The front light keeps flashing and there is no connection to my ipad - advice seems to be to restore but do I restore on the ipad - general settings and restore

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source List
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Got a WRT54GS router. # months old. I have it hooked up to comcast. This evening . I found no net when I turned on pc. I have comcast phone and net service. So My modem also handles phone calls aswell. On my cable modem there is a link light with is normaly flashing. When I got home my link light was dark. None of my pcs or consoles could get on the internet. I found all the lights on my router on cept the internet light. Since the "internet" light is not coming on , i'd say that it may be a problem with the "cable" you are using between the modem and the router....if the cable is good....try this....take one CAT5 cable and plug one end into the one of the LAN ports and the other end into the internet port of the router.....check if the internet light turns on...in case it does , try connecting a "hub" between the modem and the router..... let me know what happens

Apple tv light keeps blinking and never connects

My Apple TV keeps blinking as soon as it has power and never stops. It worked the last time I used it. I tried unplugging and reconnecting, etc. Finally in desparation I hooked my older apple tv to the same tv using the in place cords and it worked. Now how to make this newer one work. Help!

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

Phone died and I put it on the charger and the red light keeps flashing.

Phone died and I put it on the charger (wall charger) and the red light keeps flashing. It's been doing that for a little less than an hour, I pulled the batttery twice & get the same light flashing. I also read othe posts and it says to just let it charge for a few hours but i don't think it's gonna work. If you know anything about it let me know please & thank you.

When connected to the charger, is the "no battery" symbol showing?
Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage). If it doesn't reboot on the first attempt, leave it several more hours. I've had one charge for two days before it came back to life after an extreme battery depletion. Every 3-4 hours, with the device still connected to the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it reboots.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Officejet pro 8000 and the power and resume lights keep flashing

I have an officejet pro 8000 and the power and resume lights keep flashing. I initially had the problem when I put a new black ink cartridge in. Lately there was an error message on the computer saying pump stall error, which then culminated in a print head error. I have replaced the print head at an extra £40 I have replaced all the ink cartridges which say they are low even though I haven't been printing. Basically spent the cost of the printer again AND I STILL CANT PRINT! I'm using a Mac with snow leopard and I have reset the printer list and installed the new software and drivers. I have tried connecting with USB and Ethernet. I have filled up the paper. I have taken out the duplex and given it all a blow through. reset the print heads - basically everything the support web pages told me to do.
I have to say this is the worse printer I have ever had from HP. I always buy HP because of the quality. I have to say I feel unless this problem is solved with out me spending more money on it I will have to buy something else - and not HP ever! oh and the warranty is out by less than 2 months!

Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

The update failed - using a USB to microUSB lead (that Apple annoyingly don't include!), try to restore the AppleTV software to current version software using instructions here:

Pay attention to differences in power connection depending on whether or not you have AppleTV2 or AppleTV 3.

One of your USB connections may be loose/not fully inserted, or it may be a bad USB cable. It happened to me once, when a powered USB hub was not properly seated.

you likely need to setup your router using an eathernet cable and a computer to turn on the wifi part and set an encryption level and password or the likes
if you havent do such things before you may require help from somebody who have

Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.

My Time Capsule doesn't want to (hard nor soft) reset, and the status light keeps flashing quickly.

About two weeks ago, my Time Capsule's status light was flashing rapidly orange/green simultaneously.
Unplugging the power supply worked.
However, now this trick doesn't work anymore, and a soft nor hard reset of the Time Capsule doesn't work either.
The Time Capsule can't reset anymore, doesn't send out WiFi-signals, and its status light keeps flashing rapidly green/orange simultaneously.

What model is the TC? Please give the number from the base, A1xxx.
It sounds like the reset has been forced in and is not releasing. I think whatever the problem is you will have a hard time fixing it.. it will need replacement .. it is just a question of what is possible and that depends on its age and model.
