Licenses for current MatrixX users

As a user of MatrixX I have some questions?
* Who do I contact for support issues?
* When will it be possible to get licenses etc. (Mathworks have just dropped this, to my frustration)?
* What will happen with MatrixX, are there any offical plans?

I purchased a ebook on B and N and saved to my PC. I added this ebook to the library in Adobe Digital Editions and it is displayes. Whena I click on it to open I receive the error message"Document is licensed for a different user account". Please let me know what to do?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
In order to fix this you need to contact B&N support and ask them to reset download link of the books and then download same book once again.

  • ADE error: "Document is licensed for a different user account"

My ADE worked great for months. All of a sudden it will not let me add books to it's library. When I try to add a book (Epub w/DRM) it tells me "Document is licensed for a different user account." What changed? What is my problem?

You're going to have to answer the question yourself, unfortunately.  I can
explain what the message means, but I can't do the detective work to see
    what happened in the past.
This message is generated when the information attached to the
document/ebook shows that "User A" downloaded it to his/her copy of Digital
Editions is different from what's in place at this time.  There are a number
of things that could have happened, but right now, "User B" is trying to
    download that document/ebook.
There's no easy fix - especially if the document/ebook is DRM-protected, as
many of the ones we buy are.  Once you find out who did what, then you could
contact the source and see if they'll work with you to get another copy
downloaded to your copy of Digital Editions.

  • Document is licensed for a different user account - After Registering

I get the above message after downloading my eBooks directly to Adobe Digital editions. To start with I did not register the Adobe software to my AdobeID and could read the eBooks but after registering the Adobe software the eBooks are now unreadable and the message 'Document is licensed for a different user account' appears. I'm quite tech savvy but this is very frustrating after having spent £32 on books that I cannot now read legitimately!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!? Thank you!

I've logged into Adobe with my new password but now ADE says ''No permission to copy document here''

  • Use Powershell to bulk activate office 365 Education E1 Students license for 900 synced users

    Hi,
We have synced 900 users and we need to active "Office 365 Education E1 for Students" (STANDARDWOFFPACK_STUDENT)  license for them using the powershell.
With the following command I am able to activate one user at a time; Is there anyway to do it to bulk users ?
Set-MsolUserLicense -UserPrincipalName [email protected] -AddLicenses "teamxxx:STANDARDWOFFPACK_STUDENT"
And also with the "Office 365 Education E1 for Students" activation I only want "Office Online for Education" to be activated but not "Lync Online", "Sharepoint" and "Exchange Online".
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

    You have to get instructions from them on which keys are to be activated.  YOuo need to activate each product.  YOu are only activating the base product.  Lync and Visio are optional licenses.  It is not a PowerShell issue;
Notice this parmeters is plural for a reason:
    -AddLicenses
    "teamxxx:STANDARDWOFFPACK_STUDENT"
You can put an array of licenses.  STANDARD is just the base office product.  Ask themfor the license strings for the other or look at them online.
    See this:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/educloud/archive/2014/02/05/what-are-my-sku-names-for-office-365-education-and-how-can-i-automate-the-licensing.aspx
Exchange is part of Office365.  I don't see how you can not have it.  Youc can control which products are downloadable.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS and Document is licensed for a different user account

Thus far Adobe Digital Editions is the most complicated software to use in the universe- and I feel it may be the downfall of the entire E READER's existence.
    Here's why:
1.) I created an account with adobe digital editions.
2.) I purchased ebooks from Barnes and Nobles. com. These books are in EPUB format.
3.) I downloaded said books from Barnes and Nobles .com to my PC. (windows XP)
4.) I tried to open said files with ADE to transfer on my EREADER. No luck. I receive an error message stating that these files  are " Licensed under a different user account." Then I get the error "Too many activations)
How are they licensed under a different user account?! I am the only user. Can someone please help me? I just want to move these two EPUB files into Adobe Digital Editions so that I may put them on my COOL-ER Reader.

    Hello Wjcawley,
For the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS, I recommend creating a webcase. They have the option to reset your activations for this.
Concerning the error that it is already licensed to another user, make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your COOL-ER reader. As some have been shipped with incorrectly configured firmware.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind regards,
    SyncWolf

  • IWork Licensing -Is Retail License for a single user or multiple users

I have a a Retail Version of iWork '08. How do I determine if this is for a single user or multiple users?
    Thank you

So the next question is can I "unregister" this from my iMac thus allowing me to either reistall it on another machine or perhaps sell it?
Yes, you can. Apple doesn't "track" serial numbers, but you are doing the right thing by removing iWork '08 & it's registration. The file that keeps the serial number is the com.apple.iWork08.plist found in HD > Library > Preferences. This is the Library on the first level of your HD, not your user Library.

  • Document is licensed for a different user account

I have read your documentation and didn't see a solution for us, we have 2 nooks and only one computer, how can Adobe digital Editions keep these separate?
    Thanks.

"...and when it's complete, use Windows 'Safely Remove Hardware' function (the little
icon on the right hand side of the Start bar at the bottom of the screen) to
    eject the Nook."
In Windows/XP, I found that the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the Start bar (Task Bar) did nothing.  My Nook continued to display "USB mode."  Only when I used the "eject" function did the Nook come out of USB mode.  (By "eject" I mean locating the Nook drive in the Windows file management interface --e.g., My Computer, right-clicking the drive, and selecting the "Eject" option.)  Why this should be I don't know, but I found a sentence in the Nook User Guide that explicitly warns everyone to use the "Eject" function and not the "Safely Remove" function to disconnect.  Further, it says if you have installed the microSD card, it will show up as an additional "drive," and you have to use "Eject" for both.
I also use "Safely Remove" just for good measure, but only after the "Eject"(s).

  • Volume Licensing For Multiple Computers + Users

I need to know how many licenses I would need for 25 people working in a design firm. I know that purchasing a physical copy means it can be used on two computers, but not a the same time.
Would you need one of these licenses:
    http://volumelicensing.adobe.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayProductDetai lsPage&SiteID=adbevlus&Locale=en_US&ThemeID=1252500&Env=BASE&productID=108113400
for one designer? So would you need to purchase 25 individual licenses?
    Thanks

Oh additionally, if a new version of it came out (CS5) would the licenses from the previous versions still apply, or would they have to be re-purchased.

  • Licensing for computers - not user specific?

We have a lot of freelancers that work on our projects in our editing suites.
We have purchased enough CC Cloud licenses to cover each physical computer.
Since we have more editors than computers it is not ideal to bind a license to specific people.
Is there a way to bind the licenses to each computer, or install the licenses as a "first come - first serve" on a floating license server or something?
    All help is appreciated.

Ask about a DEVICE license instead of an Adobe ID license

  • If a license user of ADOBE Acrobat XI has a license for a desktop, can he put it on his laptop?

We are at a university and we have a license for a desktop user, can we use the same license for his laptop as well?

Thank you soo much!  I was tempted to delete one thinking it was actually a 2nd version taking up lots of unnecessary space.

  • Execute Webdynpro4Abap Application with same ERP-User for all portal-users?

    Hi,
is it possible to let a Webdynpro4Abap application run with only one ERP-User for all portal-users? Therefore not needing an ERP-license for every portal-user?
    Somekind of mapping maybe?
    Regards
    Jan

    Jan,
It is possible but it all depends on the type of application .If you want to show same data for all users you can use one user but if data is different for all users then you cannot go with this approach.
to configure single backend user for your application go to tcode SICF and look for that application and go to logon data tab by double clicking and give one common user details
    Thanks
