    Hi, Taterbug17.
I would recommend signing out of the iTunes Store on your iOS device and sign back in.  Here are the steps on how to process these steps.

  • Life time of session bean

I read in Ed Roman's book
Life time of session bean is rough equivalent to life time of session or "life time of client code that is calling the session."
"clients session duration could be as long as browser window is open" page 81
How does the server know lifetime of client code.

    Greetings,
I read in Ed Roman's book
Life time of session bean is rough equivalent to life
time of session or "life time of client code that is
calling the session."The real point is that a Session Bean's life is relatively short since it is closely linked to the life of the client - as compared to the relatively long life of an Entity Bean which is closely linked to that of the resource's data. As an Entity Bean's identity comes from the primary key of the data to which it maps, a Session Bean's identity comes from the session id for the client which created it. When the client's session is "terminated", so is the Session Bean. The semantics of session termination, however, is dependent upon several factors...
"clients session duration could be as long as browser
window is open" page 81This is a little misleading. The browser (window) itself does not establish a connection to a Session Bean (or any EJB for that matter). However, an Applet embedded in the page which the browser is displaying might, as well as might a Servlet to which the browser is "connected". In either case, how long the Session Bean remains "alive" depends on the life of the component connecting to it. For an Applet it would generally be until the Applet's destroy() method is called. For a Servlet it would be until the client's HttpSession object is invalidated (assuming the bean reference is stored there; otherwise it's when the current service thread terminates ':-o ).
How does the server know lifetime of client code.By virtue of the fact that a connection to a Session (or Entity) Bean is synchronous - meaning there's an underlying socket connection between the client's reference (a "stub") and the bean proxy. If the client code terminates the connection terminates with it...
    I hope this helps.

    Hi Tim,
I am getting "The page cant be displayed" error while trying the BO system's URL in my browser.
Please tell me which of the below methods i can use:
    1. By directly connecting to the BO system URL from the browser (is it possible?)
    2. By using VPN connection
    3. By installing diagnostic agent in solution manager

  • How to add Connection URL properties - MySQL example - SOLVED

As I've spent a long time trying to fix this problem, I thought I would share the solution with the community
OK, here's the scenario - I was getting some sort of error with the SQL being generated by Crystal so I wanted to turn on the debug options for the MySQL JDBC driver.  This is done by adding properties to the connection URL e.g.
    I changed
    jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test
    to
    jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test?profileSQL=true&dumpQueriesOnException=true
The problem is that when I try and use this connection string at runtime, I get an error from the JDBC driver saying that the URL is badly formed and that the parameter
    dumpQueriesOnException=true?user=
    is wrong.
As you can see, this quite cleary points to some mangling going on inside CR4E that is not taking account of the fact that the URL may already contain a querystring so it should append & rather than ?.
    After much messing I found that this is what you need to set your Connection String to;
    jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test?user={userid}&password={password}&
    profileSQL=true&dumpQueriesOnException=true
I presume this is an issue with a lot of databases that expect stuff in the query string of the URL.
I hope it saves someone else some time.

  • Web Services Connection URL Help

    Hey guys,
I hate to create a thread for something that seems so simple but I can't for the life of me find a simple answer anywhere. When I'm trying to communicate with the GroupWise web services on a version 7 installation I'm having a hard time finding the correct URL. I've been trying "http://[domainname]/gw/webacc/" and the login seems to work but when I call the getItemsRequest method on the GroupWiseBinding object it's returning HTML which basically looks like it would be the interface that's returned for when a user logs in via the web access. My assumption is that I'm using the wrong URL to interact with the web service but I'm not sure because I'm having a hell of a time trying to research this.
Just to give you guys a little bit of background about what I'm dealing with too this is a project that I've inherited from a developer no longer at our company and I've never worked on it before so I'm starting from scratch. Spent nearly a week looking at this on and off and I've come up with nothing. I really need to get some traction here and any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

It shouldn't matter which version of the schema
    that you are using.
You need to make sure the port is enabled on the POA.
If you are still having a problem, you could do a
SOAP trace to see what is actually sent and received
from the POA. Google for MsSoapT3.exe. The ms soap
trace utility is pretty simple. (It is part of a
    soap SDK.)

  • How many times can you connect ipad to a different computer?

I have an Ipad 1 and when connecting it to my new laptop (not Mac) it told me the device could only be connected one more time to a different computer. Are there limits on Ipads as to how many computers or times we can connect them to? Is there any way to reset this or not?

When it comes to apps, this is right, unless you use the Windows version of iFunBox (the Mac version, not even the latest version, doesn't work for direct IPA transfer). However, you can transfer / sync music / videos from several computers using third-party tools (without jailbreaking!!) with tools like SyncPod / FreeSync.
You may want to read the section "A side remark: put music / videos / other media on your iDevice without iTunes" at http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/ios-contact-management-duplicate-removal-impor texport-etc-tips-and-tricks for more info.

  • Error message when trying to sign in with iTunes: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url.

I recently signed out of itunes on my imac and when i tried to sign back in i get the error message: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url. If i try again i get another box asking if i've forgotten my password. But my password is definitely right as i just used to it make an account on this support page. Any simple ways of fixing this?

Just to test the simple things first, did you try to sign in using another credential?
If only yours fails, then is a RIM issue, otherwise is indeed your Playbook failure.

Is the linksys router also the modem? You do know there is no modem in the TC?
How is the Linksys authenticating if it is plugged into the modem??
If cable did you shut down the cable modem for at least 20min to change the router.. this is always required with cable system.. often the time is longer.. one hour or overnight even.
