License Model for Siebel CDI

Hello Team,
I have a question regarding the license model for a Siebel project of the following functionality:
1.- Opportunity Management
2.- CDI
My question is:
If I quote the Siebel Sales Base Functionality, Do I need to quote also the Customer Hub (B2B) or Is that functionality already included in the Siebel Sales Base Functionality?
I know that I have to quote also the Data Steward and Data Quality.

I want to add to Alex's question , Is it also possible that CHARM can be a common setup for a set of small/mid sized companies provisioned by a central Service provider based Solman and use authorization concepts and BP based restrictions to allow creation of RFCs / CDs only for the systems they are allowed to?

Any particular reason for OES2 when OES11SP2 is available?
You sould probably contact Novell sales or a partner to get the correct information regarding licensing.

You don't have to pay for Duet Enterprise twice. Duet Enterprise is a product developed jointly by MSFT and SAP, and both MSFT and SAP sell it. Duet Enterprise provides access to SAP data and processes from MSFT SharePoint 2010, so yes, naturally you need SharePoint licenses from MSFT. You already have SAP professional user licenses for the SAP backend access, so the only product you need to buy is Duet Enterprise for the number of SAP users you are planning to accomodate. As for the price, you can get a quote from your account executive.
If you want to provide access to SAP to additional users, you may consider buying Gateway licenses. Talk to your account executive about the cost effective options.

Oracle EBusiness Suite comes with its own Oracle database Enterprise Edition.
1) Can I use the same database to develop some internal applications (in a seperate schema) which will query (not Modify) data from EBusiness suite?
2) We are also planning to procure a thirdy party tool, which will work on Oracle as the database. Can I use the same EBusiness Database, to create another schema for this third party tool?

If you run DAC on a 64-bit windows Operating System, you must create the ODBC data source using the ODBC Administrator tool in %windir%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe. for creating the data warehouse tables.

We do not have a license requirement for BeehiveOnline as this is a service provided by oracle for Oracle customers, partners etc. to allow them to work more efficiently with Oracle. It is not a system that the customer can control as the groups are maintained by the Oracle,contact.
We rely on the normal terms and conditions that all users sign up to when they create an oracle.com website account.
So in short - it is a free-to-use service licensed under the same agreement as the normal oracle.com websites acount.

We are preparing a demo for Insurance Client but we are not sure which Siebel application will be the ideal for Insurance client. Please

You should not be looking at Siebel 7, but 8. There is a lot of new functionality in Siebel 8 when it comes to Insurance.

Is the OPA connector for Siebel OS independent?

Are there different versions of OPA connector for Siebel depending on the Operating System? Or is it OS independent?
In the installation guide it is mentioned that the system requirements are checked with the CRM base only.
In e-delivery the connector for Siebel is present in the Windows section only.

* To install the OPA Connector for Siebel you will need to run Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Client from a Windows machine (32 or 64)
* To author interviews you need to run Oracle Policy Modeling on a Windows machine (32 or 64).

Questions about Adobe AIR and FLV license model

I'm currently looking for a game development framework which I can use for a fan-project in my spare time and also for commercial projects for the company I'm working for.
I think that the Citrus Engine which is open source and based on Apache Flex/Adobe AIR/Starling/Away3D/Box2d/Nate might be a good choice.
But I'm really confused about the license model of Adobe AIR and its runtime distribution.
Do I have to pay a license fee or royalties for my games (which include the AIR runtime in order to be stand-alone-apps) when I publish them?
If so, how much are these license fees/royalties?
Does this also concern free apps?
What is the name of the license which I would have to request from Adobe in order to publish my games?
Do I need several licenses when publishing an app on multiple AppStores (Apple/Google/Amzaon) or desktop distribution platforms (Steam/GOG)?
Are there further licensing obstacles which I have to keep in mind when using Flex/AIR for (commercial) game development?
By the way - the FAQ on the product page (http://www.adobe.com/products/air/faq.html) isn't really helping on this topic:
"How much does Adobe AIR cost?" -> "The Adobe AIR runtime and AIR SDK are free for most users."
This answer leaves me with the question: Am I belonging to the "most users" or not?
Therefore it isn't meaningful at all.
I'm also thinking about adding short video sequences as FLVs to the games.
If I understood correctly H.264 and MP3 are currently used as a standard for these video files but aren't free.
Is there a free alternative available for FLVs which can be used in combination with Adobe AIR?
Or did I get something wrong here and don't need to worry about getting sued when using these formats?

Golden gate Licensing model

We are planing to replciate the data using Golden Gate for that we need help in understanding the licensing model of Golden gate.
Licensing model required for below setup
1 Production server with 2*6 cpus and standby having 1*6 cpus. target server 1*6 CPU . Planing install GG in standby server
My questions are:
1) Should I buy License for production DB or it enough if i get the license for the standby ( Where we going to implement GG )
GG License =PROD DB +TARGET DB
OR
GG License = STANDBY DB + TARGET DB
2) Is there any model .Please let us know.

As a general rule, you license both the source system (where the source database resides) and the target system (where the target database resides). But for all licensing questions, you need to work with your Oracle Sales rep for GoldenGate. Do you know who that is - do you need help determining who to contact to help you with your question?

I downloaded the JRC sdk (com.businessobjects.sdks_.jrc_.11.8.0_11.8.5.v1197.zip) from www.sdn.sap.com. The website states that the JRC SDK is 100% free. However I can't find license agreement for it. Is there an official license agreement for JRC sdk? Where can I find it?

-The JRC SDK's make use of a concurrent processing license (CPL) model.
-Each component is set to three CPLs per process, meaning each component allows a maximum of three actions to be processed concurrently.
-Additional requests are queued until one of the three requests inside the engine completes.
-So as far as JRC SDK is concerned, maximum license count that is available is Three.

What will the license model be for this (e.g. If I want to use Workshop 10.1 for a Struts Web Project will I need a Workshop Studio for Struts license, about $400, for this?)

The license model is simple: Workshop for WebLogic 10.1 will be free for weblogic customers, and the Workshop Studio 10.1 will have a license fee. The only difference between the two is that the Studio product will run on multiple server platforms (eg. websphere, jBoss, Tomcat, etc.)

I would like to know if anyone here has a good handle on how BOE licensing works. We are in touch with the BO Account Rep, but also wanted to check here if anyone knew.
We are in the process of converting our existing NUL to CPU-based. Anyone who is a customer with CPU-based license model or SAP folks, can you please confirm if the following points that I understand are true --
a) Web Servers are not counted towards BOE licenses.
b) The calculation of CPUs for multi (dual/quad) core machines is done as: 1 CPU license counted for 1st
CPU, 0.5 CPU license counted for every subsequent CPU on a server.
