my grandson took the battery out to shut down the laptop while it was upgrading, which now it won't even go to my start up, I get error message stating that the computer was shut down , error happen & I need to redownload windows or windows 7 repair disk, we have th windows 7 disk but the license key has worn off the bottom & I can't download the windows disk, I was tld if I hit f8 on my computer & bring up boot menu the serial number would be there & I can get my license key here with the serial number........is he fact or fiction? I am desperate!! I am on outdated toshiba with xp....help please!

I don't actually believe that this is an issue with hardware as I have tried external keyboards and my friend pressed S using teamviewer and it still muted me. I think the issue originated when I decided to install Ubuntu in front of the windows main partition moving the windows partition forward on the drive itself. Now I cannot create new recovery media because somehow that moving corrupted the recovery partitions. I also can't find recovery media on MSI's website for purchase, at this point I think that either installing a vanilla version of windows 8 and installing the drivers afterwards may be my best bet. I also considered buying the exact laptop again, creating recovery media from it, returning it and using the media on mine (I know how thrifty that sounds but I'm out of options). I could also try moving the windows partition back on the drive but I believe the damage is done and that could cause more issues or inability to boot.
Any other ideas out there?

usually when buying a laptop then if you didnt open box then you have 14 days rights to return it and have money back but if you broken the box and return it the store will mostlikely reject your return and say that you have opened the box so you will have to pay twice as much for both :/ so best bet is to send laptop to your store and they will send it off to MSI repair center or place that is certified by MSI to repair MSI laptops for them where they will then restore your drives back to factory layout so you can then run MSI BurnRecovery tool in windows to create own recovery USB or so
Thats why you shall allways create recovery USB 1st time you buy a laptop before you begin to use it since some just buys laptop and use it and later the hdd is corrupted or damaged and they have lost recovery chanse :/

For example:
Your SAP version?
Is it a system copy?
How exactly did you try to delete from SAP level?
Without this information, nobody here can do anything but guess.
There are a lot of SAP notes about similar problems.
But for this you will have to supply more information.
Or better; Search in SAP notes yourself!

For acs windows, there is no license key. You need to purchase the acs software.
During installation, it does not ask for any key.

Hi, Network Magic does not have built in Back-Up functionality, Windows XP Pro, Vista and 7 have backup functions built in and if you are using XP Home, you can install the backup program from the Windows Install Disc.

System11 batch loader license key

Hi all,
We are on System 11. When scheduling a batch we get a " Failed - 2620 - Batch loader license key is invalid - At line 28"
I was under the impression there are no license keys in System11.
Does anyone know what this error means? Ive had a look in the workbench but I cannot find an option to enter a license key.

Not sure about v11, but this same message appears when using 9.3.1 if the Checkbox available through the Administration >Application Settings > Batch Loader menu item is not been ticked.

1st the sata drive cannot be listed as a slave drive to the ide master [key word=ide-can be configured as master OR slave, master IF only 1 hd, master and slave IF 2 hds], on the sata controler you can have master and slave, the ide cable has two connectors for the hds, sata has only 1 hd connector.
are you wanting to install the sata as primary master and move the operating sys to that drive, if so you will need an IMAGING software to move an operating system OR you could do a fresh operating system install to the sata drive then install your programs.

Invalid License Key need help

I just installed kodo 3.0.1 using the windows installer, I also asked it to
install it in JBuilder9.
Then when I went into JBuilder I saw the Configure KODO JDO under tools
menu,
when I click on this selefction the dialog comes up OK
but when I try to close / OK this dialog I get an invliad license message.
One mistake I did was that I satarted JBuilder9 before I updated the
kodo.properties file.
I closed JBuiulder and then updated the properties file and tried Jbuyilder
again and got same invalid license message.
Can you tell me how to fix this ?

It wasn't clear from the documentation that I needed to do that. I am using
3.0.0 docs and maybe that was the problem.
Anyway I had added the license to the properties file and as you mentioned I
added it to the General Tab and that solved the problem . I didn't see any
project tabs.

Need license key

Recently during BIOS upgrade my Windows 8.1 installation for Aspire E5-411G-P717 notebook was damaged and recovery would not be allowed because the windows install partition was blocked. So, I resorted to the only known way to recover by using GPARTED to delete the partitions and doing a fresh Win8.1 reinstall. Windows 8.1 now asks me to update the license key but the computer never came with a sticker with a license key. So, I'd like Acer's help with this. I contacted Acer outlet at Amazon (the seller) for help but they don't keep any such information.
So, I'm stuck - I paid for the win8.1 x64 license when I purchased my computer but now I don't have the license key to register the windows with Microsoft and use it fully because some Win8.1 features are only available after it's registered.
How can Acer help? I'm sure I'm not the first customer with this issue given that Acer has had BIOS upgrade issues (I've been following the forums on Acer) and Acer does not provide Win8.1 license info on a sticker like it used to be.

No machine released with Windows 8 from vendor will come with a Windows 8 License sticker underneath, regardless of the brand. This is one of Microsoft's security measures to reduce piracy. This is a new Microsoft initiative. The Product key is electronically stored in the firmware of your mainboard. So if you need to reset or reinstall Windows 8, you don't need to hunt for the product key. It's automatically applied and activated. That's certainly a plus, especially when the numbers on those product key stickers wear out or are just too small to easily read. You need to get the recovery media and restore the same OEM version of windows shipped wiht your computer to activate windows without product key. You shouldn't need a license key if the app was purchased in AppWorld, the license key is part of the "purchase" and should recognize as a paid app.

You shouldn't need a serial number to run the free trial. See this screenshot of the type of thing should be looking for:
