License agreement prompts after each use

I have iTunes 6.0.1 that I installed a while ago. Everytime I open it I have to agree to the license agreement. Everything works fine there after but I am getting tired of this. I have done a search on this but I only see results for windows users. Can anyone help?

Ok, I repaired the permissions and restarted the computer and that didn't work. Then I moved the preference files to the desktop and restarted and that didn't work. However I could not open the ByHost folder to move those preference files to the desktop. It says I don't have sufficient privileges. Do you know anyway around that?

How wipe ipad data after each use (like invited account on MacOs)?

Sorry, but assuming you mean that you want it to wipe automatically, that's not a feature of iOS (except the data wipe that can happen as a security feature after multiple incorrect passcode attempts). If you want to wipe an iPad, you have to do it manually.

  • Do I need to power off my iPad after each use?

I bought a new iPad. The problem is after each use I have to power off in Order to connect to internet. Is there something in settings I need to do in Order not to have to shut my iPAd off so often

That shouldn't happen. I almost never turn my iPad off unless I do so for troubleshooting purposes. There is nothing in the settings that you should have to "fix" either as long as WiFi is always turned on.
Try resetting your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • License agreement prompts each time users launch

We recently implemented Creative Cloud for teams and I am receiving complaints from my end users that they are continually prompted to accept the Adobe License Agreement each time they sign in and launch each and every product. They say they get them even after the initial sign in and acceptance, each time they launch the product. Is there a way to stop this annoyance? If we sign in and agree to the T/C's once, it should not repeat.

    Hi TLK12371,
I'm wondering if it is somehow related to limited user rights, Does the same thing occur when working in account with full local admin rights?

  • How to install eLearning Suite silently without the license agreement prompt

I was able to install the eLearning Suite 1.0 by following the guideline "How to install Captivate Silently".  I used the "setup --mode=silent --deploymentFile=install.xml" method, and that worked except one thing.  Adobe Air prompted for a License Agreement, and I also got a demo screen pop up.  How do I supress these two pop ups when using the silent mode setup?  I know how to do this for Captivate, but folder structures are different in eLearning Suite.
    Thanks.

    Bob,
Let me know if this summary is correct:
    1. If possible allways let Vista install apps in default directories.
    2. Adobe apps and their newer versions are by default installed in new directories (except for Acrobat). For example CS4 MC would be installed as a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. Another example, eLearning Suite 4 would be installed as a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. Therefore all settings in each newly installed application need to be set up. Does each application then have its own unique data directory structure?
    3. Since each Suite is a separate entity each license is seperate. This avoids cross license issues between different Suites.
    4. If a user allways wants the same (latest) version of an application to load then one must manually uninstall old versions in the other Suites.
For example, as a default install eLearning Suite 4 would be a completely seperate entity from CS 3 MC. The user would then delete the following older CS3 applications (as the newer versions are in eLearning Suite 4):
    Photoshop CS3 Extended
    Flash CS3 Professional
    Dreamweaver CS3
    Soundbooth CS3
Except for Acrobat as the default install would have updated the CS3 version.

  • Acrobat X automatically deselects Quick Tools after each use

After selecting & using a Quick Tool like line/arrow/etc, the selection is automatically dropped. It must then be clicked on again to re-use the same tool. Any ideas what might cause this. Granted, it's an annoyance, but having to click the same tool over and over again after use gets old fast.
    Thanks!

I don't know if Acrobat is the same way or not. but most programs that deal with Graphics when you single-click on a Tool it selects for the duration of that particular use. And if you want it to be remain selected you double-click in fast succession. click on it again just once, deselects it.

  • Sudden License Activation Prompt after another Adobe product install

    Greetings Adobe community,
I have an end user who has Adobe CS6 installed. This includes Acrobat, illustrator, indesign, bridge, and Photoshop. She has been using this suite for about a year
Just last week, we installed a licensed DreamWeaver 2014 from the Adobe Creative Cloud.  After a successful installation, the user gets a prompt whenever she opens Adobe Acrobat that requires her to re-enter the License.  Some reason, Adobe thinks her CS6 license is no longer working or legit after downloading DreamWeaver.  This is weird. After various reinstallations of Adobe CS6, the user ONLY gets that same prompt when she works in Acrobat for a couple of days. Any ideas guys?

    Hi srrober2,
Please run the Acrofix patch mentioned in the KB: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/acrobat-failed-launch-30-days.html
    Also check the KB: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/trial--1-launch.html

  • Recharge iPod nano 3G after each use, or wait until flat before recharging?

In order to optimise both the capacity of an iPod nano 3G battery (how long it lasts between charges) and its longevity (how long it will last before it has to be replaced) should the battery be charged up to full after every significant period of use (typically 2 hours playback in my case) or should charging not happen until the battery is flat or almost flat?
Also, does anyone have any thoughts on my other iPod nano 3G question, which is at:

  • Vmplayer closes after License agreement

    I've followed the steps here:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Vm … stallation
On running vmplayer it loads the license agreement but after accepting it, the console shows "aborted" and then it closes. This lack of error messaging is making it hard to search the forums for the answer.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well unfortunately without an actionable error messages I have nothing else specific to suggest.  You are welcome to try the general troubleshooting steps listed in Troubleshoot system errors, freezes | Windows | Adobe software - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-windows.html.
I would refer you to our support team to work directly with a technician but we no longer provide phone or chat support for installation difficulties with Creative Suite 4.

  • Can't read PDFs! "Accept User License Agreement"

Hi. I use a MacBook Air and I have always been able to read PDFs until now when I get the message "Before continuing, accpet user license agreement." I have tried reinstalling reader and following suggestions on other forum discussions but nothing seems to help. I really need to view PDFs! Thanks for your help!!

    Mac HD/Applications
Double click the Adobe Reader app and "accept" the license agreement.
You can use it after that.

  • NAL- Pause After Each App Is Delivered

Is there a way to pause/prompt after each NAL is delivered to the workstation? New to the environment and I am trying to determine exactly what NALs are being delivered during each user login. Although NALDIAG is useful it is not exactly what I want to use to identify the login NAL delivery process.
    Thanks,

  • Accept the End User License Agreement.  Where is this done?

I am trying to launch documents from the web and I get the following: Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement.  After launching the product, there is no option for doing this.  I have gone to my account and also find no option.  I am trying Acrobat Pro as part of the Creative Cloud.  Thanks.

Try running Acrobat on its own (not from within a browser window).
PS - This is the Adobe Reader forum, not the Acrobat forums.
