LICENCIA CS5

Hace un año compre la licencia de CS5 para estudiantes para un MAC portatil. Ahora tengo un imac y me gustaria saber la forma más economica de poder tener tambien el CS5 en el ordenador nuevo sin tener que volver a comprar el paquete completo. Se pueden ampliar las licencias para dos ordenadores . Uno lo utilizo para la facultad y el grande para casa. Gracias

La licencia te permite instalarla en dos equipos y usarla en ambos de forma no concurrente, a la vez, asi que cuando estes con uno si el otro no esta funcionando, es legal y no te va a pedir ninguna otra licencia.

La única versión disponible, con licencia "perpetua" que se puede comprar, sin mantener una subscripción anual, es Photoshop Extended CS6, repito CS6, la última disponible antes de empezar el sistema tipo Cloud.
- La versión CS6 y tambien la actual, funcionan igual que la CS5, lo único es que añaden nuevas opciones o posibilidades. -
En la página principal de Adobe.es, pulsa sobre comprar y... abjo del todo a la izqda., sobre fondo gris pone Creative Suite 6, al pulsar a'hi entras en el acceso a los productos C6.

(La versión CS5 dejó de comercializarse cuando apareció la CS6, o la CS5.5, hace ya mas de dos años)
(Quizás haya una diferencia en el panel de Ajustes que ahora se llama Propiedades e incluye opciones del panel de Máscara, y tambien se ha mejorado el interfaz de opciones del 3D, con una más que notabe mejora de velocidad)

El adobe photoshop Cs5 no me coje el serial de Mac que me pone en el disco.

Hace un par de años, realice un curso de fotografía profesional con CEAC, este me mando el material necesario para hacerlo, entre ellos el Adobe Photoshop Cs5 (Original), este me traía dos discos, uno para sistema windows y otro para Mac. Lo instale en Windows y perfecto.
Ahora mi problema, acabado el curso, como realizo un gran número de fotografías, me salía más rentable pasarlas y editarlas al Mac que en un HP (Debido a la memoria, obviamente), pero al instalar el CS5 en el Mac y poner el número de serie correspondiente, me dice que el número de serie es incorrecto.
¿Una ayudita?

El número de serie de las licencias de los programas, hasta la versión CS6, son independientes y separados para Windows y Mac.
Y ademas son diferentes y no son intercambiables.
Es decir si tienes un número de serie para Windows (al parecer te funcionó en Windows) de Photoshop CS5, no vale, y no funciona para la versión Mac.
Aunque tengas los discos originales de Windows y Mac del programa, si sólo tienes un núemro de serie, sólo tienes una licencia, y en tu caso es de Windows.

Alguien que hable español, Perdi el CD original. Alguien que me diga si es posible obtener mi numero de serie de mi creative suite CS5 standar desde la web. Gracias

a veces - por cualquier razón - CC no funcione correctamente (incluso para mí). En este caso, debe eliminar CC completamente (no sólo con los recursos de la PC de placa) y volver a instalar, y con la ayuda de la "herramienta de limpieza de Adobe Creative Cloud".
En este caso, recomiendo la herramienta de limpieza de Adobe Creative Suite (No utilizan sus propias herramientas de mesa de PC). Cito:
Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) Cleaner Tool soluciona problemas de instalación para las aplicaciones de Adobe Creative Cloud y Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6). La herramienta elimina los registros de instalación de versiones preliminares de las aplicaciones de Creative Cloud o Creative Suite. No afecta a las instalaciones existentes de las versiones anteriores de las aplicaciones de Creative Cloud o Creative Suite.

A veces, el archivo es "opm.db" de los malhechores en el directorio de Adobe OOBE. Eliminar este archivo.

Instalar inDesign CS5.5 con Creative Cloud?

Hola compañeros,
Mi pregunta es si es posible descargar y activar inDesign CS5.5 con una subscripción a Creative Cloud Suite?

Hola Josep María, gracias por las explicaciones, es lo que suponía que hacías.
Bueno si tienes una licencia de la CS5.5 no debes preocuparte es (parece ser) para siempre. En cambio la Creative Cloud es para utilizar desde la CS6 en adelante, mas concretamente la actual CC, la diferencia ya sabes es que tan pronto dejes de pagar te cortan la luz y el gas.
Asi que mi consejo en este tema es que mantengas la versión CS5.5, y por otro lado instales las últimas versiones de subscripción CC, que pueden coexistir. Aunque si no tienes la CS5.5....
Cómo lo has hecho entonces hasta ahora, para editarla en la 5.5? (O tienes acaso una CS5?)
Respecto al IDML, que es lo que no sale exacto?
Y lo de responsabilizar a la imprenta en el resultado final de la impresión, lo tienen tanto con un IDML o con un PDF, creo que te refieres a la etapa de preimpresión o "fotomecánica".
Supongo que abrir el IDML en InDesign, revisarlo y hacer el PDF para el CTP son servicios y tiempo que te cobran. Si les llevaras un PDF listo para imprimir te ahorrarías dinero y quizás tiempo.
Has probado a hacer un PDF de tu revista a modo de prueba y enviarlo a la imprenta y que te lo revisen si está todo correcto? Si lo haces con tiempo, sin prisas, podrás acabar haciendo PDFs que salgan como quieres o quieran en la imprenta, como los ves en tu equipo.
(Sé que no es tan sencillo y requiere ciertos conocimientos de preimpresión. pero cuando abren tus archivos en Indesign, sabes si tienen que cambiar algo? Si no es asi, se pueden limitar a darte un preajuste para hacer los PDFs igual que los hacen ellos en InDesign).
Como ya sabes el PDF incrusta imágenes y fuentes en el PDF. En cambio el IDML no incluye ninguno de esos elementos. Les facilitas "alegremente" las fuentes usadas (no es legal hacerlo) y tus imágenes en alta resolución? Hay que tener mucha confianza para eso.

Tell if CS5 or CS5.5 at a glance?

Is there a way to know if an After Effects Project File is CS5 or CS5.5 at a glance? I mean by just clicking on the info or something? (Running a Mac). I have 5.5 and I down save them to 5 to send them to people and I was wondering if there was a faster way to tell than just opening every single file and checking it in AE. Thanks!

If you open an AEP file in a text editor like BBEdit you can actually
see which version of AE created it by looking in the meta data at the
end of the file:

I can't find anything in the file that shows which version of file it
was saved as, though...
Opening a binary file like this in a text editor always comes with a
risk of you accidentally changing something that will make your file
corrupt, so be careful.

Adobe Bridge CS5 in windows 7 not working?

Adobe Bridge CS5 in windows 7 not working. I was using bridge perfectly for last 2 years. It stops working since 3 days. I tried to install updates. Showing some error to install.
Tried to install creative cloud..again some error. Error code : 82

DW CS5 will not open pages from local view sidebar

Using the latest DW and having a major issue. Sites are visible through manage sites; all is fine with settings. However, when I open a site to edit, if I try to click on the right side (local view) to open the html pages, DW gives me an error message - for example - "HD/user/site/xxxx.html not found" but if I open the file from the menu, it opens. I can edit but not "put" the file or add to the remote server manually. I thought one of the site's files was corrupt but then I realized it's happening for all my sites (which work fine on my laptop - also running same version of DW). Is one of the DW settings off? Should I reinstall? Has anyone encountered this issue? Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't have CS5 and I've never seen this problem before, but I would start with deleting and then re-creating the site definition.

After Effects CS5.5 Wont Open - Application Just Bounces In The Dock.

Hi all,
I appear to have encountered a problem with After Effects... I was working on a project earlier today which usalizes a VideoCopilot plug-in called Element 3D. After a quick break I came back to the project and attempted to load in the 'Free Earth Project' by VideoCopilot. (http://www.videocopilot.net/blog/2012/08/free-earth-project-for-element-3d/). As their site suggests, I had to place a downloaded project folder called 'Earth' into Element 3D's 'My_Models' folder. Immediately after this I tried loading After Effects and encountered the issue. I'm not sure if it's couincidence or directly related which is why I am posting here.
After Effects does nothing but bounce in the Dock. When I right-click the application I'm met with a 'Force Quit' option, and a message saying "Application not responding". I'm on OS X 10.7.4. I'm not able to tell you what version of AE I'm running, only that it's CS5.5, as I cannot lanch it to find out. All other Adobe products work with no problem.
I have already contacted the support team at VideoCopilot and they have sent me an updated build of Element 3D in an attempt to resolve the issue, unfortunately though this did not work. Addiitonally, I have tried booting into Safe-Mode and tried to launch the application from there, as well as using Disk-Utility to 'Repair Permissions'. All of these steps have failed to get AE working again.
If anyone knows of a way to fix this I would be most grateful. I'm working to a very tight deadline and am afraid that I will miss it. Additionally, if anyone has any fixes that doesn't require reinstalling applications that'll be a bonus!

Is there a way to create a web photo album with Dreamweaver CS5.5?

I used this command in earlier versions of Dreamweaver, but have not had any luck finding a remedy for CS5.5....Appreciate advice.
