Library refuses to load

When I launch iPhoto, all I get is the message 'loading photos' and the black spinning wheel. I've tried to export the library to a new folder, but as the Source list is now blank, there's nothing to highlight. I've also tried starting iPhoto whilst holding the Shift + Option keys, but I get the same response.
It's all my fault, moving images around manually and inadvertantly dropping one in iPhoto, but please help, as my wife is going to kill me when she discovers all her treasured garden photos are gone.

If you got the same response, then your timing was off -- what you should have gotten was a dialog asking you to confirm your intent to rebuild the photo library.
Before trying it again, make sure that your iPhoto Library folder is in your Pictures folder. If you've done some renaming (or if you've created a new photo library), we'll need to make sure that iPhoto is trying to access the appropriate folder for the rebuild.
Post back with the current status if your problem hasn't been resolved. BTW, which version of iPhoto is currently installed?

Empty the Safari Cache from the Safari Menu Bar more often.
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.

ITunes 7.2 Refuses to Load 101 of My Songs Onto My iPod

I upgraded my iTunes to version 7.2. Unfortunately, iTunes refuses to load 101 mp3 songs that formerly played on my iPod Video 60 GB onto my iPod. These were songs that I purchased from iTunes in the last year, burned to a DVD and then ripped back into unprotected MP3 format.

Mine started doing the same thing, but only on VBR mp3's.
I got around it for now by setting it to manually manage songs and dragging the songs to the ipod - i dragged from the finder, it will probably work if you drag through itunes library also. I dragged the ones it said my ipod could not play, and tested and verified that the ipod could play those songs fine.

Shared Library Won't Load

I've been having absolutely no luck with this whole iTunes sharing thing in iTunes 9.
Firstly, my XP PC will not show up on either my Vista machine or my Mac. I've tried tweaking all the settings, nothing seems to work.
My Vista library will appear on my Mac, but when it's clicked, the library just says "Loading *'s Library" and refuses to actually load. The bar moves and such, but nothing ever comes up.
I should mention that my Mac loads up fine on both machines and plays normally.

Well, here we are in 2013, and this issue is still not fixed. I love my iPhone 4s, and I believe Apple makes the best mobile devises around, but Apple ***** so bad at interoperability, it is shameful. (I also love the fact that when I check the spelling using Apple's tool, the dictionary does not recognize 'iPhone.' LoL.)

The most likely problem is a damaged source file, but you could try this technique for populating the iPod in stages.
*Break up large transfers*
In iTunes select the menu item *File... New Smart Playlist*. Change the first drop-down box to Playlist, the next to is and the next to Music. Tick against *Limit to*, type in say 10, then change the drop-down to GB, and set the last drop-down to artist. When you click OK you can enter a name for the playlist, e.g. Transfer. Now sync this playlist to your iPod rather than your entire library. When the sync is complete modify the rule ( *File... Edit playlist* ) to increase the size by your chosen amount, then sync and repeat. You can experiment with different size increments, if it doesn't work just choose something a bit smaller until it works each time. Before long you should have all your music on your iPod. Once that's done you can move on to other media such as podcasts, videos, photos, playlists etc.

Each device has been registered onto this account and this computer, and all have worked finely in the past. I am so confused as to why now seemingly without reason, none of our apple devices (one iPod, two iPhones) are allowed to have music and other material downloaded onto them. Also, as a side note, they still are charged by plugging them into the computer, however they do not even show up on the left-hand sidebar in iTunes.
It should also be noted that for my iPhone it does not allow for the new update software to be uploaded; it just says that an error has occurred, nothing more.

Imovie 08 refuses to load after upgrading to Leopard

I got Leopard for christmas and after upgrading imovie worked fine until I upgraded to imovie 08 with ilife. Now it refuses to load after it bounces it just stops and acts like as if I didn't even do anything. I've tried disk utility, and a bunch of other stuggestions but it dfidn't work.

Yes I did all of them. All of them appear to load except for imovie. and I did the installment of ilife 08. For some reason a folder appeared for the older version of imovie and that works fine even though i installed iLife 08, it suddenly made a folder today saying imovie (old version).
I don't get why it is doing that when the others work just fine.
Yes the display options are correct
The only one I know of is the divx codec I believe that is it.

A required application library failed to load and the product cannot continue

Seems like I go through this problem time and again with Photoshop + Acrobat CS2 and still have yet to resolve a way of fixing it short of completely wiping my drive and re-installing Windows (XP Pro) The error is "application library failed to load and the product cannot continue"
If there is anyone out there that has figured out a way to fix this issue please fill me in.
This time I went as far as a complete and though removal of all Adobe products from the system and the registry and then completely reinstalled the product.
I have forgone purchasing CS3 because of this issue as I am 99% sure that it has still not been resolved.
Basically Photoshop and Acrobat are useless at this point and I am using an old version of Picture Publisher and Macromedia Fireworks to complete my work. This I assume is good advertising for Adobe :)
Anyone have any ideas????

foud your message very helpfull. I experience the same problem when strating a CS2 program (Photoshop, Indesign,...) over a terminal server connection.
It's weird because starting more than one instance is possible (despite what's written in the article ) as long as the users have administrative rights. I've encountererd this problem because my daughter of 11 wants to use Photoshop now. I have a terminal server set up so the kids may experiment with their own desktops whithout the risk to screw it up and because I can access all my programs from wherever I want.
But as I found out now I must buy volume licensing instead of retail (even if it's for just one instance...)
Want to know if possible how "difficult" it was to change your retail to a volume licensed version? Did you have to pay the full amount again? Hope an upgrade exist from Creative Suite CS2 - retail to Creative suite CS3 - volume licensed for the same price as from retail to retail... Or am I hoping to much?

I am having the same issue listed above on my new Mac Mini i just bought, I also contacted Express VPN support and got the same instructions with exception of the command to run in the utilities terminal. I tried the steps listed, and both commands (posted here, and sent to me directly by Express VPN support), and still unable to connect on my Mac Mini running OS X 10.8.2, but I am able to connect on my iPad and my MacBook which is running Mac OS X 10.6.8. Usually Express VPN is spot on with their customer support, but this is taking longer to get resolved. Here is the steps sent to me

PhotoShop 2.0 refuses to load properly

Why does my Adobe Photoshop program 2.0 refuse to load up and gives an error message personalization information incomplete . I've reloaded it filled out everything . It's older than E mail registration requires either Fax Phone or mail . How can I circumvent that portion of Reg. ?.

There was a time, long ago, when Adobe had at least two "starter level" programs, PhotoDeluxe and also a Photoshop LE. The latter was more often seen bundled with a camera, a scanner, or similar. Think that my copy (never installed) came with an old Nikon scanner, but that WAS a long time ago. I believe that PhotoDeluxe was sold separately, but it might also have been included with some bundle. Though I never used it, I thought of it as more of an Image cataloging program, with limited Image-editing capabilities - not too far from the early versions of PSElements w/ its Organizer, but with a reduced set of editing capabilities, however, I might be wrong.
For less than professional needs, I agree that PSElements would be something that I would think about. It is bound to be much more full-featured, than PhotoDeluxe was, and PSE 11 will run with contemporary OS's. It is really not THAT far behind Photoshop, and the price is very good.

Did you reinstall Aperture recently or try to open a library created on a different system?
Check the version of your Aperture Library (reveal the Library in the Finder and select it, the Preview or Get Info shuld show you the Version of the Library.)
If your Aperture 3 Version is not the current Version 3.2.1, but your Library is, then update Aperture to the current version.
If on the other hand both Versions are identical, then check if you have a second, older Aperture version installed. Deinstall the older version or make your most recent Aperture version the active one, by selecting your Aperture Library in the Finder, opening File-Get Info on the LIbrary and setting the "Open With" to your current Aperture Version.

Some websites say that the connection reset, but after following the instructions to fix it, it still doesn't work, and recently they simply refuse to load.

Recently, Mozilla has refused to load certain webpages for me, saying that 'the connection was reset' or sometimes not loading at all. I don't know what's wrong and if it's just me. So far, I've had problems getting onto Random.org, Serenes Forest.net (which actually didn't load a few times), and Dictionary.com. Is there something wrong with my internet, and if there is, what? And why does this happen? (I don't have wireless internet, if that helps deduce the problem.)
I know that maybe this sounds like something that doesn't have to do with Firefox, but Firefox never did this before, and my computer has always worked fine before, so I think maybe something happened to my Firefox that's corrupted it in some way. Has a problem like this come up before, and if so, was it already solved?

If you are using wi-fi:
1- Are you connected?
2- Check if you have full access or only limited access, limited means no internet connection provided. (if so, proceed step 3)
3- Ping your wi-fi modem IP address:
ping 192.168.2.1 (my modem local IP Address)
If you get high number in round trip time (in miliseconds), turn off your modem for about 1 minute.
3- ping any site that did not load

Safari refuses to load phpMyAdmin icons

Safari refuses to load image file from our web server phpMyAdmin because of content-security-Policy, yet all other browsers such as Chrome load the images (icons). Attached is a screen shot. This is version 4.01 of phyMyAdmin and the same problem occurs all the way back to phpMyAdmin version 3.5.7 which loads the images (icons). I can find no content-security problem. Hopefully, I have posted to the correct community since only Safari is creating the problem. Running Safari 5.1.9 on Snow Leopard (10.6.8)

I had the same problem. I'm also running Safari 5.1.9 on Snow Leopard (10.6.8). I just installed phyMyAdmin 4.0.5 and got the same results as on your screenshots.
The problem is the CSP header that blocks the load of external images.
If you comment out some lines in phpMyAdmin-4.0.5/libraries/Header.class.php, you can deactivate the image blocking of the CSP header.

IMovie refuses to load.

It seems that whenever I try to open iMovie, the GUI refuses to load. I can see iMovie up in my tool bar and according to the computer, its running just fine. It might be just coincidence, but this happened right after I downloaded a software update. How should I go about fixing this problem?

Is imovie up to date, have you installed ilife support 8.2, are your display preferences set properly for your display.
