License a third computer for CS6

We are about to purchase a third computer. We currently have CS6 installed on two machine (MacBook Pro and iMac), and we will be updating our iMac shortly. We will however be keeping the old mchine, and we would like to be able to run the programs on all three machines. Currently it will only allow us to have them installed on two. What do we need to do in order to be able to license the third machine? Thanks.

From your use of the word “we” you are implying that perhaps you are using a single copy of an Adobe Creative Suite on multiple systems used by more than one user. The Adobe Creative Suite EULA (End User License Agreement) permits two installations and activations per copy of the retail product (whether purchased in a retail box or by download), but those two installations are for the purpose of a single user having access to the software on an office computer and a home computer or mobile computer. It is still a single license for one user.
Thus, if you have two separate users, they require two copies of the Adobe Creative Suite. For a third user, you need a third copy / license. For larger organizations, Adobe does have volume licensing plans (see http://www.adobe.com/go/gffooter_licensingprograms).

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your phone manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in iTunes and transferred your purchases.

I have the License Number for CS6 Creative Suite, but when I downloaded Creative Suite and tried to license the product, it keeps coming up with an error, "The Serial Number is not valid for Adobe Photoshop CC." How do I register my product?

Photoshop CC is the equivalent of CS7... and it is available ONLY by paying for a monthly subscription... your CS6 serial number does not work for CC

As far as I know, you don't "add a license to your existing license" unless you have the special volume license plan... you buy a NEW license

I bought a volume license for CS6 Design Standard. Because of my system restrictions for now I can only run a prior version (CS5.5). I have also previously downloaded its trial version which works perfect. Now, after buying a license for CS6 I would like to get a serial number for a prior version as well. How would I go about receiving it?

Hi Nelle,
You can request downgrade from Adobe, but you can't get back to CS6 after that, so it might be better to upgrade your system?
Anyway, in my laptop CS6 has been running faster and better than CS5.5 without any changes to system, so you could give it a try before downgrading...

I know what you are asking and in the other thread, you were told it was for 2010 only. There is some support for 2009 but not for your old version. Go with the dongle suggested or upgrade your version of LabVIEW.

Log in into your Adobe account and go to "My Products". You'll find a list of all the products you've ever registered with Adobe.

Unfortunately when Adobe products are restored from backup, especial CS4 and especially Mac, it breaks licensing.
There is a python script included in the license recovery kit that should work if you are familiar with Terminal.
If not, you must reinstall your CS4 suite. You don't need to delete your preferences, so it should be the same as before.

You should be able to install the products on two computers as long as they are not running at same. Also the platform should be MAC.

How can I purchase an unlimited license for CS6 for use by a small business? We need to be able to use CS6 tools on at least 6 different computers, both macs and PCs.
Do I have to purchase CS6 from another individual or business and transfer the license or is it still somehow available through Adobe? How can I determine how many users are allowed and the price of the product? Do I have to purchase the entire Creative Suite, or can I just purchase an unlimited license for Photoshop 6 only?
