Licensing templates to sell online

hello.
I recently become web designer. i Am trying to make a online shop on BC to sell web site templates of my own creation.I´ve seen on other template shops that it is necessary some type of license for the clients tp purchase our software.Were do we developers get this licenses to sell our software and which ones are more appropriate for web site templates?

If you are going to develop exclusively BC Templates, there is a process we can help with, but you'll have to raise a case with us on that.

Custom Web template for the "online link" UI command

We are trying to use a specific custom web template to allow personlization of reports within the Portal BI tool using the online link UI command. After users have broadcasted their reports to their BIuserhome directory there is an online link UI command associated to the saved report.
Our one option would be to configure the web template as the default within the IMG. But when we configured a default within the IMG, personalization of the report is not available with the context menu of the report. We are broadcasting the reports to the BIuserhome directory. Once the reports are saved users have the ability access the report using the online link UI command. Since we lose personalization when we configure the IMG with a default web template, we want use a custom web template when we execute the online link UI command.
Is there a way to pass a web template parameter when we execute the online link UI command?

Template not updating online files

I use one template for 62 files which I have already
uploaded. I made a change to the template which updated my files
offline but do I have to re-upload all these files again? When I
just upload the template, none of the other files online
automatically updated. This is my first use of templates and I
assumed that if you modify the template then the change will carry
over to each associated file that already resides on the server
which would be great. What should I do to keep from having to
re-upload each file after I make a change to the template?

Yup. That's hw Templates work.

Nothing you can do, again it's just how Templates work. You
can however read
about server side includes (ssi) in DW Help and other places
(Google) and
use them to replace some pieces of your Template. For example
put your menu
(navigation) in an Include file. Change just that file when
you need to
modify your menu. Then upload just that Include file and it
will be (what
else?) *included* in all your pages.

Can a license key be checked online for validity and activation capable?

I am planning to buy Photoshop from someone in a face to face transaction locally. Is there a way to check if the serial key is valid, can be activated and registered online? I want to do this on the spot using my smart phone.

A license key certainly be checked by going to Adobe's Website, login with a valid user name and password.
There you will find a page called Your Adobe Product and Online Service Registrations.
This is a full list of my registered Adobe products shown by:
Serial Number, Application, Version, Platform, date purchased and Licenses.
Mine shows a list of products purchased and registered all the way back to the year 2002.

No registered license showing under my online account

Hello,
I purchased CS6 Photoshop extended last year via a download. I recently opened a support case because the license did not show as registered under my Adobe online account (this is because I purchased the program with a different email than my Adobe account email). The support tech said she had fixed the problem, however my registered product still does not show under my Adobe online account. I've tried clicking "register your product," but it says it's already been registered. I'm going to be transferring my license from a Mac to a PC, so I need to have it registered under my account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your response. I have gone through the online chat system a number of times to no avail (connecting with a rep, etc). I finally found a phone number and so I will try that route. If anyone else has had this issue and found a fix, please let me know!

Do I use that template just as if I had made it in DW from my index.html?

Copy the Template files to your local site folder.
Open the Template index page and SaveAs prototype.html.
Make required changes. Save.

Report with online template runs online, but exports empty report.

I created a simple Table template using the online template builder. The report consists of four columns. It runs fine in online mode, and displays the data. When I try to export this report to any other format, while still viewing the table in the browser, it exports an empty report! Only the title is visible, no data rows.
Just another example of how bad this software is. Every day it's a different bug!

It's the conditional highlighting that breaks the report. I made it so a few rows were emboldened based on the value of one column. Nice feature, Oracle.

Project Online and Project Lite Licenses Transferable?

I was wondering how the user licenses are handled when deactivating and reallocating. Are user licenses transferable for Project Online, Project Lite, and Project for O365?

It depends on how you are defining "Transferrability". As a bottom line, the number of "Active" users at any time, cannot be more than your licenses. And the license for each product are its own.
I am no licensing expert, and I suggest you talk to a Microsoft Rep for a concrete statement on the licenses.

Photoshop Elements 9 online album templates

After upgrading to Elements 9, I discovered that the wonderful online album templates I used with Element 4 are not available. I'm building a large number of online albums for my extended family website and now have fewer attractive templates for these online albums. I would have preferred to have the templates from PSE 4.
Is it possible to load the PSE 4 templates into PSE 9?
The only acceptable template I've found in PSE 9 is "Sliding" and I would like to modify it slightly (I'd like to add the photo filenames since family members can find the filename and download the original scanned photo if they wish). However, I don't know the file locations for this template; there is nothing for example that I can find like "Sliding.psd" or like-named xml files.
Any pointers anyone could provide would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, the current templates are all flash templates, not HTML templates like the old ones, so your best bet is to stick with PSE 4 for those. You can modify the current templates if you know how to code in flash, but otherwise, no, sorry.
Edit: you might also want to check out the free JAlbum program and see if there's anything there that appeals to you.

Bought Aperture 1.5 license online from Trial-CD available?

I purchased a license for 1.5 online directly from the trial, but there was no opportunity to download an official installer nor was there the option to get a CD. Does anybody know if this is possible? Otherwise, I'm just holding onto the trial installer, which isn't right considering the price of the app.

I got my serial number right away — but should have downloaded the compatibility checker software they provide.
My G4 dual tower has nowhere near the guts to handle Aperture. Somehow even a new Mac mini can handle it. Go figure....
