Lightbox slideshow, perfect in preview, massively corrupted exporting in html, how to fix?

I made a portfolio page with 70-90 1100x696 pixel jpgs compressed to 60%. When the files are imported into the lightbox widget and arranged on page, the look fine but when viewed from the html, the 10th thumbnail is a slightly smaller and pixillated version of the first thumbnail and not the same as the thumbnail that is clicked and 15 are smaller than they should be a pixilated and deleting them just adds that crap to ones that used to display properly and even deleting the whole show or even deleting the page and re importing and redesigning doesn't change anything. I just want this fixed, it should be easy. I am on a Mac pro with 16 gig memory 2010 quat core and mac os 10.9.1

Zak, i export the site to html. Then I open it on my computer (clicking index.html) to check before uploading to my server replacing the old website. I export to desktop in a new folder. I do rename the file to my website name but that didn’t affect the last Muse design I did and uploaded. Got any other ideas? I can send you the Muse file and the jogs for the widget if that would help.

Why is the preview generated by "export to html" appear without formatting or background?

I use Muse to design my site, but upload via Filezilla. After making a change to one page, I exported to html, and the preview that appears has the entire website stripped of formatting, and everything appears as a bulleted list. I haven't uploaded it yet. Can anyone help? I'm totally frustrated. Thanks!!!

After the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan and save the file to desktop or documents. You can only see the image in the print preview area. Does anyone know how to fix this or when a fix will be out?

After Aple support downloaded the new 10.9.2 Maverick upgrade on my MacBook Air, my Photosmart C4480 3 in 1 printer can not scan a document and load the file on to my desktop or document file. (You can see the doc image in the preview but it doesn't save it.) Does anyone know an Apple fix for this or when the fix will be out? After hours of trying reloading, and the usual fixes, etc. Apple told me to call HP, and HP told me they don't support Mac. It does not seem honorable of Apple to put out an upgrade and not tell people it will destroy their scanning ability, and that the only thing to do is to buy another printer/scanner.

Have you tried using Applications/Image Capture to scan.

WRT54GS v1 Corrupting large file downloads - how to fix?

I have a two week old WRT54GS v1 (firmware 1.0.02) that appears to be corrupting file downloads of more than 2 or 3 Gb, more specifically program installation downloads.
When downloading, the files appear to arrive properly according to their file sizes. However, in both instances I've experienced this week with installation packages from different sources, the installation would fail with either Error 2350 or Error 11FD. (file corruption errors)
If I take the router out of the loop by connecting the desktop directly to the cable modem, the packages come through without error.
It has been suggested that this has something to do with a broken transmission or filter issue caused by the NAT hardware firewall (I don't have a clue what that means)
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You should try to upgrade your router's firmware, reset and re-configure it...
Download Firmware 1.7 MB...
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful" After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
After re-configuring the router, observe the connection and see if it corrects your problem...

How to fix corrupt keychain permissions?

My keychain permissions have been corrupted. Anyone know how to fix this? Keychain First Aid as well as repairing disk permissions didn't help. What I have also tried, though without success, is starting up from the recovery partition and repair both, home folder & ACL permissions from there. Nothing worked. Any help welcome as I am getting more & more worried.

Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.

If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Does this essentially mean there is no way to fix this problem on my end? It's a pity because the design and branding of my brochure will suffer if I remove transparencies and use different fonts. It also concerns me moving forward because it means the quality of print on my pieces will be significantly lower because most commercial printers use Adobe products.

Captions in Lightbox Slideshow Widget

The metadata in my files have both a Title and a Caption, yet when i Add Images to the Lightbox Slideshow Widget, I am stuck with Lorem Ipsum on every photo. Do I have to add the Captions manually for every image?!

Can someone at Adobe please confirm that there is no reading of the image metadata. I thought it was limiting that it was only the caption field available. I am stunned if this is the case that no metadata is being read. I am working on a photo web site and got to the point of importing photos with the 'captions' checked. Huge surprise. It is hard to believe that something as fundamental as basic metadata fields (caption, title, filename, copyright) isn't pulled with the image and available as needed. C'mon, you are the company that has Photoshop and Lightroom. Do you guys talk to the other teams?
I was looking at Muse galleries as an alternative to the LR web module for 2 reasons: one is flexibility in layout, and the other is speed, since the LR gallery export cranks along at a glacial pace to the point of being almost unusable. And this is the LR4 upgrade; much slower than LR3. See the LR threads on this if you're interested. Still waiting for that fix.
The thought of manually entering caption info to a dozen galleries, each with 20 or 30 images, is nonsense. This makes Muse a non-starter for photo galleries. This is basic capability. Adobe should be embarrassed that LR4 doesn't do what it should in this regard, and that the feature needed don't even exist in Muse. Everyone expects a few bugs in the early days of a new software, but not missing essential, fundamental features to make web galleries useful.
Rant now over and I will happily apologize if the metada fields are, indeed, available. Please explain how. Thanks.

Muse Lightbox slideshow: Hero images are undersize & cropped, can't select to change them

Mac, Mavericks, & Muse: First website: Building Lightbox slideshow. When a thumbnail is clicked in Preview mode, Hero image is undersized and cropped (placed jpgs are max 600 pixels x smaller). Back in Design mode, I can't select the Hero to resize it. Both thumbnails and Hero images are set to Fit Content Proportionally.

I've had a similar-ish issue to you, minus cropping. Two key things:
1) To edit the position or size of the hero image double-click it
2) If the original image is smaller or larger or differently sized than the target Hero frame this (above) will happen. What I did was to
scale the frame for the Hero image to the intended area, then get the dimensions of that area using a rectangle. Copy the vaues to make a new Photoshop document and
manually import the images individually and save the resulting JPEGs which will have the additional space around the image to fill it for the Hero (ideally scale the image to fill the target space by losing any necessary empty space).
Essentially the original images you're using must be the same as the resulting frame which is no good if they're all different sizes. Yeah, it's a pain.

IDVD project plays perfectly in preview but when burned NO AUDIO.....

The iDVD (v 6.0.2 )project plays all video and menus/buttons perfectly in preview but when burned to NO AUDIO except on menus, none in the AUDIO TS folder, none on main video which has 11 chapters exported from FCP 5.0.4 as QT w/chapters.
Also the burned DVD has scrambled the links from the Scene selection menu to the correct video chapter.
I've checked all the media for 16 bit, etc.
WHY does it play fine on the simulator but screw up so badly when burned to disk.

I had the same problem with my music not playing once I burned my iDVD's.
What I figured out, was that whenever I download music from iTunes, and try to use the music within my iDVD program, there's a little lock that appears in the iTunes file of the song I'm using. No one knows why...I spent hours on the phone with Apple trying to figure it out. So, the file is locked, and will play on my computer when I view my show, but will not play once burned, and I try to play it on the TV.
So, my work around is that every single song I purchase from iTunes...I have to burn onto a CD, and then burn back into my iTunes. That creates an unlocked file, and I am now able to use it.
I don't know if this is the same problem you are having...but it's a huge headache as I create these iDVD's a LOT for my business.
It basically stinks, and there's no fix - according to Apple...

Lightbox Slideshows in Muse-.

Hello People,
I am trying to create the 'work' section of my website in Muse. (which up until this point has been great!)
I have created a range of rollover images for the different projects starting out black & white and turning colour on rollover.
What i then want to happen is once you have clicked on a project a lightbox slideshow showing all the work for that project will appear. When the user is done they click off the slideshow, click on the next project and its own lightbox slideshow for that project appears….
Basically, I guess my question is: Can a rollover image hide/activate a lightbox slideshow and if it can HOW!? I've been unsuccessful in my search so far so any help will be awesome. Whether it is through the widgets or i need some kind of javascript code to embed - any help will do at this point!

Lightbox composition would require mouse click action for hide/activate , we cannot setup rollover mouse action for activating lightbox slideshow.
You may try to customize , I will keep this open for others who might help with customization.

Saving as a PDF file for some users have been a problem. If you boot into Safe Mode and run iPhoto you can create undamaged PDF files. We don't know why the problem but this is a workaround.
This problem prevents many from ordering books, calendars and cards since iPhoto creates PDF file of them for uploading and printing. Booting into Safe Mode lets them successfully order those items.

Lightbox slideshow opens by itself after closing

I have lightbox slideshows on a page and after I open them by clicking on a thmbnail and then close them they start opening again on their own without me clicking on a thumbnail. This started happening after the latest update. Is this a bug?

Hi Gary,
I checked your file and it seems that this is happening when the lightbox is closed using the close button and you have 'Resume After' checked. This is replicate-able on a new site as well.
At this point, I have reported this to the engineering team. In the mean time as a work around remove the close button as clicking outside the target closes the lightbox anyways.

Deleting multiple images at once in Mues's Lightbox slideshow

I frequently need to delete 70 or 80 images from Muse's Lightbox slideshow before adding new images. Because you have to leave at least one image (at least that's my understanding) before adding new ones, I have to delete them one at a time. It's a real pain. It would be nice to be able to shift click or control click on the images I want to delete so I can do it in one move instead of eighty. Can this function be added or is there a work around or something I'm missing that would let me do this? I've tried selecting one, then clicking on 'select same' but there is no way to exclude one image so that I can leave one image behind.

Zak... Selecting one thumbnail > Select all > Delete worked just as you said; it leaves one image behind. I never would have tried that method because logically I would have thought that it would delete all the images since I chose 'Select all'. Thanks for the quick response and saving me a lot of work... Bill

Lightbox Slideshow - Color shift

I recently uploaded high res images to the Lightbox slideshow in Adobe Muse and updated the existing Adobe Muse site (www.marcmontocchio.com). When checking the slideshow I noticed that the coloring had changed versus what I originally uploaded. They are 2000 longside and their color space is sRGB. There is a color shift going on and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the color space or the way in which the files are compressed. I've attached screenshots. The left is a screenshot of the original and the right is a screenshot of what is uploaded to the Adobe Muse site (www.marcmontocchio.com). If anyone knows why this may be happening or how to fix it I'd greatly appreciate it.

Easiest way to fix it is to optimize your images before inserting them into Muse using Photoshop's 'Save For Web' or optimize in Fireworks.
Another thing to check would be that your image doesn't have any transperancy set for your lightbox. I notice you have a black background for the lightbox. If your image has any transperancy at all it would make your image darker.
