Life calculation of spares and updation in tasklist

Hey gurus,
My client has put forth a demand for calculating the life of the sapre. At the time of migo they will mention the life of the sapre in the batch characteristic. Now the demand is the life of the spare will start from the moment it is attached to the equipment, for eg, if it is consumed against an order for a particular equipment. Now whenever the preventive order is generated for an equipment system should give information regarding the life of the materials attached to it so that whichever material is nearing its expiry date client will be able to procure it before the next preventive maintenance order is released. Please give me suggestions how to go about it.

As per my analysis of the case the interest rates are as under
Acq. Year                                                    Int.Percent
9999     4          01     10.%
9999     7          01     5.%
9999     25          01     2.5%
9999     999     12     01     2.5%
As per this the Acquisition value less the Scrap Value Rs.312,465.00 @ 2.5% p.a will be Rs. 7811.64.
Based on the above you analyse for which period interest is calculated.

Delta Calculation and Updating multiple tables

We pull data from a System of Records table that contains the most up to date information. The information changes daily so we have a delta process to identify what new records were added, which records were deleted (records that are not found in the table as compared to yesterday) and which were updated. Delta process compares the already loaded data with the newly updated SOR data to find the differences.
Once the delta is established, either new records get added or existing records get updated or existing records are marked as inactive (Deletes). Additions and Updates generally happen across multiple destination tables.
Updates are identified by looking at different columns to see if any one column is changed. These columns end up in different tables.
Example
Source Delta Table, S1

S1.Col1 maps to Destination Table D1.Col23
S1.Col2 maps to Destination Table D2.Col45
S1.Col3 maps to Destination Table D3.Col11
Currently all tables are updated irrespective of whether the relevant data has changed or not (All 3 destination tables are updated).
I would like to know which of the Columns for a given row has changed values so that I can update only the relevant tables.
Thus if additional columns are available that act as flags
Source Delta Table, S1

then for incoming ID=2, I just have to update Destination Table D2 and not D1 and D3

How can I achieve that?
This is mainly to improve performance as the processing time is very short - Faster the delta processing, better will it be.

My question was more towards establishing what has changed.
Given a table, which is updated daily, how does one efficiently establish which data has changed?
Here is an example to clarify my question further
The Source table has the following data on a particular day
Data in Source table on Monday

Copy of the above data is stored in a Old Data table

Data in Source Table is compared with data in Old Data Table
Delta established by comparing Source Table with Old Data Table

Rows with IDs 1 & 2 were updated - thus to be updated
Row with ID 3 - no change so not seen in delta

I can do the above easily. I would like to a step further to be able to say for updates
Row with ID 1 has Col1 changed
Row with ID 2 has Col2 and Col3 changed
Is there an easy way to do this?

Calculation of depreciation and interest for a particular asset class

I have a problem with the calculation of depreciation and interest for a particular asset class. The assets are financial leases. The depreciation key defined is LEAS. The following are the attributes of this key:

Remaining useful life: 40 years 11 months.
Depreciation start date: 28.03.1998
Interest calculation start date:30.03.1997
Depreciation calculated by the system:6261.83
Interest calculated in the year:15682.68
I'm not able to undersatnd on what basis the system calculated the interest. I will be thankful if anyone can help me resolve this. An early reply will be greatly appreciated as I'm facing major problems due to this issue.

IPhone told me I needed to restore and update, also said the phone did not have an IMEI number. I tried to restore from iTunes but keep getting an error message.

Sounds like you might need to take it to an Apple Store but if it is an iPhone 3G it would no longer be under warranty.
Looking at the Apple Store online you can get an iPhone 3GS from $49 on AT&T if it comes to having to get a new one. Your other option is second hand.

The program should read the open items i.e debit items in the customer account,
Based on the invoice date and customer payment terms calculate the due date and then the interest should be calculated on that item based on the due date.
Use the transaction fb02 and update the field reference key 1 (BSEG-xref1)
with the interest amount calculated
Only consider customers whose interest indicator knb1-vzskz = 'vk'.
Interest is to be calculated for every 30 days
at the rate of 1% .please see example below.
Document date is 01.01.2007
for amount 1000SGD   payment term 7 days
It becomes due on 08.01.2007
until 06.02.2007 you should not consider for calculation of interest
SGD on   7.02.2007 run you can consider this item for interest calculation

Ex: Billing document is created and accounted. Ref 2 is AB
Now when receipt is accounted for this biling document this AB should flow automatically to Ref 2 field.

Please clerify me the life time of SSD and HDD in term of calculation with respect to use and time period?
Clarify me, If my SSD drive get inoperable after warrenty period than alternative to make situation nomal. If SSD of notebook became inoperable than my OS and other installed s/w will be operable or not?

I can copy the code from routine #1 into my routine #911 inorder to restirct the display of output type in delivery header. But as mentioned by you this routine is not triggered at the time of PGI. ( I checked at the time of PGI )
If i link my output type LD00 with Requirement #1 routine then it will be triggered at the time of PGI, but here the o/p is linked with Requirement #911.

Download and update vs download then update?

I plugged in my iphone last night and it told me there was a new software update for my phone. I saw the option to choose download only or download and update. In my memory was a suggestion to always back up before updating so I chose download only, as I had to make a call and thought I'd download it, attend to my life and then sync before updating. So I started the download. I tried 3 times and the download stopped every time, saying it lost connection with the server. I use airport with comcast cable (live in the PNW of the USA) So I plugged my ethernet directly into my imac and started the download. It gave me the same message that the download was dropped. So I checked on the community to see if maybe Apple was having trouble attending to what was possibly a lot of download requests for a new update.
Long story, I do not know what the issue is/was. I tried again tonight after work and it gave me the error message. I tried again and kept itunes open, and just kept my hand on my track pad, keeping itunes active and the computer awake. My sleep is set at 2 hours and my display was at 10 mins. Maybe the display sleep was dropping the download.. I'm not sure, but while I kept the track pad active, the download completed itself taking several minutes, it was 666 mb.
So I just plugged in my ipad, got the same message for the software update, started it and got the dropped server message. I had chosen download only, thinking of the trouble I'd had the past two days, and was worried that if the update was dropped during download AND update, it might cause a lot of trouble.
So, so most of you choose download only, or download AND update? And have others found this current download to take so long that your server drops the download? I had the cable company out today, and they tested my download and said it was 19 MB so it should be ok.

disable anti virus software if installed. Then try logging in.
And try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try logging in.

Whats difference between SDK and update eg 1.1.3

Can someone explain to me what the difference is between the SDK that is due at the end of this month and updates for example 1.1.3?

SDK stands for Software Developer Kit. It is not an update to the Iphone, it's an "instruction toolkit" (for lack of a better word) so to speak that will allow programers to create native iPhone/touch applications that can be installed directly onto the phone/touch.
The calculator is a perfect example of a phone application. Using the SDK a developer could create a better calculator that has more functionality which you could then buy/download and install directly on the phone (this is /just/ an example).

I really doubt if that will do much good but certainly give it a try. However:
It's now confirmed that iWeb and iDVD have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. HOWEVER, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken. If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. How to is described in this tutorial: #26 - How to Modify iWeb So Popup Slideshows Will Work After MobileMe is Discontinued.
In addition the iLife suite of applications offered on disc is now a discontinued product and the remaining supported iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on.
HOWEVER, the iLife 11 boxed version that is still currently available at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those copies still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD.
This may be of some interest to you: Life After MobileMe. And as a replacement for iWeb give Flux 3 a try. You can use it in demo mode for 30 days. If you do decide to try it view the video tutorials at their site and the 3rd party videos at YouTube. I found them to be very helpful.

Green screen, downlading files and updating programs often stuck at 99%.

Okey so I have got this problem for a 20 days, since I build my own computer. Some videos on youtube and other video stream sites bug out in the way that the video just goes green, and starts fast forwarding. Then I think streams on twitch.tv for example, I cant watch a stream for longer than 20 second and the video gets frozen and the stream needs to be refreshed. And updating games, downloading files often gets stuck at very end of the progress, and it wont succesfully download or update. Im not sure is it about Flash Player/Shockwave Player but if there doesnt come example green screen it may show something like you are missing add-on Flashplayer but when i refresh the page it may run the video fine for some time.

Dont know what else info I could put on about my computer really... I have tried to find answer, like disabling hardware acceleration, deleting flashplayer memory file, safe modes and all kind of tips I as able to find from internet.
And I use mozilla firefox (36.0), but the problems happens aswell in Internet Explorer. I have updated Flash Player (16,0,0,305), my drivers (Geforce Game Ready Driver 347.52), all windows updates, java(1.8.0?), but still cant find the answer why watching videos/streams work well.
Im sorry if I missed some info but ask if theres something.

The green screen means that hardware decoding has failed. It's probably a subtle, intermittent driver bug.
You can disable hardware acceleration in Flash to avoid this while you wait for updated drivers to become available:

I sloved this issue by resting my phone from settings>general>reset>reset all settings...the problem will be fixed
