It sounds like just joining Creative Cloud with a different email address/Adobe Id for the full membership would be what you should do rather than upgrading.

The Adobe updater tells me that there are updates to version 12.1 available:

At the moment I have only a UMTS connection to the internet with my PC (DSL problems that will take some days to be fixed).
But I can use my laptop at a friend and download the updates there, copy it to my PC and execute it.

Licensed Photoshop Elements,7.0, Windows, Italian: how to reinstall in a new pc?
I need to reinstall my licence of Photoshop Elements,7.0, Windows, Italian in a new PC.
I've tried from my account and I found the order dated 2009 but the dowload is no more available.
I've also tried from the old version section download in the Adobe site but the Italian version of Photoshop Elements does not appear.
I've tried to install the english version but the when I insert the license KEY it say is not valid.
I've tried to make just a copy from the old PC to the new one but obviously it doesn work.
Where I can dowload Photoshop Elements,7.0 in Italian?

Installer for Photoshop Elements 9.0
Hi,
I bought the licence for Photoshop Elements 9 via the website less than a year ago. I am now using a new machine, as my previous one went to Mac heaven. Please can you point me to the Photoshop Elements 9.0 installer so that I can download it and set it up on my new machine? I have no interest in purchasing Elements 10. I have barely used Elements 9, so I want to use it some more to get my money's worth!
(BTW, I do have backups of the old machine - the data, but not the installer.)

From the translation, I am not sure if you are having problems opening Photoshop Elements 12 Editor or Premiere Elements 12 Editor or both. Which one is it? Is it both?
From what you wrote, it seems like you can open and use the Elements Organizer 12. Is all of that correct?
Please review and consider the troubleshooting in the following - with special attention to disabling the SLCache Folder.

If just the SLCache disabling does not solve the problem, also try disabling both the SLStore and SLCache Folders.

I don't want to upgrade Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 because has not enought new functions but need new Premiere with Organizer.

It is possible to use both of them, seperately though. If you wish to do use some interoperable feature, that wont be possible, since, as Steve said, they both use thier respective organizer. -

Adobe Premiere Elements 11 & Photoshop Elements 11 Errors, Downloading Problems, Uninstalling probs
On May 8, 2013 I ordered Adobe Premiere Elements 11 & Photoshop Elements 11. To this day they do not work properly, did not download properly, nor can I get them uninstalled properly to reinstall properly. I have not been able to contact Adobe all these months, & now they tell me I have to pay $39.00 more just to speak to them. I refuse to give them anymore money than I have already gave them! Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue? I currently have Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 & Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0. I was upgrading.
Thank you so much for replying. But I sort of solved the problem, yet I didn't solve the problem. I am running Windows 7 on my computer. When I purchased Elements & Premiere 11, I purchased a 1 time download from Adobe. Upgrading from 7.0. When I went to download it, then install it, it told me that through an error message, that it was not downloaded or installed correctly, so I would have to uninstall the whole thing & start from scratch, basically. So, I went into the control panel to delete the program. Hit uninstall, & it told me after it was done, that everything was not uninstalled & had uninstalled incorrectly. Now it was missing from the Control Panel, & I could not find the remains anywhere, I thought I would try to redownload it again. So, going through the process, it would let me download it, but it would not install due to the remains of the previous installation. I tried everything. And when I tried to go straight to Adobe, it was a no go. I put it on the back burner for months & used my 7.0 occassionally. Today I decided I wanted it fixed. I went to Adobe...my licenses are still in my account. But no matter what I did, it would not accept my old licenses. With the help of a previous poster, maybe on a different thread, I was able to uninstall the old program remnants. But I could still not download 11. I just decided to cut my loses, & purchased 12. I bought the trials, downloaded them, they worked great, & I purchased them. So, all's well that ends well. Of course, I am $170-some dollars in the hole, but whatever it takes. Again thank you for your reply to my delima.

By the today e-received updates for Adobe Photoshop Elemenst 12.1 and Adobe Premiere Elements 12.1 I got this error messages: Failure code = U44M1P2003. What to do? System = Window7 64bit.
Sometimes the Adobe servers used for the updates can get busy and it’s necessary to try a couple of times. Also make sure you don’t have a firewall which may be blocking the connection. It sometimes helps to temporarily disable internet security/anti-virus software. Because the Organizer is shared by both programs it often helps to do the PSE update first, followed by the PRE update in that order.
Select the 12.1 update for PSE from the updater dialog and ensure everything else is unchecked. Quit PSE and PRE if you have it running and then start the update.
If PSE updates properly to 12.1 repeat the process for PRE. -

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong application, namely Adobe Premiere Elements.
If you meant Adobe Photoshop Elements, you're in the wrong forum. This is not the Elements forum.

How do I update Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on a new computer?
I have previously used both Adobe Photoshop elements 9 and Adobe Premiere elements 9 on my old computer with Windows XP operating system without problems. Now I have a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit operating system. I have installed both programs but when I try to update them I get a message saying "The update server is not responding. The server might be offline temporarily or the internet or firewall setting may be incorrect. Please try again later." I have tried numerous times with the same result. I have tried uninstalling both programs and re-installing but still get the same message. What do I have to do to be able to update these programs so I can get on and use them? The information with the programs says they both work on both Windows XP and 7.

Thank youThere isn't much good news to offer. The first mention below is probably your only shot without purchase, unless you could find someone to transfer licenses with.
You won't be able to install a Windows version on the Mac unless you install some Windows emulation software on the Mac.
You won't be able to activate a Mac version of the software on the machine because your license/serial number is only valid for Windows.
CS5 is too old to qualify for a platform swap and Adobe no longer sells CS5 so you would have to take your chances with a third party vendor if you decided to purchase a Mac version.
Just to clarify, there is no such thing as a student version of the software... the license dictates the status of the software. So you won't be able to find a student version either -
