Library shows 65k versions... I only have 4k?

Alright, this is a weird one... I am in the process of getting all of my data ready for a CrashPlan.com backup. I was going through my libraries making sure my images were all referenced, and I stumbled upon a problem.
I have six different libraries, one for paid shoots, the others yearly for non-paid photos. My problem is with just one library. In the "choose library" dialog box, it shows that it contains over 65,000 versions, from 64,000 ish masters. This is nowhere near the case, as I only have around 4,000 versions.
I've done everything I can think of in Aperture to make it show me where it's getting the rest of the versions, including unstacking, making sure I don't have any filters, and adding up my project folders individually. There is just NO sign of all these mysterious images.
The real kicker is: it appears that the data size of the library backs up Aperture's number... the library is all referenced files, and it's nearly 40GB... my other libraries of similar size are between 4-9GB. Still no sign of where all the extra data is.
I did go in and view package contents and get the sizes of some of the folders. The database folder is 3.5GB, the preview folder is 7.5GB, and the thumbnail folder is 17GB. All of those numbers seem a little off based on the size of my other libraries, but holy thumbnails!
My closest library in number of photos (a few hundred more than this one) is 321MB for the database folder, 2.5 for the Preview folder, and 3.75 for the thumbnails. It still seems odd to me that the thumbnails take up more space than all the previews... but who am I to question.
Is there any way to make Aperture rethink its total, and get rid of all this additional meaningless data?
I'd rather not be backing up 30 gigs of extra data that I don't need... Any help would be awesome!

Like if it contained thumbnails and previews for all the images I've ever shot, and just not in the database so Aperture can't see them? That had crossed my mind, but it's still double the amount of photos I've used with Aperture; I've only used about 36k total. I never imported all my photos from before I started using Aperture.
The preview folder in my 2011 library (the library in question) has all the 2011 previews, and two stray previews from 2012 that I accidentally imported into the library.
My yearly libraries are created from scratch with no images. I make a folder structure with each month, and then week-long periods within that. When I import images I make a project with the date, or a specific event if they're all tied to that. When I initially import them, they go into a folder called IMPORT, which I then move each day's photos from. That way I can import several days at one go. The older libraries at the point are only used if I need to access a photo to use for something, or sometimes I'll go in there are re-edit some old ones now that I've gotten better at post processing.
I don't think I'm doing anything sufficiently weird to cause this... but I'm certainly no expert!

I managed to get rid of the phantom usage. Restoring iPhone and resetting the phone settings/data do not work for me.
I had to move the Date on my phone earlier by 1,2,3 months and found the phantom photos in the Recently Deleted Folder. Next, I deleted the photos manually from the Recently Deleted Folder and the usage got freed up from my iPhone.

We have a production site collection in which all of the document libraries seem to be showing one version earlier than
the latest. For example, if we check-in the file today, the version history shows all versions except the current. The same is true for the Date Modified and Modified by fields. This happens with site
owners account.
This is a very strange behavior and I can not find any information on the internet. Anyone with a similar issue?

Didn't you update the system time and date, on any Sharepoint Server, or SQL Server?
Make sure all your Farm Servers (Applicational, Front-Ends and SQL) have the same date and time defined.

Library shows original but will only display clip if double-click to open

I did some editing in PSE, lifting a couple of clips from one of the photos in iPhoto. When I look at the photo in the iPhoto library, it looks fine. However, if I double-click to open it, it will only display one of the lifts - not the original. Where/how can I find the original photo? It seems to me that if it is gone, it would not display in the library. Thank you.

Can you explain what you mean by "clip"?
Every version of iphoto has a Revert to Originals command.
How have you set up editing in Elements?

In Disk 0 one of the drive is not showing in Explorer and only have "Delete Volume" option is available in Disk Management.

there is no drive letter assigned to it so how to run Chkdsk for that 19 GB drive.

Sound / volume ringer no longer shows up on scree , only have sound with earbud attached

iphone 4S had been listening to Audible with earbuds. Now phone will ring but screen no longer will display ringer. To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

Rid your Mac of the adware that is installed. To do that with Safari, go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. Unless you or your software moved or deleted the files from iTunes on your PC, they're still there. Time to go hunting. I don't know where iTunes stores its files on a default installation of a Windows Vista box, but I'd look in your documents folder for something containing "music" in its title. Before you do *anything* to or with the folder, copy it to a safe location. That way if something you're doing messes it up, you've got clean files with which you can work. Make sure you can see all the files in Windows Exploder by first checking your folders settings. By default Windows often hides important system files.

nevermind, i had automatic graphics switching check off. i removed the check mark and then went into about my mac and voila there was the amd card. Figured i'd post what i found in case anyone else was looking for an answer.

I'm using ver. 3.4.5. After having a problem importing some photo's I now have all my library showing up in the one project. I'm worried about just deleting this project in total. Any help would be appreciated

After importing a small group of photo's I noticed that aperture didn't create a project for them as usual. The only place I could see them was in last imported. While last importwas open I selected the photo's and told aperture to creat a new project using the selected one's. I named the project with the date using all cap's so I would know which one it was. What I have now is my whole library showing up in this one project. If I import more pictures It does two things. A new project is created as it normally does. These new thumbnails also show up in the problem project. I tested to see what would happen if I deleted one old picture while the problem project was open. It went to the trash. It was also removed from its original project. If I ignore this what seems to happen when importing at this time is that a new project is created that you can open, it acts normal. The file only contains the correct amount pictures. If I then go to the problem project the thrumbnails show here also.
About 6 mos ago I switch to Aperture from iphoto. I never combined the two libraries. I have around twelve thousand photo's. December 1st I backed up my imac with Time Machine. I don't want to back up again until I get this problem in check.

I'm using Mac OSX 10.7.5
No the one with the caps seems to be working normally.This project with the caps now has four files. Originally I created it with about fifteen. I deleted eleven of them and edited the remaining four. The four files each have one version and its original. It wasn't until after I completed this work that I noticed the privious project when opened and scrolled had the entire library in it.
The test I did went like this. With the problem opened I deleted one file that I new existed prior to this problem. I than opened that project that I new it was from to see if it got deleted and found it gone and moved to trash. I think that tells me that if I delete all the files in the problem project I'll be in trouble. I also have inported to projects each with one file that I edited. They are working fine. I took a look in the problem project and this last
two imports show the thumdnails in it.
Currently on my Hard Drive I have 275 GB free space. My photo's take up 138 GB. As I said on Dec. 1st I backed up the system using time machine. So all of Dec. and part of Jan. inports won't be on it. I could work around the problem project and move those file to a safe place. I think it best not to back up the system with Time Machine until I'm confident the Aperture is runing properly. I'm happy that I control these system backups manually.
I'll need to find out how to copy the Aperture library to another place. I'm sure I can poke around and fined out the process.
