Licence for Photoshop v 9 as part of CS2

I have a licence code for the above and have tried downloading Photoshop Elements v9 package
However I have noticed that CS2 isn't downloadable
and when I try and enter the licence code it says its not valid
Any suggestions ?
Any help much appreciated

Photoshop CS2 (version 9) and Photoshop Elements 9 are two completely different Adobe products.
You cannot enter your Photoshop version 9 serial number in to Photoshop Elements 9 - it won't work.

It sounds like just joining Creative Cloud with a different email address/Adobe Id for the full membership would be what you should do rather than upgrading.

Installer for Photoshop Elements 9.0

Hi,
I bought the licence for Photoshop Elements 9 via the website less than a year ago. I am now using a new machine, as my previous one went to Mac heaven. Please can you point me to the Photoshop Elements 9.0 installer so that I can download it and set it up on my new machine? I have no interest in purchasing Elements 10. I have barely used Elements 9, so I want to use it some more to get my money's worth!
(BTW, I do have backups of the old machine - the data, but not the installer.)

Wanting to purchase lightroom photoshop deal but will be getting a new Laptop in a few months time how does it affect the licence for the pc its installed on? and do I need to have 2 licences to use on 2 computers?

The PC will be used mainly for photo storage but could I use the lightroom on both PC and Laptop or would I need 2 licences?

It's not silly , but I'm assuming you're referring to a cloud offer. If so, if you'd looked in the terms of use, you'd have seen that you can install your software on two separate computers as long as it's only used by one person, and activated with the same Adobe ID. So you can put it on your present computer, and then install a copy on the new one when you get it.

What do I do if I get the error message "invalid licence number for Photoshop Elements 13"?

I have just purchased Photoshop Elements 13 on line and received an email with the serial number to activate my trial copy on a Mac.
When I enter the serial number to license my trial copy, I get an error message saying that " this is not a valid license number for Photoshop 13.
I have followed all instructions on Adobe's troubleshooting pages. Same result.
I have reinstalled the trail version. Same result.
I have contacted Adobe through chat and for the past three days I keep getting the message "chat not available".
I have called the Adobe sales department. They confirmed that the serial number I registered is the correct licence number but told me they cannot provide product support.
I have posted a message on this forum. No response.
Before I ask for a refund any futher thoughts on what I can do next?

I did try to uninstall and reinstall. It messed up my computer. I had to "RESTORE" from the prior days backup. This was not helpful at all. I'm used to losing all my stuff when I connect to iTunes, that's a whole other issue, but now I'm completely banned from any updates to my phone at all. Geeze.......

if you bought Photoshop CC subscription then you dont need any serial no as it will activate the software using your Adobe ID and password.

Photoshop licence for small company purchase

Hello!
We're a small company based in Luxembourg and we'd like to purchase Photoshop (only it). As I understood, you have a licence for small companies?
One year subscription costs 17.99 euro per month, and a single month is 27.99 euro.
Can we purchase Photoshop for only several months (say, Feb, May and Aug) if we're not planning to use it regularly?

You can cancel and reinstate monthly plans as you see fit, you just miss all possible discounts when you do it that way. And well, if you only use PS once every few months the smart thing probably to do would be to learn GIMP and some other free tools, meaning you proabbaly don't use any advanced features that you coulkd not find in those free tools as well. Otherwise look into getting CC for Teams or a volume licensing plan, but those require at least a full 1 year commitment.

Bought upgrade for Photoshop Elements 12 - original 'Elements' was v. 1 - license number not accepted and Adobe not answering help

I have entered the 24 character licence from v.1 of Photoshop Elements and the Upgrade to v.12 says it isn't valid.
When I regestered v.1, I was living in NY and used a different userid (and I told adobe about this). When I try to reregister v.1,
Adobe tells me it is already registered. I asked for help on Friday, June 27, and I still haven't received a response from Adobe.
What can I do so I can start using v. 12?

Year-old MacBook adequate for PhotoShop?

My friend is a bit of a computer klutz and has a MacBook bought over a year ago. He was ready to buy an expensive Mac Pro desktop machine today for Photoshop work but I told him his MacBook would probably be powerful enough, and if not, an iMac would be good. BTW his MacBook is the higher-end black version with 1 GB ram, 120 GB HD, and a single processor chip (2 Ghz?) - the faster Core 2 Duo version came out about a month after he bought.
He has a couple of nice Canon digital SLR cameras and shoots lots of images on vacations and wants to do minor PhotoShop touchups from RAW files and print them. He also has Aperture, a 22" Samsung widescreen LCD monitor, a 1 TB USB/Firewire external hard drive, an expensive new large-format Epson printer, and a USB stylus pad.
So what version of Photoshop would be good, and is this MacBook capable? Or would iPhoto be sufficient for this? I think all he might need is a USB hub to increase USB port capacity for the extra devices, but actually the 2 ports on the MacBook might be enough. We have tested the Samsung monitor (226BW) and it works fine with the MacBook on the DVI cable. I think he would be able to use the external HD for archival storage of his images, and take the MacBook with him on vacations for dumping the RAW images from the camera.
Also, what is a good book or online site to get him up to speed on Mac? He knows how to do a few basic Mac things. This is unfortunately a common problem I think - lots of people who were into film photography are having a hard time making the transition to digital cameras, computers, and software.
I don't have a Mac (will get one soon), so I can't properly advise him yet.

The "Core Duo" model MacBook still has two processors inside, that's the "duo" part of the name. If it only had one, it would be a "Core Solo". (There were never any "Core Solo" MacBooks, but there were some Mac minis.) The "2" in the "Core 2 Duo" just means it's the second version of the "Core Duo" processor.
So what version of Photoshop would be good, and is this MacBook capable? Or would iPhoto be sufficient for this?
iPhoto is NOT an image editing application. Although it does have a very limited set of adjustments you can make, it's not a replacement for PhotoShop. In fact, if your friend does have Aperture, he doesn't need iPhoto. Aperture is the "pro" replacement for iPhoto.
I would strongly suggest upgrading to 2GB of RAM and using PhotoShop CS3. It should run fine, that's what I have on mine. I use it, mostly, to touch-up pictures from my iPhoto, so I'm no PhotoShop power user. But, I do open it almost every day.

When I hit the Buy Now button I am put in a field to buy Photoshop Elements 13, with no way to change to Elements 10. I do not want to go through the hassle of reinstalling etc. In fairness, it's been over a month since making the decision to buy. Still, I consider this a nightmare. Adobe does not sell older versions of their software. If you wish to purchase an older version you will have to find and take your chances with a third party vendor.

Problem with Subscribing for Photoshop CS5.1 Extended Subscription Edition

Okay, so it goes like this... (I just downloaded and tried to set up Photoshop) The part where I put the serial number worked just fine with the green check sign and all.
But after that and me signing in, the dialgue box goes like: "We were unable to start your subscription for Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 Extended Subscription Edition.
Please choose Close and re-launch your product. You will be prompted to start your subscription once you launch the product."
So I clicked close and re-launched Photoshop. But when the same dialogue box came out, the same thing happened; even after I correctly filled in the serial numbers,
I still couldn't subscribe for Photoshop and thus have a trial account of 30 days instead of a full version.

Is the offer for Photoshop CC at $9.99 for desktop/laptop pc? I had been researching photoshop all day and saw other monthly payment offers and said wow! This must be a part of a year end or black friday deal, so I signed up for it. After downloading to my pc, I noticed that looked more like a phone sized app.

You say your country is not accepted, but have not told what the country is. The fact is, there are a lot of countries where you are simply not able to subscribe to the Creative Cloud.
