Are you logging in as the administrator and disabling anti-virus? Is it a S/N issue. If so, you may have an upgrade version and need the S/N from the previous version to register Acrobat. We need to know the message as mentioned by TSN if we are to help further.

  • Acrobat extended pro - Submit by Email form issue

I have downloaded a trial version of Acrobat Extended Pro that I am reviewing to purchase for work.  I am trialling the creation of a form that I want users to submit via email. - I want the completed PDF to be submitted in the email, which the help information states can be done.  I have placed the Submit by Email button on the form, but I don't have the option of selecting the 'Submit' tab to be able state that I want the completed PDF to go in the email. Is it because I'm using a trial version or is there something else I am doing incorrectly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    George,
Thanks But when I go to the Reader Extended PDF option under Save As the Three options that appear are grayed out?  Any Idea how to fix that?

  • Licence for acrobat XI pro

I have got a serial number of acrobat XI pro as a licence from my company (Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie, Mainz, Germany). How can I install and use this?

If your company provides a serial, they should be responsible for providing the media or download, or installing it for you.
However, you can try downloading the demo. That MIGHT accept the serial number you've been given.

  • Additional Licence for Acrobat XI Pro

I have an Acrobat XI Pro licence (on PC) but wish to add Notebook; both Windows 8.1 powered. Question is, do I need to buy another licence?, is it possible?, if so download instructions will be appreciated. If reply is buy another suite entirely, pls let me know. Thx. F. X. Swett

You are allowed to have two activated instalations of Adobe products, so having it on your two machines is fine.  If you originally purchased a download you might have a link to download in your Adobe account online.  If you still need a download resopurce then you can download the trial version and use your serial number to activate it to full use.  There should be a link for the trial version in the product page of the Adobe site.

  • Lost licence, Adobe Acrobat X Pro

    Hi,
I have used our Adobe products for about 3 years. All of a sudden, Adobe Acrobat X Pro has lost it's license?
It doesn't accept our serial and together with our IT-guy I have tried all possible solutions?
    What to do?
    Mette

    Hey mette,
Please confirm that you are providing the serial number for Acrobat X and not CS5.
You might navigate to this link to find and confirm with your serial number:

  • Update Acrobat extended Pro

After a computer crash I had to re-install my Acrobat Pro Extended version 9. This was successful and now I have version 9.0 again. However the previous installation had progressively updated to version 9.5. I have run the updater but am informed :There are no updates available at this time". I then look on the website and down load AcrobatUpd945_all_incr.msi hoping to run some updates this was. This does not work either - informed that the patch cannot be run.
I want to update to where I was before the computer crash as I realise that there are a number of important security issues that were dealt with. I can of course solve the problem by buying the latest version (XI), and indeed I do have a copy of version XI on another machine, but I object to being forced to do this when version 9 works perfectly and I have had no problems for several years. I use Acrobat extensively for creating forms and love the product. Please help direct me on how i can run the appropriate updates. The filed must be somewhere and available. I know that Adobe no longer support version 9, but surely I can retreat to my previous happy state????

I have successfully updated Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended from version 9.0 to 9.5.5 using the files downloaded as suggested. Many thanks!
Small note. The files with files names including "me" e.g. AcrobatUpd920_all_me_incr.msp, presumably are meant for updates on Windows ME systems. I tried these as well and they do not run, which is to be expected
Another Note: It is a lengthy process as there are many individual updates, but not all need the system rebooted afterwards. Fortunately the ones that do actually inform you of this after the update is complete.

  • Change font in Adobe Acrobat Extended Pro

I was wondering how I am able to change the font in Adobe Acrobat.  I know we can use the type writer, but how can I make it my own font, color and size? Please help! =)

You cannot create fonts with Acrobat.
Doing so requires a dedicated font creation application.
Or purchas of Fonts to augment what the OS and applications install.
To change fonts in a PDF to something else that is on the local machine and available to Acrobat you could try this:
Select characters with the TouchUp Text too.
Right click for the context menu.
    Select Properties.
    Select the Text tab.
Look over the configuration options to see if they meet your needs.
    Be well...

    Hello,
I have recently purchased 5 licences of Acrobat X Pro and downloaded the application from the website. However, once I attempt to install it, i get this (screenshot below) and install gets aborted.
Here is screenshot of my computer configuration (same accross 100+pcs)
I am using legally purchased Windows XP Pro, all updates installed regularly and I do not have Acrobat Reader installed.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    You must have SP3 installed.

  • AutoCAD Revit Architekture 2010 in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended

    Hallo,

  • Is LiveCycle only a part of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro EXTENDED, or does it come with the pro version too?

Sorry, I know this is dated but my company doesnt offer Acrobat X (yet. It is currently pending approval from IT). Anyway, I am wondering if the Livecycle designer program comes with the Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional version or just the Extended which I cannot get? This is very important as I will be using it to create a form (literally just one form lol).
    Thanks

Designer ES is distributed with both Acrobat 9 Pro and Acrobat 9 Pro Extended for Windows.

  • Pdf form created in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended does not function properly when viewed by Reader

    Hello all-
I have created a form in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and have an issue because when others view the form in Adobe Reader some of the functions do not work- such as the attach a file button I created, or the save, print buttons (all are execute a menu item). These work on my Acrobat 9 Pro Extended but not on Reader.
I have tried saving many different versions- with security (password) and made sure to allow printing and commenting, editing, digital signatures etc...
    Without any security...
Even tried extending features in Adobe Reader!
The response from others is that it all works, except the ATTACH A FILE button- when they click on it it compresses, but, nothing happens!
I don't know what else to do! (I guess people could just attach things to the e-mail that is generated from the submit button, but worried people might forget at that step once they are past that section on the form and they jump to email to submit).
    Help please!
    A.

I've already extended the rights and made sure to save to activate that... as well as password protected the docs etc... still nothing...
I am aware that those with Basic Adobe Reader need rights extended to be able to use functions available to Adobe Pro.

  • Text spacing goes crazy after editing a pdf in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended

Recently upgraded to Acrobat 9 Pro Extended from 7.  I have old pdf documents that need minor editing.  When I edit text with Text Touchup tool, I get an error that font substitution taking place, usually  TimesNewRoman Postscript to just TimesNewRoman.  Once I save the pdf, text throughout the entire document is spaced randomly, i.e. "Doc    ument is n    o     t     fo   m    atted  correctly".  I do not have the original source documents to re-scan or recreate the PDF.  If I create a new document using 9, I embed my fonts or I get the same problem.  I can't do this with the hundreds of old documents I have.  Is there a fix? I have tried Adobe Tech support via email with no response.
I am using Distiller to print to pdf.
I am using Vista Home Premium (ugh!) but tried it on an XP system with same results.
All my documents are text, and were OCR'd using Abbyy FineReader originally.

Thanks for the input, but I don't have the originals in either hardcopy or OCR'd files.  My workaround is to re-OCR the pdf, make the changes I need and then save to PDF.  This makes a lot more work.  I am really trying to figure out what changed in 9 from 7 that causes this to happen.  I believe it is an issue with the fonts, was just hoping for a fix.
The edits to these documents are minor, like removing some highlighting or taking away a few words of colored text, but they are necessary, just very unhappy that it now can take hours to do something it used to take minutes to do.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro Extended crashes when trying to distribute form

    Hi.
I am experiencing an issue with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended on Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit.
I have created a pdf file derived from an html and css file.
The pdf file comes out perfectly with form fields automatically detected, etc.
However, when I try to distribute the form, by clicking on
    1. Forms > Distribute Form...
    2. Manually collect responses in my email inbox..
    3. Save a local copy and manually send it later.
Acrobat.exe crashes with faulting module acroform.api. when trying to create the response file.
Faulting application acrobat.exe, version 9.0.0.332, faulting module acroform.api, version 9.0.0.332, fault address 0x00025878.
    Any ideas?
I can successfully distribute a different form created from InDesign.
    Thank you.

Any ideas?   there was an update on adobe dated 2/25/13.   Perhaps if I uninstall it?   I need advice on how to uninstall. When I view updates and click on it, and then click uninstall, it goes back to the Program Screen, in Control, for all programs. Then do I click on Acrobat and Uninstall?  I am nervous about doing this. Thanks
