suite) and opening a project, I am getting a message that says "Library information could not be updated." in a dialog with an OK button. I click OK, and everything runs fine. I have two questions...1) how can I make this stop showing up and 2) what happened to make it do this?
The only time I have seen this problem is when I try to delete from a project a file that LV thinks has been modified, but which doesn't exist anymore on disk.

Are u trying to cancel the excise doc?
the error is in include LJ1IEXKG1 line number 2767.
the excise doc has status cancelled and so the cummulative receipts is getting less then cummulative issues. so just check the qty in excise doc. and also try to debug to find the problem.

When I installed CS6 trial version and started from start menu and clicked Adobe photoshop CS6, I get this message.
The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessor Information could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
How to resolve it?Either your OS is damaged, or doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Photoshop CS6.

After my last itunes update, I cannot play my music on my PC. I get an "original file could not be found message." Has anyone else had this problem?
If you post back the two paths I may be able to suggest an easy fix
(that would not have created duplicates).

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls, such as lost ratings and playlist membership.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed)

“Save” is not a term used with LR to create images. What are you trying to do, exactly, in terms of LR menu options?
Are there questions marks on the thumbnails for the images that say File could not be found?

I am trying to update my iPhone but it seems that I have to many photos and music because I received the following message: The iPhone could not be updated; this device is not elegible for the requested build. Does anyone know how to fix this?
You have to delete the corrupt back-up so iTunes can at least back-up the current data on the iPhone and then restore it. Search these forums, there a several good posts on how to delete the corrupt back-up.

I tried repairing iTunes through the control panel but there is a new message that "the file 'itunes library.itl' could not be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes"
Unless you deliberately downgraded iTunes this may be a sign of a corrupt library. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

Just registered iphone 4s and attempted to run the first update to 5.0.1...message "could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible." What needs to be done?

service agent for the iPhone (or other affected iDevice) to see
if they can apply the correct firmware update, to help resolve the
issue of upgrade; or if they have a way to put it as it was prior to
the attempted upgrade to a later iOS.

Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider
Visit an Apple Retail Store
Pending some release of another update to the iOS, you'd need
to have someone's hands-on effort to correct the issues your
product faces now, before another round of upgrade attempt.

In attempting to update the iPhone to the iOS6 today (from iOS5.1), I received the following error message:

iPod version shown in iTunes as "4.3.4" (not listed in the OS drop-down associated with setting up this post. Appeared to download the update OK but as soon as it went to install it came up with "The iPod "xxxxx" could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible" Why and what do I do now? I'm pretty sure it was trying to install 5.1.1
- Are you updating clicking on the update button in iTunes?
Try a reset. Nothing is lost.

I see that you are experiencing and issue when attempting to update your iPad. Here is an article for you that may help you address this error:

I would suggest that you particularly pay attention to the information in the following section, which addresses error codes such as the one you have been given:
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

"The iPod ... could not be updated because it could not be found" on Mac?
I just updated to the latest version of QuickTime and was notified that there was a new iPod update but when I try to update it I get the message:
"The iPod "My Name's iPod" could not be updated because it could not be found."
I tried to remove the iPod Software Update folder, but that didn't work.
I also tried to restore the iPod too, but I got the same error message??
I see documents for Windows on this error message about the firmware being corrup bug not for Macs.
What's going on??Well, back again... a new iTunes and QuickTime update via Software Update and it got my iTunes in the same state again after the web installation. DOH! I reinstalled both QT and iTunes again to fix the issue again. I can't be the only one that this is happening to so just reiterate the fix works but that I'm beginning not to trust the Software Update versions of the installers for QT and iTunes. There IS a difference and it's a buggy result of not being able to find the iPod afterward. Next time I get the prompt to update I'm going to refuse and then download it from the website.

Working window disappears behind other open windows at random times.
The window I'm working on keeps popping back behind other open windows at random times (not related to the program I'm using). Is anyone else experiencing this after upgrading to Mavericks?
