License type: Limited Financial User

Has anybody successfully applied for and received license keys for the new license type 'Limited Financial User'? I've tried twice and I keep getting back Pro Users instead, along with a scolding that I am exceding my contractual licenses.

Limited Financial User licenses are only good for two weeks

I have repeatedly requested a license for a client who, according to their contractual info, both in my records and on the SAP B1 Portal 'Contractual Information' link, has
3 Professional Users and 3 Limited Financial Users.
Every time I get a license it is for 6 Professional Users, and it expires in 2 weeks because, so it says, I have exceeded my contractual license limitations.
I have been working with SAP Support but so far I do not have a fix. With Support, we have repeatedly deleted all previous systems for the client (both as Partner and as Customer S number), created one and only one new system, and submitted the request for 3 Professional Users and 3 Limited Financial Users.
And it still comes back with 6 Pros that expire in 2 weeks. I know that for now a Pro User is substituted 1 for 1 for the new limited license types, but why can't I get a permanent vs. a temporary 2 week license?
Please do not write and tell me how to delete a system or how to apply for a license, etc. I know how to do those things and I have walked through the entire process with SAP Support with me via Webex, and we don't get a permanent license. I just want to know if anybody has successfully got a standard license for the new limited types so I know that the process actually works. (Based on my experience, I don't think the Portal can handle the new license types. ) Then maybe Support and I can focus on a flaw in the contractual info as stored on the site, etc. as the source of my problem.

This is not a normal case. I have a lots of clients who are using limited license and their license are not expired .
Might be something happening with SAP recently because I haven't requested any license recently .
I had faced this issue one time when I didn't realise the date of expiration while ordering SAP license but I made correction and import it next time and it worked for me fine .
I am not sure how can i be of help but this certainly bring my attention and would definely like to know the solution

User Type 53 is:
53 mySAP Limited Prof. (Cat III) mySAP Business Suite Limited Professional (Cat III)
Check whether the active user types for both the user ids in these two systems are in sync or not. Also make sure that there is no wrong value is set in SU01 for the user id. Both system should contain same settings for company specific settings.. like ... Company address, Decimal Notation of users, Time Zone of user, License type etc. etc. ...
Check these things and let us know what you got.

Limited Financial User and Document Draft?

Hello,
I noticed that Limited Financial User for 8.81 has no acces to draft documents. Other user types have acces without problem (even limited logistic).
Do someone know, if this is behaviour or bug in SBO?
I found only one note related to 8.8 and there it was program error, but no note or message to 8.81.

In 8.8. it is bug which is corrected in PL15, but I asked for 8.81.
Meanwhile I find out in discussion with SAP that it seems to be a bug in 8.81 and Limited Financial User, but it seems that Im first who reported this. Hope it will be solved soon.
If someone has experience with this and reported it already, let me know.

8.8 Limited Financial User - missing functionality .... COPY TO

Similar to the referenced issue below, a limited financial user cannot use the 'copy to' feature from a AP Purchase Order to an AP Invoice; it is simply grayed out. We are on version 8.8 (8.80.230) SP:00 PL:12.
Unfortunately, there are no 'price list' authorization issues, as suggested by this question and answer:

We are also facing the same problem even after using the 'Copy From' functionality. But ita seems work for the intial stage for some 10 days, soon after not able to create A/P Invoice based on 'GRPO'.

Report generation for users having specific license type

Hi friends,
For my project purpose i have to generate report which has userId,License type of the user,corresponding composite role and single roles assigned to the user and transaction code.
I can get the report for user and license type from USR06 and roles,transaction from SUIM.
But I need a combined report of this. Is there any transaction code which helps me in doing this.Please let me know.

1. Table: AGR_USERS, AGR_TCODES / USR08

1. As mentioned by Saby: use TCode SQV1 to map all the tables with a meaningful "foreign key".
2. Download all Table contents and map them in excel by using functions.

General Settings not accessabel for Financial user

Experts,
I have a client who created a Limited Financial user and assigned this license to that User. The authorizations is also set to Full at General Settings.
But we get an error when that user wants to open the General Settings window in Administration. I tested this and gave this user Full authorization to everything and still get this error.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the paths in the General Settings need to be set per user, how can any user not have access to this? This Financial user cannot modify the paths to the Word or Excel folders.

License type change in ECC PRD

Currently all user id is being created in ECC system through HR trigger and default license type is mySAP ERP ESS User. but i want to create deterrent request type to up update license type from mySAP ERP ECC User to mySAP ESS Processional.

Run transaction USMM in ECC. In there you set the default user type (license type).
The user types that show up or can be defined depends on the Price List selected.

Unable to print or print preview with limited financial license

Hello Friends,
I am working with a rev 9 Business One client who has a limited financial license. He connects to B1 through RDP. When he attempts to print or print preview he gets the message "You are not permitted to perform this action." and the button "Authorize by another user". Which we can do to print (example, the A/R Aging report).
I have searched the Authorizations and found nothing related to printing.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Limited Financials User License

While this user can create recurring postings, and can post the same documents, they are unable to set the flag in general settings to trigger the reminders when these recurring postings need to be posted.
This is a pest at implementation, as the user needs to be assigned a professional license, then update the flag, then have the license changed back.
Is it possible to allow some general settings for some users?
It would also be good to allow all users to be able to set their own background, or have the ability to set this as global from a corporate branding perpective.

I am afraid that it is a bugs in the B1 8.8 SP00 PL15.
According to [SAP patch delivery schedule|https://websmp109.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700002863602005E], the next release patch level for B18.8 SP00 is patch level 16. It will be released on week Oct 25-29, 2010.
Have you tried to test using professional user license ? if it is success to open the report, it means that the limited licenses bug still exists in B18.8 SP00. This problem also exists in B1 8.8 PL12 and belows.
Temporarily, if you need it so much, just request the temporary license that valid only for 14 days. It must be extended after expired. All of licenses type in the temporary license are professional users.

User License type, registration info

Hi, last year I bought Snow Leopard for my MacBook Pro, and I want to find out which type of license I have for Snow Leopard, because my wife now has a Macbook which is still on 10.5.
I can't figure out how to look up my registered products on the Apple site (I have an Apple ID), and there is nothing on the Snow Leopard install DVD (or packaging) that indicates what type of license I bought (and unfortunately I didn't keep a record of it, which I usually do).
Can anyone tell me a) how to access my registered product info on the Apple site; and b) is there any way to figure out what type of license I have for Snow Leopard?

The only licenses available are single-user and family pack (5-user). If it's five-user, it should say it on the box.
There are no explicit licensing restrictions.

User license type

we are on GRAC 10.1 SP6. Created custom field for user license type for both request form and role attribute, both appear. Also followed the SAP note 1736817 for mapping. Maintained mapping for connector group, assign group field mapping. custom field is mapped to system field name LIC_TYPE, table name IS_UCLASS. The field is available for edit on the request, but when submitted, the value does not populate on the target system. Also would like to have drop-down using ACTIVE field in table TUTYPA. If anyone has successfully done either of these, please respond.

Wanted to know allocated licenses to the existing user

I wanted to know that which license type is being allocated to which user(s) say for example i have allocated Limited financial license type to user X,Y,Z and accordingly to the other so how can i get the list of such type so that i can reshuffle the licenses to the users.
Please provide me with the solution in SAP B1 9.0 or if it can be achieved through query then please provide me the same

License issue - Limited Financials

A user with a limited financial license is able to create and manage recurring p;ostings, but is unable to set the system to remind them of postings requried on log on?
This means we have to assign them a full license in order to do this step, then take it off again
