I can't get Lightbox to install from the Application Install button from the Creative Cloud menu. I use a Macbook pro and have OS 10.9.5 installed.
Any help or infor about know conflicts would be helpful.

Jeff
I have used the Creative Cloud app for a year now and successfully installed Photoshop, Illustrator, Muse. Now I need to install "Lightroom 5" but can't get in installed. I have never installed "lightroom" refore.  I have trying two way to install. FYI...... I am using a MAC with OS 10.9.5 installed
1st
I have tried logging into my Adobe account and downloaded the "lightroom 5" ( I use https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/lightroom)
This page seems to hang, or stall saying
Lightroom is downloading now...,
This window just stays like that for hours. Nothing happens and then I go to bed.
2nd
The seconds way I have tries is I usually use the App window and hit install. Once it tries to load I get error message ( EX20).
3rd. I started a live Chat with Adobe support. They took over my Computer  and tried to install the same way. No success. They advised me to create a new user and install using a new user. I tried but have not doe that correctly yet. I lost contact after the reboot with the chat.  now need to fallow up again with that but I'm having additional trouble with my Keychain when in the second user.
Thanks for trying to assist me. I think Ill hit the Mac Store today for some guidance. Love paying for software that I can't use!

Thanks for the tip, but I still can't find where to resolve this problem.

I have two Creative Cloud accounts, occurred by accident, I wish to merge them and have all my details and licenses under one account, how do I do that?
This is due to the different changes Adobe has gone through and unfortunately I used different emails at certain times.

Under one Adobe ID you can have one CC only,if by accident you have purchased two CC under one account, it needs to be cancelled & refunded, please contact Adobe Support at

I talked to your guys yesterday about installing correct version of Lightroom 5 which I legally owned, and your guy provided me a download link (different from Creative cloud account), but somehow it was for Windows version not for Mac version. I would very much like to download a Mac version, so please send my correct web link. By the way my s. number for Lightroom 5 up is [removed], and I also have s.number for 4 up and 3 full.

The latest non-CC version of LR 5 is 5.7.1 and download links are available on the Adobe Updates page:
    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
Both Mac and Win links are there.
If you are asking for a LR 5 CC link, which wouldn't require a serial number, please be more clear about that.

  • There are no apps in my Creative Cloud account.

I subscribed successfully this morning, and can log in to both adobe.com (where my Cloud subscription appears under recent orders) and to creative.adobe.com.
In the Cloud, under Apps, it prompts me to Try the various apps. I chose a few, downloaded and installed AAM succesfully, and I now have Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Fireworks installed locally. Still as trial versions. With the app open, I attempt to connect to my Creative Cloud account to license them. It logs me in then immediately prompts me for a serial number.
Not sure where this went wrong, but somehow my Creative Cloud account and adobe.com account are not synced to each other.
    Thanks,
    ~Jeanne

    Hi Jeanne,
Based on your description is sounds like something on your system might be blocking access to activation server. It could be firewall or antivirus software. If its possible you might try turning these off temporarily and then going through the sign in process again. I'd also want to ensure you have all updates installed too, I'd probably start with that and then temporarily turn off your firewall or antivirus software and go through the "License This Software" process again. We have this document that goes through some related troubleshooting.

  • Accidentally deleted Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from Creative Cloud account - how to reinstall?

I have an Adobe Creative Cloud account and it will not allow me to reinstall Adobe Acrobat XI because it thinks it is updated. However, I accidentally uninstalled it, trying to prevent it from over-riding an older Adobe Acrobat install I had. I now need to reinstall it.
How can I get the Adobe updated to recognize that Adobe Acrobat is not installed? I've had it recheck several times over the last 2 months.
The Adobe site will not download it, even though I select the "download" button, nor will the Creative Cloud account installer.

Shut down Acrobat and any Creative Cloud application before doing this procedure.
    1    Rename caps folder.
              a.  Using the Finder menu Go>Go to Folder.
              b.  In the "Go to Folder" window put the following path:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
              c.  Rename the folder named "caps" at this location to something else (i.e. OLD_caps):
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
2    Install Acrobat from within the Creative Cloud application.
    3    Rename new caps folder.
              a.  Using the Finder menu Go>Go to Folder.
              b.  In the "Go to Folder" window put the following path:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
              c.  Rename the folder named "caps" at this location to something else (i.e. NEW_caps):
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
4 Rename the OLD_caps folder back to "caps"
5 Now you should be good.
*Note:  The "caps" folder contains the files that the Creative Cloud application reads to show what IS and IS NOT installed.

  • Can I use my Creative Cloud account at College?

    Hi,
I'm doing a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design) and my college has a Adobe Creative Cloud site license. I was wondering if it is possible to use my Creative Cloud account on the college machines without it affecting my student license?
The reason I am asking is due to my need to access my own Typekit library for the artwork I create in class.
    God Bless
    Scott

    Hi Scott,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
You had purchased CC on March 4th, 2014,
The Creative Cloud individual that you have can be activated on one more machine, as one CC allows two activation, till now it is activated only once.
In future if you want to switch machine, you will need to deactivate it first & then re activate on other machine.
    Please refer to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html.
Regarding the creative Cloud site license, it can be installed only via packaging (CCP) & it is a volume licensed product, it can be used only on the machine on which it is installed.
    Regards,
    Rajshree

  • Two Creative cloud accounts - one computer. Help.

Here's the deal - I have a creative cloud account on my home computer for photography and I do photography for work so I installed it on my work desktop too. So far that's been great. Now, however, my boss is also in need of my work desktop and wants to use cc application from his account on my work station. I only have cc for photography (lightroom and photoshop) and he has the full suite. Do I have to uninstall CC for myself and install his or is there a way to switch between accounts (and available applications) on the fly?

    Hi ntsloan,
You just have to sign out from your Adobe Id and let your boss sign in with his Adobe Id.
