Licensing stopped working error- 150:30
Had to replace the hard drive on my iMac. I use Time Capsule and when the new hard drive was installed had Time Capsule bring all my applications and files back. It seems to be working with all other files and apps.
But when I tried to use Photoshop CS 4 I received error message suggesting I restart the MAC which I did. Then got the same error message when I tried to open Photoshop. It said if restarting doesn't work go to Adobe.
As stated above the error message number is 150:30
had Time Capsule bring all my applications and files back
Forget it. Reinstall the apps properly. Downloads can be found using this method:
Direct Download Links for Adobe Software
And you will have to run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool before reinstalling.

How to fix "Licensing for this product has stopped working - Error 150:30"?
I cannot pen PSE or Bridge. It get the message "Licensing for this product has stopped working - Error 150:30".
I assume it is because I recently upgraded my Mac to Yosemite.
What do I need to do to be able to open PSE again?
Thank you.Thank you. I appreciate your tips. I tried solution 5 and it doesn't work.
The rest is essentially gibberish to a basic user like myself. I have
neither the expertise nor the confidence to go into these folders and start
mucking around in there. Can I please have someone call me and guide
through the necessary steps. My number is 06 46 40 94 39 (Location: France).
Cheers.

What does "licensing for this product has stopped working, Error 150:30" indicte?
My CS4 has stopped working. I get the message..." licensing for this product has stopped working, Error 150:30" After taking all the steps listed and uninstalling CS4 and Reinstalling it I finally got it working again ( which took a couple of hours of down time) Now ...every time I turn my computer off and back on, I get the same message again, and must go thru the 2 hours "fix"... any suggestions. Adobe Support has been less than helpful with this... which is unusual.
PhotodebPhotoDeb, I have the same problem with my CS4 suite. I get the 150:30 error, "licensing has stopped working."
Fortunately, I'm subscribed to CC, so I can still open all CS4 files with CC apps.
BUT, I DO want to get my CS4 working again.
Have you been successful yet, in getting your CS4 back to working as it should?
I tried downloading the "License Repair Tool" [www.adobe.com/support/contact/licensing.html] file from Adobe, but it didn't work.
I have read that if it is downloaded with Safari (as I did), it won't work; that it has to be downloaded with Chrome or a browser other than Safari.
Also, I deleted the FLEXnet Publisher preferences folder. But, I now wish I had simply moved it to the Desktop, instead of trashing it entirely.
So far, I haven't done anything about reinstalling CS4.
QUESTION: From what you've learned, is it recommended to UNinstall CS4 suite (like you did) BEFORE reinstalling it? -
Hello, my copy of Dreamweaver CS4 stopped working, a message appears stating "Licensing for this product stopped working" error 150:30. I have a license I bought from Adobe directly, and which has always worked fine. Any hints?

I have just bought a new iMac and used the Migration Assistant to transfer all my existing programs from my old computer.
When I try to launch my copy of InDesign CS4, I get the error message:
Licensing for this product has stopped working
Error 150:30
Because new iMacs do not have disk drives, I cannot reinstall using my original DVD disks.
Adobe’s online support team have said they are unable to help.
The Licensing Repair application does not work in Yosemite
Does anyone have any suggestions?
With many thanks
GregDownload CS4 products
And fix the permissions on the relevant Library folders. The rest is between you and your Mac - as far as Adobe are concerned, CS4 is officially not compatible with Yoesemite.

Photoshop Elements 7 licensing stopped working? (150:30)
I just got a new hard drive and restored it with the data that was backed up from my old hard drive. Now Photoshop Elements 7 says that the licnesing has stopped working (error 150:30). I don't have the original disk because I got it many years ago. Can someone help me to fix this it's urgent because I need to finish a project. Thanks
I told gatekeeper that it's okay.
I'm following these steps but I don't know where to locate the flexnet publisher folder and when I type sudo python on my terminal I get this error
/usr/bin/python: can't find '__main__' module in '/Volumes/LicenseRecovery 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery'
Solution 2: Run the License Repair Tool
Close all Adobe applications.
On your startup disk, locate and delete the following folder:
[hard drive]/Library/Application Support/FlexNet Publisher/
Important: The path above points to the Library folder at the root of your startup disk, not the Library folder in your user home folder.
Enter your password if asked to authenticate the folder deletion.
Download the Adobe Licensing Repair Tool.
Run the License Service Update.
Mac OS X 10.7

b. Double-click your Hard Drive.

f. Type “sudo python “Note: There is a space following “python”. Do not press Return.
g. Drag LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app from the LicenseRecovery111.dmg window onto the Terminal Window and press Return. Note: Make sure that the Terminal window has the command and the path to the APP file. For example: "sudo python /Volumes/LicenseRecovery\ 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecover.py”
h. Enter your administrator user name and password when prompted and click OK.
i. Follow the onscreen instructions. -

"License stopped working" Error Code 150:30 -- PS CS4 on OS X Yosemite
Have both PS CS4 and CD6 on Mac OS X 7.5. Just upgraded to Yosemite. Now PS4 "license stopped working". Only have PS4 upgrade disks because I originally bought PS ages ago and only bought upgrades since. Need to work at least long enough for me to get my custom brushes/patterns, but I would like it to work regularly to use Mustek TWAIN (32 bit)@scanner.
Simply reinstall. Using the downloaded versions might get you by any disk issues.

I'm trying to migrate my CS4 from my old Mac to my new one. When trying to open photoshop, i get a message saying "Licensing for this product has stopped working." And "Error: 150:30" I don't know what to do from here. Can someone help me? Thanks.
"Migrating" and/or "transferring" an application is not just asking for trouble but demanding it!
Always install an Adobe application from scratch, from the original media: CD or download. -

I have error 150:30 on Mac Mavericks 10.9. I've read through the fix for lower versions, but can't find anything for the newer one and am afraid to mess around in the terminal if it's not right. Help? Thanks much-
You can contact Adobe directly using the link below. Use the dropdown menu for boxes (1) & (2) to scroll down the list and choose:
1. Adobe Photoshop Elements
2. Adobe ID, and signing-in
3. Click on the blue button: Still need help? Contact us – then click the button marked chat 24/7 “start chat ”

I can't gain access to my install discs and I have tried all the other suggestions for fixing this problem, so I'm thinking reinstallation is the only way.
I have access to my serial number but I can't find anywhere that offers a download of CS4 as it's a bit older.http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs4-product-downloads.html

'Licensing Stopped Working' on migration of CS4 to Mac Air
Hello all,
I bought a mac air (10.7) and migrated all of my apps and user info from my macbook - including cs4 - via a time machine backup of that 'old' computer. Everything moved fine, and all apps work, except for cs4. I get an error that "Licensing for this product has stopped working" Error: 150:30
Any thoughts/assistance? Thanks!
JenniferIt is best to re-install the apps, since you need to re-activate the apps as well. But you can try the license repair tool:

CS3 "Licensing stopped working"
I'm getting the "Licensing stopped working" error whenever I try to open any of my CS3 applications. I looked at the troubleshooting steps here: Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Windows. I downloaded, extracted, and used the fix, but it didn't work. I tried looking for the FLEXnet service to manually activate it, only to find my computer devoid of said service. I'm assuming this is the problem, but I'm unsure as to how to fix it. I'm going to try redownloading the fix, to see if that will help. I await a response, thanks.
I would suggest Section 8.
Go with the complete uninstall/reinstall.
It's a pain, but nuke and pave works best. Follow the steps and have your serial number and discs at the ready.
