License expired despite downloading new version of WLS 6.1

Question

Trying to run the server for WLS 6.1 sp1 after downloading sp1. I had an
expired license prior to downloading and these still seems to be present
on my PC despite reinstalling everything.
My understanding is that BEA are happy for us to download the server
again when the evaluation license expires - is this the case?
How can I replace the old expired license with the newly downloaded one?

Guenter,
The license file for WebLogic Server 6.1 shuld have release="6.1">.
If you have a license that says Release="*", this is a WebLogic Server
6.0 license.

Save the license update file under a name other than license.bea in the
BEA home
directory.
Make sure that java (Java 2) is in your path. To add the JDK to your
path, enter

set PATH=.\jdk130\bin;%PATH% (Windows systems)
set PATH=./jdk130/bin:$PATH (UNIX systems)
In a command shell, enter the following command in the BEA home directory:
UpdateLicense license_update_file
where license_update_file is the name under which you saved the license

file that you received via email. Running this command updates the license.bea
file.
Save a copy of your license.bea file in a safe place outside the WebLogic
distribution.
Although no one else can use your license file, you should save this
information
in a place protected from either malicious or innocent tampering.
