Licensing a two copy download, Buying from a 3rd Party Vendor

I'm shopping for Acrobat XI pro.
When a license is specified as "2 copy max", may I distribute to my out-of-town business partner.  If so both copies should still be in my name?
Has anybody had trouble buying from a discount 3rd party vendor and getting Adobe support?  I'm assuming Amazon is a pretty good vendor filter?
Has anyone found a vendor that sells "backup disc included"?
Thanx, thanx, thanx - simple questions,
Bob

  • Anyconnect Getting certificate from trusted 3rd party vendor

    Hi everyone,
I have configured the Anyconnect in network.
Now i need to get cert from 3rd party vendor so that when users login they should not get warning that this network is untrusted.
Need to know what info i need to get from ASA so that i can get the SSL cert from the vendor?
Also need to know if i can enable user authentication based on this cert also?
Currently auth is done via radius?
    Regards
    Mahesh

Each issuer's requirements vary but you generally need to submit a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) to the issuing Certificate Authority (CA). They will sign and issue a certificate for your ASA and email it back to you (or send you a link to download). You'll then have a certificate (file) to install on your ASA.
See the link here for some more details on installing and using the certificate.

  • Can I purchase Robohelp v8 from Adobe or from any 3rd party vendor?

I specifically need a license for v8, not an upgrade.
If the purchase is not available from Adobe, then which vendor?
(I thought pierrebuies may have been asking this question as well....)
    thank you for your help

You can download the s/w from the link below but you'll need a licence key to access anything other than the trial:
    http://technolux.blogspot.co.nz/2011/02/adobe-direct-download-links-less-akamai.html
Failing that you can try Adobe Support. They will try to get you to upgrade mind as RH8 is four versions old now.

  • Buy from and Pay to vendor Information

    Hi All,
I am trying to findout "Buy from" and "Pay To" vendor information from SAP table. Actually the client does not enter "pay to vendor" in vendor master data of the "Buy from" vendor as a partner. So in vendor master data of the "buy from" vendor I am not able to find the "Pay to" vendor information. But the client performs invoice verification against a vendor which is not the "buy from" vendor. I can do this by going to PO history and see against which vendor MIRO has been done. But when I am dealing with lot of data, it is difficult to do one by one. Can any body help me how to fetch this data in SAP table?

    Hi all.
Forgive my ignorance, but if i do a clean install of leopard, how does it know what machine I am using. From what i see, the install disks that come with my laptops/imacs/mac pro all have a different 'disk 1' and the same 'disk 2' I assume on disk 1 is all the hardware specific things.. and disk 2 is generic.
Am i thinking too 'windows' and that the install is intelligent to know what the machine is, and then install the relevant applications/shortcuts/keyboards etc?
Is it better to do a clean install rather than an upgrade? Or am i thinking too 'windows' again?
    Cheers!

  • Hi, I D/L'd FF 23 but inadvertantly D/L'd it from a 3rd party, dalesearch took over FF I have stripped it out and run my malware how can I get rid of it.Thanks

I downloaded FF 23 but inadvertantly from a 3rd party, FF was taken over by something called Dalesearch which apparently is malware, I stripped FF23 out ran my anti malware programme and re downloaded FF23 from the Mozilla site, everything works now but Dalesearch is permanently in my search window but not active. I can overwrite it and all is ok. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this completely as it is a bit worrying. I can find my way around a computer but am not an expert so please no complicated answers.

  • I would like to know if I can have FCP maker names be the same as what appears in field, master comment 1. I am importing these makers from a 3rd party system

Hello, I am importing logs from from a 3rd party system. They come in as markers into FCP. The log comments come in under master comment 1. Is there a way to re-map this so master comment 1 appears where the maker type is shown.

That's like the 00-th post that asks for the same thing: digital connection of the Creative soundcard to a receiver.
Yes, you can connect the card via a jack situated on the back of the card - you just need a cable with stereo minijack and RCA. All the older Creative cards (since Li've!) have that SPDIF output on the back, on the form of a mini-jack. It is labeled as "digital".
The ONLY problem is that you will be able to send surround sound via SPDIF only if it is encoded DD or DTS on a DVD-ROM. The card itself will not encode surround sound CREATED in the PC. So, games, mp3's, CD's all will be stereo PCM. I guess that your old MoBo SPDIF was in the same situation (except for a SoundStorm integrated from nVidia that does DD 5. encoding on the fly). If you don't care about gaming performance, Turtle Beach make a card that does DolbyDigital encoding on-the-fly - they are calling this Dolby Digital Li've.
About mikes: one mike input is existing on the back of the card, and another one on the expansion bay (if you have platinum version). both of them will take only a el-cheapo (electret/condenser mike), not a proffesional one.

  • Hi: My wife has mail sent from a 3rd party email account. When she attempts to trash these emails 2 things happen. The message goes in the trash and an error message happens..Trash-home email. Operation could not complete. File exists.

Thanks in adavnce for any help you can offer to solve the above issue with Mac mail on my wifes' MacBook.

    Hi:
I should also mention thatthe issue is with Mac Mail, which is where the messages are being forwarded to from the 3rd party email account.,......sorry for any confusion.
This is a problem that cropped up recently, i.e., previous to the past couple of weeks, she had no issues with trashing email.

  • Transferring songs from a 3rd party to my ipod

Hi. I would like to transfer my songs from a 3rd party, such as a CD, to my iPod and I don't know how to do that. If anyone knows how to do this, your help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks. Denise

Thank you for your reply. Maybe my question was unclear. There are songs IN the iTunes library that are 3rd party songs, such as those that were dowonloaded from a CD. I can see them on the left side when his iPod is on the computer screen. However, since my computer had to be completely cleared of everything, iTunes could not transfer the 3rd party songs per some protocol they have with Apple. They told me there is a way to transfer 3rd party songs from the iTunes library back onto the iPod. That is my question. I hope that is more clear. Denise

  • How can I copy downloaded CD from one PC to another

i'm trying to copy music purchased from iTunes on my PC to my wife's PC,  also the burn a disc on her PC as mine is not working. Is there some sort of copy protection on download music from iTunes?

    Hi George,
Wayne found the Spinning Beachball of Death, and you will find it too.
Numbers is not good at handling large datasets. Might I suggest that you group your data into smaller sets (each month, perhaps?) and save each group in a separate Numbers document. Numbers will not link between documents, but you could have a summary Table within each document. Then comes the "clunky" bit of copying all those summary tables into a master document where you do the final processing of the data.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • Should I buy a new battery from a third party vendor?

    Hello,
I am totally new to this portion of support and to the world of laptops so please bear with me for a moment. I don't think I need a new battery yet but I did some research on-line and the general consensus seems to be that Apple and batteries don't mix. Should I go with a 3rd party battery? I want to have a spare in case I need it.
Thank you in advance for your advice.

If you don't need a spare battery now, there is little reason to get one. LiIon batteries deteriorate a small amount whether you use it or not, so the common wisdom goes. You can buy replacements online overnight if you have no store nearby, so I see little reason to have spares on hand unless absolutely critical. I would have no problem with Apple or Newertech Nupower batteries myself, but even they can go bad at variable times. A 6 month (Apple, I think) or 1 year warranty (Newertech) is about all you can expect. I would question others, especially ones that are too cheap. Counterfeits are very easy to make.

  • Open a form from a 3rd party Java/Web based application

    Hi All,
I am working for a client who has a 3rd party web application built in Java.
For one of his requirements, he wants to open a form, an apps standard form on the click of a button/url in their application.
This appears like a normal form opening from the single-signon screen where you have the self service single sign-on page, it opens the apps forms on click of the url. Can we use the same logic here? This being the case, just curious to know how is the url to open the form built? (I see that the function name, resp id etc are there in the url) So that, I can actually manipulate the url to open the forms from a url. Please see that the custom application also is included into our Oracle apps, so the user is already logged in. We just need to open the form from the click of a url/button.
    Thanks,
    Srini.
    Thanks,
    Srini.

If the ICX_SESSION is already available then the form(I am assuming you are refering to a web based form here) should open directly if the function should be accessible to the user logged in. When you say your custom application is included in Oracle apps are you launching these pages from the Ebiz home page through menus and functions ?

  • Outlook 2007 - Outgoing mail server from a 3rd party

I tried to set up the outgoing mail server for my Outlook 2007 with a 3rd party mail server. e.g. mail.xxxx.com, and I could not send the e-mail at all. If I set up the  outgoing mail server as outgoing.verizon.net, I can send the email to everyone else but not to this 3rd party mail server mail.xxxx.com. I received the undeliverable message from Verizon that the mail was rejected due to not being able to log on to this 3r party mail server. I am working for this company from home and it requires me to set up this for my outgoing mail server. Does anyone know how to fix this, including specifying what needs to be done at the 3rd party mail server to change to accept emails sent from outgoing.verizon.net? Thank you in advance. Andy

Port 25 is the standard for SMTP, although some now use a submission port, 587. I know port 25 off network is blocked for residential users, I don't know if 587 is blocked off network because I have never tried it. I suspect it is. Verizon is by no means the only ISP to do this.
Business accounts do not have blocked ports as far as I know, so if you have a business account, you are free to communicate using port 25 anywhere.
Verizon has recently gone to non-standard port assignments for SMTP and POP servers. see

  • Partner Profile type : Receiving Data from an 3rd party sys & Posting IDoc

    Hi all,
My scenario is Receiving Data from a third party system and sending it to a R3 system as an IDoc...
    It is a B2B scenario.....
So please tell me what should be my Scheme for the indentifier that i will be mentioning in the sender party...
Should it be ALE#KU or ALE#LS.........
it is working fine with ALE#KU...i m getting an error if i define it as ALE#LS......
Is there an extra setting that should be done for configuring it as ALE#LS or , it is not possible configuring using ALE#LS
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sushil H.

    Hi Sushil,
I have a similar problem and opened a thread: Unable to convert the sender service ABC_Service to an ALE logical system
i was able to do it without specifying any identifier ...and mapping the sender information in the message mapping,,,,
    Can you please tell me:
    1) What value you specified in the mapping for sender (was it 3rd party/ PI/ R3)? Did you disable the other fields like RCVPRN/ RCVPOR etc?
    2) Did you make any change in the receiver channel for IDOC (in identifier section)?
It will be very helpful to me if you reply.
    Thank you,

  • Initiate MeetMe conference from a 3rd party phone

    Hello all,
We have integrated a 3 party SIP phones with CCM 7.1.5. Only 3 party SIP phones and we need use conferences.
We must initiate the meetme conference from any of these phones. How can we do this?
How can we use the MeetMe Service URI : x-cisco-serviceuri-meetme in a 3 party SIP phones?
    Regards,

    Hi Wayne,
It appears that this option is not available natively for 3rd party SIP phones in CUCM yet. Meetme conference can only be initiated through the use of Meetme softkey or Programmable Line Keys (PLKs).

  • What happens when you buy from a third party vender

I am wondering what happens when you buy a macbook form a third party vender. In my case it is amazon.com. I am reading about people returning their macbook's to apple for a refund due to the high pitched whine everyone is talking about. My understanding is that we can still send them to apple to get fixed for the noise, but even if they can't fix it we still can't get a refund right? If I try to return it to Amazon as a defective product who decides if it is? Apple or Amazon?
    Kalel

Amazon's return policy on computers doesn't exclude any brands, so I'd say that you could return it. Here's a link to it if you'd like to read it:
