License agreement number to install updates

firefox wants to install updates, telling me very important to do so, but when i click on install and next, i keep getting a question needing the license agreement number and telling me to go to firefox web site...

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

  • HT1349 I can not update my iTunes on my PC.  The update gets to 42.60MB and all it tells me to do is download manually which I do and it still doesn't work.  All it say is that an error occured with no code number while instaling updates.

I need help trying to update my iTunes.  I have Windows 7 and it will not allow me to update my download.  It is very frustrating.  I have tried all the support options but have gotten no where with it.

Have you tried downloading the installer directly from http://www.apple.com/itunes ?

  • Can't "OK"  Software License Agreement

    Stupid Question or Stupid problem
I can't click the "OK" (or yes) button to agree to the itunes Software License Agreement after v8 install.
I've shrunk the screen size to I can pull down the agreement box in the bottom right corner (to make it longer), but it won't let me pull it down. It just gives me the no no clicking sound. I can't see the box to even click it.
So can't get into itunes. Any suggestions??

Open the Control Panel, click on Displays, and set the monitor's resolution to at least 1024 by 768; if you're using a Mac, click on System Preferences in the Dock and open Displays from there.

  • Updating RE: License Agreement needs to be accepted, but not an admin

    Hi all,
I deploy the Java RE to a number of Windows XP clients via wpkg (http://wpkg.org/Java#JRE_without_Java_Quick_Starter_on_32-bit_hosts) because an Java Web Start application named EGVP [1] should be used on the clients. The author of this application says that it has to be installed (i. e. started once) with administrative privileges, what I've done (manually) and all works fine.
A problem occurs when wpkg updates the Java RE (e. g. from 1.6.19 to 1.6.20 this week): If the "normal" user without admin privileges starts its EGVP application after the update is performed, he/she is asked to accept the license agreement from Sun/Oracle for the Java RE. If you click on "Yes" there, an error message says that it needs administrative rights to save the changes?!
As a quick&dirty workaround, I changed the folder security permissions for \Program Files\Java\jre6 so that the user group has full access to it, this solves the problem temporarily, but is not a real solution, I guess ;-) Furthermore, the next Java RE update via wpkg removes and re-creates the folder by uninstalling the old and installing the new Java version, so that my permissions are lost then (thankfully, it should not be a permanent condition).
So my question is: Has any of you a similar problem or any idea how to solve this? I could try to set the folder permissions after an update via wpkg, too, but I don't think that's a good idea.
I hope that any of you has an idea how to deal with this!
    Thanks in advance,
    -Phil

  • I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 from Amazon.  It has been installed successfully.  However, when it comes up asking me to Accept the Licensing Agreement it continues to loop back to that screen.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but s

I had previously purchased a DVD disk from Amazon.  I did get the program to install today.  However it continues to loop back to the screen where you accept the licensing agreement.  I had lost the previous serial number and was given a new one by Adobe.
After trying over and over again to install the version from their download, I purchased a new copy from Amazon.  I am still getting the same loop on the software where it asks you to Accept the Licensing Agreement.  Short of reformatting my hard drive and starting with a clean PC, I have no idea what to try.  Is the previous software installed somewhere?  I had uninstalled it prior to downloading and installing the new software.  Any help is appreciated!

I'm going to try reinstalling Windows 7 and installing the software that way.  I've reinstalled it before so am not concerned about taking that step.  If I need further assistance, I'll add a reply.  Thanks!

  • How to install eLearning Suite silently without the license agreement prompt

I was able to install the eLearning Suite 1.0 by following the guideline "How to install Captivate Silently".  I used the "setup --mode=silent --deploymentFile=install.xml" method, and that worked except one thing.  Adobe Air prompted for a License Agreement, and I also got a demo screen pop up.  How do I supress these two pop ups when using the silent mode setup?  I know how to do this for Captivate, but folder structures are different in eLearning Suite.
    Thanks.

    Bob,
Let me know if this summary is correct:
    1. If possible allways let Vista install apps in default directories.
    2. Adobe apps and their newer versions are by default installed in new directories (except for Acrobat). For example CS4 MC would be installed as a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. Another example, eLearning Suite 4 would be installed as a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. Therefore all settings in each newly installed application need to be set up. Does each application then have its own unique data directory structure?
    3. Since each Suite is a separate entity each license is seperate. This avoids cross license issues between different Suites.
    4. If a user allways wants the same (latest) version of an application to load then one must manually uninstall old versions in the other Suites.
For example, as a default install eLearning Suite 4 would be a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. The user would then delete the following older CS3 applications (as the newer versions are in eLearning Suite 4):
    Photoshop CS3 Extended
    Flash CS3 Professional
    Dreamweaver CS3
    Soundbooth CS3
Except for Acrobat as the default install would have updated the CS3 version.

  • Thin Installer Silent Install Microsoft Hotfix without license agreement

When you install Microsoft hotfixes with Thin Installer, each time we
have to confirm the license agreement manually.
    The settings are as follows:
    <Xml version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"?
    <configuration>
    <RepositoryPath> \\ intappl \ install \ ThinkvantageRepository </ RepositoryPath>
    <LogPath> C: \ temp \ thininstaller </ LogPath>
    <LanguageOverride> EN </ LanguageOverride>
    <blocksize> 4096 </ BlockSize>
    <AskBeforeClosing> NO </ AskBeforeClosing>
    <DisplayLicenseNotice> NO </ DisplayLicenseNotice>
    <IgnoreLocalLicense> YES </ IgnoreLocalLicense>
    <IgnoreRMLicCRCSize> YES </ IgnoreRMLicCRCSize>
    <DebugEnable> NO </ DebugEnable>
    <ContentMode> Active </ Content fashion>
    </ Configuration>
Is there a way to install the Microsoft Hotfixes silent?
    Thanks,
    Michael Pfeifer

    Hi,
I remember some time ago this was a huge discussion in the development team of the ThinIsntaller application.
And it was agreed, that by a MS security hotfix and BIOS update there must be a user interraction.
It might be possible, that ever since then it was changed, but I'm no longer that good informed about the procedure and the processes that are implemented into the new versions of ThinInstaller.
So I really doubt, whether there is a fix, for your situation.
There can be only a workaround, to not to install these updates.
    Cheers

  • Getting Blank EULA (License Agreement Screens) when I try to edit or when I close Acrobat Pro 11 on Mac. Have done all the updates to  latest CC.

I have been trying to get Acrobat Pro 11 installed and operating for the last two days with this error. I have unistalled and re-installed. Updated to the latest CC app, to no avail.
I see this was an error in 2012 but there is no options in the new CC Apps to "disable" then "re-enable" the app.
Adobe, how do I get this working properly ?

Not just on editing or quoting . Comes up after ~30 seconds. Jusot asks me to accept the license agreement but there is nothing in the main part of the form. And quits out when I "Accept". TOTALLY UNUSABLE!
I'm resorting to reading PDF's with Preview!
    Am running MacOSX 10.9.3.
The other Adobe apps I installed (Photoshop, Premier) seem to work fine.
Common Adobe give me a solution, and just don;t tell me re-install I;ve tried that already!

  • Adobe software license agreement keeps popping up after installing CC 2014 apps

After updating to the 2014 apps, I cannot get any to open. The license agreement pops up and I click accept and it pops up again.
Anyone know how to fix this?

This is a wide scale error I think. We have been in the same boat. There many who are facing this. We have two on a team here who have lost two days of work because of it. We have called twice and they log in our macs check every thing (that was right already) and no one know what it is. And we keep getting answers like some one has to fix it on the "back end". There is no fixing on your end. you will need to call and get inline and get a case number and start waiting. I have been searching through the forums and there are many who are having the same errors under different names. I tell that was one question I wish the new reporter should have asked. So what happens if Adobe clouds fails or clichés will people be unable to work. Answer yes and the customers will lose more then just their rights to the programs they will locked out of the programs and lose work time.
    Our case number is 185638354

  • ITunes won't install after I click license agreement page

iTunes won't install after I click license agreement page

I had the same problem as many are having, I am running Win XP Pro and after installing the latest greatest version fresh no go, tried all the fixes mentiond around the net and no go all you get is the dam agree screen ... so I had enogh, I completly uninstalled the new version and then installed version 10 and it works fine so I think they droped the ball in the programing of the latest release thats my 2 cents. I am so glad i always keep older versions on hand because many times new versions are buggy or just do not work NOTE TO APPLE DO NOT FIX IT IF IT AINT BROKE comes to mind ... the older just work and the new junk fails don't they test the programs anymore? accross the dif supported platforms? whlth all these peole having the same problems I would say they botched the program code or installer.
It says after the install there is a newer version great after waisting all this time I will not be updating till they claime and prove they have a big prob and fix it and then test it compleatly.
Important my problem started on first installing Itunes ona newely set up XP comp so I had no settings or anything and did not care a full uninstall worked for me. Not sure with those that have tons of stuff allready in the iTunes system,
Complete working version 10.0.0.68 works fine in win XP Pro ...
